Dustin provided us with the most amazing wedding pictures and was so fun and easy to work with. He helped us feel comfortable and had some gorgeous photo backdrop ideas and poses. From the moment I initiated contact he was so responsive and professional-​I knew we were in good hands. He also took some amazing old fashion black and white Polaroids which was a special treat and felt very beautifully vintage. Dustin was our photographer for both engagement and weddings photos, and we are beyond pleased. His creative style brought back the most interesting and non «boiler plate/​standard» pictures which we really appreciated. You’re not always understanding the «go up the hill, walk in the bush, tilt your head this way», but then you get the pictures back, and they are gorgeous! Trust me, just follow his lead… you will not be disappointed. He was very approachable, easy to work with, and his turn around time was quicker than expected. Five stars all around.

Dustin was amazing in all areas– but most importantly his photos were beautiful and unique. He did the photography at my wedding and I couldn’t have imagined more beautiful photos. He listened to what we wanted, was organized and on-​time. He really gave himself in the time he was there, he had to be pushed to take a break to eat something ;)

He is super responsive to emails and requests, insanely reasonable on price (in a sea of super high priced wedding photographers, Dustin is very very reasonable), very professional, organized, and best of all takes great pictures.

Fantastic wedding photographer — highly recommend! We love Dustin. From the beginning to the end, he was perfect. We did an engagement shoot at Crissy Field in SF and loved the candid, not staged moments he captured. The day of our wedding in Calistoga, he was able to beautifully capture all our special moments, without us every feeling like he was there. We received a fantastic array of ceremony shots and moments captured with family, friends, dinner, dancing, and late-​night festivities. We are thrilled with the quality and breadth of the shots.

I fell in love with Dustin’s work via his NYC Craigslist advertising for engagement photos. Who knew, right?
His portfolio had the exact aesthetic that I was looking for. I am pretty sure that I reviewed almost every other CL ad as well as every google search result for engagement photos NYC and nothing compared to Dustin’s style or the value for price. I knew we had to book him.

We were both new to professional photos and were pretty anxious about it. He talked us through it and went with our natural response — to have fun with it and laugh. We have had two family photo shoots done with Dustin and we plan to use him for our wedding next fall. He is a very talented photographer and his prices are fair. Highly recommend his services, his portfolio speaks for itself.

Dustin just photographed our wedding in Berkeley CA and he was fantastic! We planned our CA wedding from the East Coast and he was super easy to work with over email. He was always prompt and clear when replying to my emails. On the day of the wedding Dustin went above and beyond. He took so many photographs and was very careful to make sure everyone was in the right spot, with the right light. Additionally Dustin is FUN and put everyone at ease, which I am sure is going to show in the photographs (real smiles!!). He really made us feel very comfortable when doing the couples photos and then worked very hard at the reception to be on the dance floor getting great shots, yet he was never really noticeable. Not sure how he does it!
Dustin sent us a few photos very soon after the wedding to share with our family and that was really special. Plus, they are incredible! Thank you so much Dustin! We can’t wait to see the rest of the photos :)

Dustin did an exceptional job with our engagement photos.
We wanted to use a less traditional outdoor space, he surveyed the space prior to our arrival and he really captured the romance and sentiment we were after.
We really wanted a more personal and unique photographer for our engagement photo session, and Dustin was the perfect choice.

I worked with Dustin to get my engagement pictures done in NYC in October — I got them back recently and was so excited to see the final product!
Dustin was so responsive to my initial emails — answering any questions I had (as detailed as ‘should I get my makeup done’?) and being flexible when I had to reschedule the date last minute. Day of, he was also responsive to what I wanted and was open to suggestions for locations as we walked through meatpacking (passed by a stoop that I wanted a photo on!).
He takes his work seriously and is very professional while also being really easy to work with. My fiancé and I were nervous about the ‘awkardness’ of getting these pictures done, but actually had a lot of fun doing them.
As a bonus to all of this, he is a great value. I emailed ~6 photographers in NYC whose portfolio and style I really liked and nothing came close to being as reasonable as Dustin’s quote (plus I didn’t feel ‘nickle and dimed’ — he even stayed longer than our scheduled 2 hrs).

