We waited almost 2 hours for wings and a small pizza. Our poor server Bailey was running around trying to figure out where her tables food was, no manager could be found on the floor. When the manager Zach did finally come to our table after we had to ask, we physically watched him walk to the bar and take a shot after we asked him to check on my pizza. Bailey was a great server but everything else about the restaurant was horrible.

We had a great meal last night. Our server Annalee was exceptional! The place was pretty busy, but it was St Patrick’s day night so we expected that. Annalee was quick and courteous even tho she had several tables besides ours. The pizza is always fresh & a little different. We try to find a mellow mushroom whenever we travel because of this. It was the perfect way to end our crazy day in Savannah.

I really loved the pizza. It was delicious and the choices were unique, but unfortunately my husband and I waited probably 30 minutes for our pizza. It was a very long wait. At some points I was considering just leaving because we came in so hungry and figured pizza is pretty quick. But like I said. Delicious. If you have time and aren’t so hungry you’d eat your own arm lol.

February 12, 2016 Friday — 12:30PM for lunch 1 adult and a kid Atmosphere — 4 stars Food — 4 stars Service — 5 stars Background — Downtown Savannah is crazy on a Saturday, we tried a few restaurants that I have been wanting to go to, all with 45 minute waits. So my daughter recommend this place. Normally we go to the Pooler location. Atmosphere — Wow! I love the vibe of this location. It is still crazy like Pooler but this has more of an artist vibe, just warm. Food Drinks — This a beer and pizza place, and I am in heaven. What to drink?. Today I went with another IPA and it was New Holland’s Mad Hatter. Excellent choice. Appetizer — A half order of their pretzels, with parmesan cheese. That three pretzels with a small cup of red sauce. My Main Course — Each location of the Mellow Mushrooms have their own signature pizzas and we order one of them. A small mad Italian. This pizza is out of my norm as to me a pizza needs a red sauce. Instead this was an oil and garlic base for the mozzarella. All topped with salami, roasted red peppers, onions, ham and a little kick of pepperoncini. This was a hot Italian sandwich put into a pizza. Simply amazing, it want more right now! Service — The two hostesses were friendly in the chaos of this hustle and bustle of a place. Our waiter was great. No issues here. Future — I will go back to any of their locations.

I really like the pizza and calzones from this Mellow Mushroom, but I’ve gotten food poisoning on two occasions immediately after eating here. That’s enough for me. I don’t think I’ll be eating here anymore.

Awesome Wings, Good Pizza. Service was slow and the waiter service was fair. I will come another time before I add this location to my do not eat list.

Service was a little slow but worth the wait. Cheese pizza extra sauce was delicious. Salad and hamburger were also very good. Definitely will be back when in the area. Tip: don’t let people smoke right outside your entrance door not everyone wants to walk thru that funk.

I had only ever been to a Mellow Mushroom one other time & I remembered liking the food, so when we were looking for a bite to eat in Savannah we stopped into this location that was within walking distance of our hotel. I only gave it 4 stars as it seemed a little run down & not as clean as I expected. The atmosphere reminded me of a night club, at closing time, when they turn on the lights & you see all the blemishes. It was an odd feeling at first. But then realized it is actually a bar in the evening… so anyway, it didn’t affect the service. I suppose it was just not what I expected when I walked in. But, then our server greeted us, a charming young lady, with a magnetic personality & it just got better from there. I ordered the shrimp hoag’ boy… oh my goodness it was amazing, grilled shrimp & mushrooms, with some kind of sauce that gave it just the right touch. I wasn’t even hungry after eating half of it but it was so good I finished it anyway. I plan on stopping by again, when I am back in town visiting friends.

I’ve been searching for a perfect pizza since I move down here three months ago. I finally found it when I walked in to the Mellow Mushroom yesterday. There is no full liquor license yet, thiugh the bartender assured me that will be coming in January. For the time being beer and wine will have to do, either of which goes very well with pizza anyway. I ordered a create your own to go and was pleasantly surprised when I got home. The crust was not too thick, the toppings plentiful, and most importantly the pizza was excellent. I can’t wait to go back and try and some other items on their menu. I sat at the bar waiting for my order, and enjoyed some conversation with the bartender. The restaurant seemed pretty loud and noisy, which is not always unusual for a pizza joint. Regardless, I will go back to the Mellow Mushroom!

