Kast Pest Control

I swear these reviews must be paid for. We decided to support this local, family owned «pest control» business to give them a shot after using Terminix for a number of years. Worst mistake of our lives. Should have stayed with the big boys. We never had an issue with spiders, bugs or other creatures while using Terminix but after switching to Kast «Pest Control» the appearance of pests that should be controlled has gotten worse. Not only do we see live bugs and spiders in our house way more than before (to be honest you can never 100% get rid of anything) but after 7 years of living in our beautiful home, our dogs have now been overrun with fleas. We’ve had dogs for 15+ years (2 outdoor and 2 indoor) and up until switching to Kast we hadn’t ever had a problem with fleas. Ever. On top of the flea fiasco, we also found a dead mouse in our outdoor dogs water bowl. Yuck!
The «exterminator» (whoever he was) was supposedly showing up to our house to spray the backyard but I swear he probably couldn’t even tell you what it looks like. We have a way of telling if someone has been in our yard and on the days he allegedly sprayed there was proof that he never even entered our gate. To top it off he had the nerve to put a bill on our door invoicing that he used a certain number of gallons servicing our entire property even though he did not ever enter our back yard. I’m not sure if he used any of said gallons to treat our property but what I am sure of is that when asked if he needed access to the yard that day he said he didn’t. When I returned I found the bill claiming he did. Go figure.
When I noticed the fact that I had been billed but not serviced I immediately called Kast and voiced my concern that I was being charged for service that I was not receiving. Because my family had noticed more and more pests since using Kast, I expressed to the owner my fear that this may not have been the first time I was charged for service that I didn’t receive. I was then told that this was «a one time thing» and that they would send the same «technician» to our house to redo the «work.» It was probably worse the second time around. Every call to the since has gone unanswered and unreturned.
Have the paramedics standing by with oxygen if you plan on holding your breath while waiting for this business to return your phone call.
They’ll proudly take your money and not accommodate you when you have a problem with the service or a technician that may be operating unethically.
You can believe the other reviews if you want to but I would beware. Unless, maybe you won’t mind living with pests and bugs along side you in your home. As for me and my house… we do not recommend doing business this company.

I picked this company because of the great reviews. Unfortunately I was unable to take advantage of their services. I was told that they will only come out if I sign up for a year program. I’m not looking to commit to a year program. I was surprised to hear this because none of the reviews mention this policy and I didn’t see this listed on their website. I can’t review their services, I’m sure they are really good. Disappointed about this policy. I was told by their employee on the phone that most pest control companies have this policy… another surprise to me. The person was nice on the phone, thanks for answering my questions!

Steve is awesome. They give the best service. I had ants all over my kitchen. They came out right away, sprayed and took care of me. Very reasonable and I highly recommend them.

These guys are great. Outstanding customer service and excellent pricing. We were having a spider problem, but not anymore. They came out quickly and were
very careful with our belongings. They offered us a year program, but were not at all pushy. So happy we found them!

Just signed up with Kast after purchasing our new home in June. So glad we did. All the dead bugs showing up is really gross but much better than live ones :-) Kristy and new guy training showed up. They were very polite and professional. She sprayed vacant inside home and he did outside. They did a great job at sweeping down the webs and critters outside. I really can’t wait for them to return in August. Such a huge improvement already. Great service!

Since using Kast Pest control I must say I am extremely happy! No more critters bothering my family and I. They are very professional and friendly family owned business. They will continue to get our business.

We just purchased a home and needed a pest control service right away since our house has been vacant for some time. Called Kast Pest Control and Christine was so nice and informative. Steve and Derek came out a day later and took care of everything. Steve is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the chemicals he uses. Its nice to know that there is low toxicity and is also safe around children and pets. No odor either! I am so relieved that we wont have to worry about pests. Steve assured me that if I see any pests between now and his next visit, that all I have to do is call and he will come out and take care of it!

Wow!!! They are family owned and operated, there prices are great! They are always so accommodating to my complicated work schedule and came out multiple times when I had a rat problem outside to check on the trap and keep it filled. Best service ever, I would totally recommend them to anyone who wants quality affordable pest service.

They are a family owned and run business and they are extremely professional! I have had difficulty with past pest controllers, not because of service, but because of lack of courtesy. This team is great! They make payments and schedules much easier! If you have a family, a dog, a gate, Mr. and Mrs. Kast can make accommodations for the visit and the payment!

Steve Kast was our family’s pest control guy when he worked for a different company. When he opened his own business, almost 20 years ago, my dad signed up right away & became his first customer! He has serviced our family’s pest control needs wonderfully for years & years, even when I grew up, got married, & bought my own home. My mom, sisters, & I are huge bug freaks. We were always able to rely on Kast Pest Control to come out the same day or next when we had a pest «emergency» (like, «Steve, we saw three spiders in one week… it’s an invasion!») They never give us a hard time about our slightly paranoid pest concerns, & are always quick to come to the rescue! (I might add that the ONLY reason we *do* freak out when we see more than 2 or 3 bugs of any kind in a period of a few days is because we NEVER get bugs. due to Kast Pest Control’s great service!!) Steve sprays our house regularly. Kast Pest Control is VERY reasonably priced, & we love supporting a local family business.