My fiancé and I were looking for a photographer that was creative, personable, professional and fun for our engagement photos in NYC. We found Dustin by his advertising on Craigslist and we are so so so grateful we spent the time to filter through all the postings to find him. As soon as we clicked on Dustins website we knew he had the style and professionalism we were looking for. We contacted Dustin and heard back from him very soon after. From that first point of contact he was a great communicator, flexible and accomodating. He really wanted to make sure that if we had a vision he was executing that for us.
On the day of our engagement session Dustin was punctual, professional and we had so much fun! Our pictures came back within a weeks time (with these awesome polaroids!!) and we really couldn’t have asked for them to be any better. Obviously, we posted them on facebook and everyone has been raving about them and we owe it all to Dustin.

We used Dustin’s services for our wedding this past Memorial Day weekend.
When looking for a photographer, we were looking for someone with great modern style, reasonably priced and funny — Dustin checked all of our boxes and more. We wanted a wedding a few vintage elements and Dustin came through big time — he brought a vintage Polaroid for a few photos! Awesome touch.
Firstly, he scouted out our wedding site early on. It was at least an hour from Manhattan in the middle of the NJ countryside. He scoped out a few spots for our ‘First Look’ photos (i hadn’t had the chance to find any spots) and all of this spots were perfect. The weather that day was pretty miserable — extra windy, drizzling and random moments of sunshine. Dustin adapted to the weather with grace. He climbed into a muddy field in order to get the perfect shot — all while making us laugh to break the tension — I am not great in front of the camera. He also took excellent family group photos and captured the moment all the way through our reception.

Dustin was our wedding photographer last month. We were extremely grateful to have found him; unlike other photo studios, Dustin truly loves what he does and does not nickel and dime you for his services.
Before the wedding, Dustin was organized and attentive and always available to us.
We had a mixed culture wedding which involved two ceremonies and the longest day of our lives. Dustin was committed to being there for the whole day (and he was!). He was punctual and attentive. It was a difficult job tolerating our pushy disorganized family, but he pulled it off.
Dustin sent our photos so promptly they were waiting for us when we returned from our honeymoon (this was about 2.5 weeks after the wedding). We absolutely love the photos. You can really recreate the day just by looking through them. He was clearly very busy!
It is refreshing to find someone in the wedding business who is focused on what matters. His attention to detail and good manners are truly unique in this industry.

Met Dustin while he was filming at my friend’s wedding, although we had already booked a photographer for our wedding, we were considering a videographer. After reviewing Dustin’s site and seeing some of the previous wedding videos he had done, we were convinced that his style of filming was ideal for what we were looking for. Dustin was very responsive whenever we bombarded him with questions and concerns.
On the day of the wedding, Dustin pretty much started filming from the beginning of the day all the way until the end of the reception. As the reception was starting to wind down, my wife and I had told Dustin that he should call it a night since it was getting late and we assumed he had way more than enough footage for the day. However, Dustin went against our request and stayed for the rest of the reception. This really reassured my wife and I that Dustin was dedicated to his role and cared about his work.
Weeks after the wedding, my wife and I, the ever indecisive couple that we were couldn’t decide on a song we wanted Dustin to use for the wedding video. Dustin took it upon himself to send us a video with a song that he felt best suited our wedding. The song selection was spot on, the video perfectly reflected what our wedding day was like and we will always feel like we can relive that day all thanks to Dustin’s hard work, dedication, and artistic preference.
We would definitely use Dustin again as our videographer and photographer (check his work on instagram!) when my wife and I decide to renew our vows!

Dustin shot our engagement photos and did a great job! As a woman I was very grateful for his attention to detail when a hair was out of place or the angle wasn’t right.
Our photos were taken in NYC and he shot the standard Central Park location I suggested but also recommended China Town which was really unique and turned out to be our favorite photos. He has a great modern twist and really captures the emotion of each photo.