We loved our pizzas! We had the mushroom specialty pizza(sorry, I can’t remember the exact name) and the Buffalo chicken pizza. Both were excellent! I loved the crust. A small salad is large enough to split, if you want salad with your pizza.

I went with the Philosopher’s Pie tonight Olive Oil and Garlic base pizza with grilled Steak, Portobello Mushrooms, Artichoke Hearts, Kalamata Olives, Provolone, Feta, and Mozzarella Cheese. It was delicious. Could have used more olives… What can I say, I like olives. Waitress was very good.

After traveling all day, we checked into our hotel and decided to order pizza instead of going out. The front desk gave us menus for two places that deliver & we chose this pizza because of the wide variety on the menu & the fact that they deliver beverages as well. The pizza was wonderful! The crust was light, the sauce was flavorful and the toppings were generous. We ordered«pretzels» too, which turned out to be breadsticks shaped as pretzels and not really pretzels, but they were still good, just not what I expected. They even delivered fountain beverages to us. The delivery was quick and the delivery guy was very nice.

Stopped in after a SCAD graduation and the place was packed! Expect to wait a good amount of time for your food– but boy oh boy is it worth it. Fantastic pizza! We ordered 2 medium pies for 4 people and had about five slices left over. If you’re looking for a private afair, seek another destination. If a few beers and great pizza is what you seek, look no further!

I stopped in here for happy hour. This is a large pizza/bar, with folks of all ages welcome. It’s busy at happy hour and at dinner, and probably more of a bar scene after dinner. I was told this was one of the best happy hours in town. It is! They have an extensive number of microbrews, and from 4 until 7PM they have happy hour with two dollar taps(including microbrews). Happy hour is really a good deal, as normal price is $ 4-$ 7 for tap microbrews. I did not eat here, other than an appetizer which was good, hot, and served fast. Great happy hour. Great service!

Good beer and great pizza. We were seated pretty quickly and our drink order was taken. Quite a long wait for our appetizer and meal but it was all so good that it was well worth the wait

Delicious non-greasy pizza with a pizza and beer selection to die for, some pretty cool and unusual pizzas. They’ll let you choose two different kinds on one pizza(with the same sauce base) if you order a medium. They also offer gluten free pizza crust. The hummus is pretty good as well.

I came here for some pizza to cheer me up on a rainy Monday and found it is a great place, the atmosphere here is comfortable and I can relax. The Jerk Chicken is good! A little spicy though. And I really like the Kosmic Karma Pizza. And the decoration there is interesting. For the St Patrick’s Day, they dress their oil painting bull with a green hat, and add necklace for the woman in the old painting. Cool place, good for party, will return.

3 stars because this place is busy, noisy, and crowded as fuck at nights sometimes(thursdays, fridays, for example). Sure you ask, what the hell does that have to do with the food? Well it makes your order of a hoagie or pizza take almost 40 minutes and because it’s one giant ass room, you’re listening to screaming kids, disgruntled football goers, and hordes of SCAD kiddies all talk at the same time for those 40 minutes –1 star from the atmosphere. Anyways onto food, I’ve had pizza from here before and it’s not too bad. I think if you’re too lazy to go to Vinnie’s on Broughton, you stop by here. Anyways, the meatball hoagie wasn’t anything special… In fact I dont think any of the hoagies are… Mushroom soup is salty and greasy. Calzone(steak & cheese) is killer. It is a goddamn hefty $ 10.50 for a SMALL. I think a medium will give me a heart attack. I enjoyed it. The cheese is perfect and it’s ground beef… Idk where the«steak» comes from. :0 I had a peanut butter cookie too… Loved it. It is as full of chunky creamy peanut butter. If it wasn’t for the calzone(or the $ 2 happy hour of A LOT of beer), I’d skip out on this place.
