History

Established in 2003.

The owner has been involved in the industry as a driver since 1998. He started his own company in 2003. We were a home based business and started with one stretch limo in Valley Village, CA. After a few years I thought it a little inappropriate waking up every day walking around in a bathrobe at home and as I grew my drivers would come over and give strange looks. I felt like Heffner junior.

So in 2009 I moved my office out of my home to Van Nuys Airport on the Tarmac, almost.

We have been here ever since and love it. We are based at Signature Flight Support off Sherman Way and Hayvenhurst.

We have 6 cars now in the fleet and great clients all over. 10 years running and we survived in a rough economy in LA is a blessing.

We hand pick our driver and staff. We are proud to say we have a great team who always go the extra step to make a difference.

I am 49 young man from New York. The family drove across country and moved to San Francisco in 1973 – 1977.

We moved to LA in 1977 I moved out at 18. I went to Belmont High School and LACC. I lived in Hollywood and what an experience that was. LOL

I worked for North Hollywood Honda Motorcycles then I was a driver for UPS and Fed-​X and I was persuaded to get into the limousine business back in 1998 since I seemed to be great with people and was a pay-​it-​forward kind of guy.

I ride motorcycles still, ever since I was fifteen. Dirt biked off Templin Hwy above Valencia and Indian Dunes. Rode Trials competition. I love NASCAR, Hockey, and music of all types. Enough about me… LOL

We were looking to rent a limo for our son’s ninth birthday. We did some research on Unilocal and were so glad we found Jacoby. The limo picked us up and the driver, Kenny, bought balloons and had bottled Shirley Temple drinks and sparkling cider for the kids. Our son is OBSESSED with cars so he asked Kenny no less than a hundred questions about the limo and Kenny answered each one patiently and enthusiastically. The kids also loved all the features and Kenny never complained when they repeatedly opened and closed the partition or played with the music controls. Kenny also contacted the restaurant when we were running late and made sure our table was ready when we arrived. Finally, in all the excitement, we forgot to take pictures of the limo itself so Kenny texted us a bunch of photos after. Kenny went above and beyond to make this a memorable and special day for our son and we are so grateful. We will absolutely use Jacoby again and highly recommend their services.

I made a very last minute request with Jacoby. I needed a car for my elderly mother to get her to a physical therapy appointment They scrambled to meet my request. I then had to call and cancel the appointment they worked so hard to book right before they would have had to leave to pick her up as she got sick. They were not only very courteous and understanding, they followed up with me later in the day just to check and see how she was doing. WOW — this type of care and concern, customer care is almost unheard of today. I will always use this service and I highly recommend anyone looking for a great service give them a call.

I called and I was instantly connected with the nicest and most patient person. I am 7.5 months pregnant and going on I guess what’s called a «baby moon» we are traveling to Catalina Island on a helicopter so I wanted to make this experience as memorable as possible. Right away John was very understanding and helpful. I will always use this service in the future. I have called other businesses and they are very impatient and not helpful. And non caring. Thank you for being different and making your customers come first. You are the best!!!

I have used at least 50 car service companies over the last 5 years and have never received as good of service as Jacoby provided. The owner John handles all inbound calls and service arrangements. He was able to arrange for a car same day. Immediately followed up with a text message on who my driver was, their number and when they would be at my house. He also followed up on my return. No 1 – 800 numbers to call, direct, quick service and easily managed through text messages. Both drivers Michal and Dennis were so friendly and great drivers. I have selected jacoby as my primary car service going forward. They also were 20% cheaper than the competitors.

John took my fiancé and myself to LAX and picked my wife and I up when we traveled for our wedding. Car was great, price was great, and John was incredible. I have already become a repeat customer and I know I will keep using him. I’ve been in the stretch limo, the SUV and the town car and they are all immaculate.
Highly recommended for airport service at Van Nuys, Burbank and LAX (probably all the others too), night out, and winery runs to Paso Robles, Solvang/​Santa Ynez or even Temecula. As long as John is around, I’ll never use another car service again.

Wow. What a great company. John at Jacoby Limousine took great care of us. He eagerly came and got us in Ventura County and took our whole family to LAX. The car was pristine, clean and new. If you need a ride for any occasion then call John at Jacoby Limo. I arranged a surprise evening for my parent’s 45th Wedding Anniversary and I didn’t want them to deal with driving and parking. From the moment I spoke with John at Jacoby Limo I knew this would be the company to go with. I had already called 4 other companies and John was the only one who provided professional, courteous, «old-​fashioned» customer service that I truly appreciate. Prices were comparable to the others (or even a little less) and they were located nearby (Van Nuys) so no charge on additional travel time. I could go on and on about how every step of the reservation and arrangement was hassle-​free and professional but I’ll skip to the end result. My parents had the best time! They felt very comfortable with their driver Kevin and appreciated his customer service AND excellent driving. I think the best part of the night was not having to deal with parking and enjoying the ride home! Thank you John and Kevin, I look forward to working with you again!

This is the best limo service I have ever used. They came highly recommended from a friend but I never expected them to be this good. These guys were great! The driver was not only prompt and professional but he actually called to ask if he could pick me up early to meet my boyfriend at the airport as he was tracking the flight on the airlines website and it was going to be 30 minutes ahead of schedule. He was more on the ball than I was! I was super impressed. He offered to take us on the scenic route (at no extra charge) as it was my boyfriends first time in LA. The limo was beautiful, contemporary, clean and stocked to the hilt! The prices were very reasonable and the service top notch. I will be using them for all of my hired car services for business and pleasure from now on!

WOW! This is the second time I have used this service. First time a splurge to the Greek Theater and this time business to LAX from the Valley.
Punctual, courteous service. We had a couple very large boxes in addition to luggage. No problem with the Limo Denali. Driver was waiting for us inside from our International return flight.
