The owner here is awesome! Brought my mom’s 2012 Audi in since it was making a weird sound. Did not call and did not make an appointment but the owner was super friendly and was willing to help me out then and there. Keep in mind that I showed up about half an hour before closing.
He took a peak at the car and was able to diagnose the problem in just a few minutes. He quoted me a fair price and said that I could leave the car there for the night and he would get to work in the morning and I would be able to have it back by the end of the next day. Since I was not expecting such service I told him that I wouldn’t be able to leave it overnight since I had no way to get home and that I can bring it back the next day. He said that was fine BUT THEN he offered to drop me off at where ever I had to go. (HELLO??? Who does that… THIS GUY!!!) I kindly accepted his offer and asked if he could drop me off at the BART station.
I came back the next day with my mom and the car was all ready for us, just like he said. I could not have been more pleased with my experience here. And best thing is that the car is working like new again! It’s been few weeks and I still haven’t had any issues come up! My mom and I has agreed that we are never taking this car anywhere else!

Save the phone call, the owner is a complete jerk.
Called in recently to get a simple quote & was told it was too late in the day to provide any quotes & that I would have to call back tomorrow. To make it easy I offered to give a call back number so that they could work up a quote and call me back at their leisure the next day. No big deal right? Wrong! I was rudely told that he couldn’t be bother to find a pen nearby and that he wouldn’t be able to help plus that I could call back and leave a voicemail if I really wanted to. At this point I asked who I was speaking to and the gentlemen responded «I’m the owner. WHO ARE YOU?». Not a great way to speak to a potential client so I told him so and said goodbye. This jerk had the audacity to use caller ID and call my cell back just to chew me out some more and then hang up again. Funny how after all that he had plenty of time be a jerk but not enough time to take down a name and phone number…
Simple advice: if you don’t want to take a phone call because it’s too late then DON’T. The last thing you should do is take the call and then act like you can’t be bothered.
If these guys are this rude to a first time customer, I can’t imagine what would happen if you let them service your car or had any real issues. Save yourself the trouble and take your car elsewhere.

When it comes to my Audi, I have a huge distrust of some mechanics, even with the Audi Dealership at times. I always feel they give me the run-​around, and make up false needed repairs. The mechanic I went to before this place screwed a lot of things up, so it was a sigh of relief when I found this place.
Tomas is the best, always attentive, lays out in detail what is going on, and gives you the quote with the labor included so you know exactly what you’re paying. Extremely knowledgable, and if he doesn’t know, he will make sure he finds out for future. I finally feel confident that when I bring my car in for a clicking noise, I’m not going to be bombarded with ridiculous repairs that aren’t needed, just because they want to make some money.
Place itself is a little hard to find, drove past it a couple times, until I finally spotted it. Its literally right next to the Subaru dealership, down the hill. It’s a little cramp down there, but a AAA flatbed is able to make its way down there and turn around, so you’re good.
conclusion: both Tomas and Frank are just two honest people who care about their customers, and their cars.

Extremely knowledgeable with Audis. They not just techs or mechanics, but they are enthusiasts. They have an extreme passion for cars and Audis specifically. Your car will be in good hands with Tomas and Frank.

Great experience with Tomas and Frank. I have left a previous shop that said I needed Shocks, Tires, and a coolant regulator. They were aggressive so I shopped around. European was recommended. I couldn’t be happier. I went from thinking I needed to sell my car because of an anticipated $ 3000 bill. Ultimately I was able to get my repairs done for $ 590. The other shop was selling me stuff I didn’t need. My x5 was fixed better than I hoped. They even figured out how to get my keyless entry to work for free. Good people. True craftsmen. I highly recommend.

These guys are still my go-​to shop for anything I can’t do myself. if you are a fan of older Audis, this is probably the only place on the West Coast I’d take my vintage S4/​S6 or urQ to. Besides routine maintenance, they have done custom builds — a 4000q with a V8, an 80q with an AAN engine, etc.
if the above means nothing to you, but you own a German or Japanese car, give them a try. High level of craftsmanship, fair prices, honest. Can’t ask for much more in a repair shop.

