Sound and Video Rentals recently came to my rescue when my on campus resources couldn’t supply the AV requirements for our panel at Stanford Homecoming. Jay responded immediately to my inquiry and came to campus to inspect the venue. We had challenges regarding access to the lecture hall, but Jay and his team skillfully put together the required equipment and set up the day before. Execution on day of event was flawless. I should note that the final cost was comparable to what we would have paid our campus AV group. We at Stanford DCI are 100% pleased by the services provided by Sound and Video Rentals.

Jay and his crew were extremely responsive from the first contact through optional program costs offered and the final negotiations. PROFESSIONAL says it all. He contacted us prior to the function and confirmed all expectations and our understanding of his services. His crew had finished the set up long before the start of the event and checked all AV systems so that the presentation was smooth and flawless. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

We worked with Jay for hosting a press event at SF city. Jay was able to get everything we need and he was quick in setting things up.
Jay was very flexible and accommodating to our event schedule. He came and did the set-​up on the night before the morning event. This allowed us have sufficient time in preparing other stuffs on the day of the event.
He is also a very detailed orientated guy. I’ll definitely contact him for my next event. High recommend!

Sound and Video Rentals went above expectation. We were hosting an all employee event and wanted to give our employees a wow factor. Jay, our event contact, helped frame the space with light and worked hand and hand with C&M rentals — a local party supplier to make sure our event was beautiful.
Jay and his team set up on Saturday, so that our early Monday morning event would run smoothly. We had no problems just a beautiful event. I would work with Sound and Video Rentals again given the reliable, honest, and beautiful work.

If you need any form of audio visual services, Jay Mariano is the way to go. He is very easy going and personable. I was having a celebration of life for my mother at the Bridges Golf Course in San Ramon and was planning a picture slideshow with hours of music. I did not know who to contact so I googled and found that Sound and Video had rave reviews so I decided to call. Jay picked up immediately and with only a weeks notice, he was happy to fit me in his busy schedule. He met me at the venue a few days before so we could walk through where everything would be placed. The day of the event he was there with a small crew setting everything up meticulously. He took the time to show me how everything worked and even left us a backup projector just in case, but was not needed. Don’t hesitate to use him for your audio video needs!

I had a last minute need for a projector for a presentation at a company party. I called and got a hold of Jay on Friday afternoon (my event was the next morning). Despite the fact that he was working an event late on Friday at SFO, and he had another event on Saturday afternoon, and that I was giving him less than 24 hour notice, he took the time to drop off the projector and even helped to set it up and make sure everything worked out great.

I absolutely recommend using Sound and Video Rentals. I had a large groundbreaking event and asked to have someone come out and set up and then come back and take it down after the event. In planning my wife’s surprise birthday party, I realized at the last minute I had neglected to arrange for audio equipment for use with my I-​Pod playlists. On a Friday, with only 2-​days lead time, Jay committed to deliver and set up a pair of professional speakers on stands, a mixer and a microphone. I had was asked to set up a sound system for a church camp for the first time and never had any connects of my own. I had all the equipment except the main pieces which were the cables. I searched around for a while and could not seem to find a place that was able to help me out. Until i found Sound and Video where i came in contact with Jay i got the best help i could ask for. Jay really has a passion to make your event happen, his service is the best. Really great guy who knows his stuff. The equipment I rented was great as well.