Chose European Autoservice entirely based on Unilocal reviews. Bottom-​line: Thomas and his Dad are the most professional mechanics I have worked with. They are extremely patient, professional and spend time explaining the what, how and why of your repair. Their charges are reasonable but most of all, they are trustworthy. Their shop floor is the cleanest mechanic’s garage I have ever seen!

A friend just asked me about my «Audi guy» so I googled them for the number and up came their Unilocal.If anyone deserves a five star rating and recommendation it’s these guys.
Tomas has helped me numerous times. I’ve ventured more toward doing more of my own repairs he’s still happy to talk cars and give me some free advice. He and Frank know these cars inside and out, have fair prices, and are just good guys. Highly recommended. I would never buy a used Audi without having these guys do a once over first.

Our Audi (s6 Avant) has a temper, so it was EXTREMELY important for us to find a mechanic who didn’t.

It’s a labor of love for Tomas and Frank. It really has to be.
Getting our Audi fixed is expensive enough. I’m just glad Tomas and Frank really aren’t. Very professional, and honest from the beginning, even when it hurts.

If you own a VW, Audi or Porsche I highly recommend this Tomas. His customer service is great, he does Dealership quality work at a fraction of the price. He is also very knowledgeable about the cars he works on.
I saw an ad for this shop on craigslist and decided to check it out and bring my Allroad in. I was a little weary at first because his shop is hidden from view behind the Mazda dealership but when I saw (I kid you not) five other Allroads and two A6’s I felt more comfortable because I knew he obviously knows what he’s doing.
The cost of his work was well cheaper than the dealership and Porboys and felt the quality exceeded both as well. When I needed the Voltage Regulator on my Audi replaced I was short on funds and he was nice enough to tell me how to change it myself which saved me a few hundred dollars. He’ll even pick you up and drop you off from the BART station (only a mile away) for convenience.

I have an Audi and these guys (tomas and his dad frank) come highly recommended. They run a clean, first rate shop. It is hard to find someone knowledgable to work on Audi’s other than stealers, I mean dealers. I was a little put off that they didn’t want to deal with my extended service contract, but I now know that these companies are in the business of making it hard for the owner and mechanic to make claims. There prices seem a little high to me (though lower than dealer), but they do seem worth it. I do as much work on my cars myself as I can, so I’m picky about who works on my cars and what I pay to have the work done. I think these two guys are fair, honest and good mechanics.

I found European Autoservice while doing a Unilocal search looking for an Audi service shop to ask some questions and get a quote on installing a set of springs and spacers on my new Audi S5.
It was a pleasure dealing with Tomas. He know’s his stuff and I was able to get a better price on the parts than any place on the internet. The work was first class and the price as quoted. Highly recommended for any service you need done on your car. Honest and first rate.

Frank and Tomas are really nice. I get overwhelmed when I have to get car repairs done. I am always worried about getting ripped off. Tomas seemed honest and trustworthy. I will definitely go back.

I got a tune up that was long over due. The price was reasonable and the guys there are friendly and helpful. They finished ahead of schedule and clearly explained the services performed. However, I was a little annoyed that they added a license plate frame without my permission. If they want to advertise on my car how about offer me a free car wash or something? Aside from that small detail, the overall experience was good.

These guys are the real deal. If you have a German car, specifically an Audi, they know their stuff. They went out of their way to help us arrive at a cost effective solution to our car’s issue and are so personable and helpful. I have never trusted a mechanic so much.

European Autoservice is a great business. They are honest and very reliable. Their prices are competitive and the thoroughly explain the service that they have performed. I have taken my car here since I moved back to the bay area, and I still go here even though I now live in SF.

if you have an audi. this is the place to get it fix. tomas is top-​notch in my book. this is the father and son auto shop to go to. they’re honest and does a quality work. they’ll tell you what need done no BS. you can also negotiate price. the only audi auto shop i know that’s good, reliable, honest, and reasonable.

So I was referred to Tomas, the owner, by a friend of my husband’s. I have been looking for a good and honest mechanic for a long time. I am glad that I found Tomas. He addressed all my concerns, he’s professional, and he’s reasonable. He and his dad are just great. They give me their professional opinions and show me where I need work done on my car. They specialize in Audi vehicles. I really appreciate that they don’t push any service just to make a sale. I highly recommend this shop.
