Just discovered this place was now an Italian restaurant, used to be a pizza place we’d go to on our lunch hour. Enjoyed the veal saltimbocca and manicotti. Food was very good and the atmosphere is authentic. We’ll definitely eat here again. Owner also has a restaurant on Tybee and Wilmington island.

The 10″ pizza was good enough. Beware the split plate charge of $ 5. Had we shared a 14″ pizza it would have been the same price, $ 20. Go figure.

After a long day in the heat, we were starving and looking forward to a great meal after reading the reviews. Upon walking, in we were immediately yelled at by an inattentive staff member about having a reservation even though the restaurant was nearly empty. He screamed at us to walk the other way. When he showed us the table he made exaggerated gestures and rude faces to us as if we were stupid. We sat down in shock as our actual waiter tried to make up for it. Regardless of how starving we were, we immediately left. The fact that any business thinks they can speak to paying customers is disgusting. Please don’t be a patron here where they do not respect you.

I can honestly say that I have never been treated more disrespectfully by employees of a restaurant in my life. The first time my wife and I went we attributed the abrasive manner that we were spoken to to a language barrier, but that is not the case. We have given the staff multiple chances to be even decently polite, but tonight they crossed the line. We had a question about our order and went to ask the female waitress who rolled her eyes and said that we would have to talk to the male waiter, we talked to him and he said it’s the same sauce(it wasn’t) because he proceeded to very loudly yell to the kitchen to add fresh tomatoes to one of our dishes and to the waiter in the kitchen who decided to glare at us and literally ignore my wife and I and walked away. After awkwardly standing there we asked the older gentlemen who had previously walked away if they knew what we wanted and he proceeded to throw his hand up in my wife’s face and walk away again. The owner of this restaurant should be embarrassed with how these employees conduct themselves and we will not be coming back. Decent Italian food that is overpriced with terrible service.

I am going to preface this review with I never write bad reviews, because I try to deal with the business but sadly I am left with no choice. I hope that the owner reads this and realizes that they need to overhaul their staff and the work ethic of their business. Your restaurant is pricey, but tasty, cute environment and the to go orders are good. The problem is with your entire staff of rude people who seem to think that customer service involves rolling your eyes, ignoring customers and becoming aggressive with a customer who merely asked a question. We won’t be back.

Went here yesterday for a late lunch with co-workers. Shared a large meat lovers pizza. Yum Yum Yum! Delicious! Definitely some of the best pizza I have had here in Savannah. I’ll be back.

If you are seeking a genuine Italian family experience(not northeast NY/NJ but true Italy!) then this is the place to visit! Amazing pastas and cozy atmosphere along with some great wines!!! Who could ask for more? A must visit!

Not a place for a large family, ironically. The chicken parm was flat. When we asked for balsamic for our antipasti, we were given a drizzle & the bottle was taken away. The owner/manager was rude just in general; although, our server was excellent! We dropped a pretty penny in this place & felt like we were being hurried out the door. My son & husband both had their dishes abruptly taken up before they could even say they were not finished yet. The pizza is decent. But that’s about it. You’re better off eating at Bella’s Italian Café on Habersham(excellent food, great vibe!) or, if you are in Richmond Hill, That’s Italian on Ford Ave. is fantastic.

A true Napolitano experience! Delicious! Be wary of coming on Sunday, when only dinner(priced) entrees are available at the time of ordering, during lunch hours(tsk tsk). An extra topping of prosciutto at $ 5 on a 14″ pizza, yikes. An espresso at $ 4.50 and a macchiato at $ 5.50 made with Café Bustelo. Ma che vergogna!

My husband got the mussels and pasta and I got the veal parmesan. Both meals were delicious! We especially enjoyed the red sauce and the warm bread and dipping oil(olive oil, thick balsamic vinegar and parmesan cheese). My delicious latte reminded me of our trip to Rome. A nice place to sit outside on a nice day and people watch. Highly recommend!

I used to think Vinnies had the best pizza and calzone in town but now I think that honor falls to Bella Napoli. This unassuming little Italian eatery Tucktaway on State Street next to Bradley locking key is a hidden gem that I’m thrilled to have so close to home. Unfortunately everyone seems to be finding out about it! I’m thrilled for Bella Napoli success and can’t wait to continue eating amazing margherita pizzas and yummy salads! I like the caprese and the pear and Gorgonzola best!

Great little Italian place. Seems family owned. Good was really good & portions were great. Prices were very good too. I would definitely eat here again. The only thing I feel I have to mention is the creepy Count Chocula painted on the mirror in the men’s room… I found it very amusing in a creepy kinda way.

This place is darling. Checked table cloths, Italian servers, and great food. Caesar salad was weird. It was missing the anchovy & garlic in the dressing. It tasted like mayo? Aside from that the rest of the meal was superb. My spaghetti alle vongole was TASTY and my husbands spaghetti & meatballs were hearty and delicious. I don’t suggest sitting near the door as we did, it was so cold out & we kept getting drafted. But that was our fault. The staff is very nice & I loved the whole vibe of the place.

Excellent service and food. Some of the wait staff seemed native Italian which was a nice touch. The pepperoni pizza was the best pizza I have ever had in my life. Believe me I know good pizza when I taste it. We also ordered the pear and Gorgonzola salad which was very fresh and tasty. Their complimentary bread was also a real treat and very good. My husband had the Ceasar salad with added chicken and he said that it was very good. That you could tell wasn’t a piece of chicken they just had laying around but that they had actually just thrown it on the grill. Only weird thing was a fowl smell throughout the area that seemed to permeate into the restaurant. I wonder what is the cause of that. It sure outs a damper on the otherwise excellent ambiance

It’s Christmas day and after walking for almost 1.5 mile, we found this beautiful outside place. The food and service was excellent and we’re so glad we found this gem. Although there were only 9 items for us to choose from bc it’s Christmas, the 3 things we had were delicious. Highly recommend!!!

There was a traffic jam on I-95 North due to an accident on our way home from the Miami area, so we decided to Unilocal a place to eat in Savannah. This place popped up as a ‘Hot & New’ spot, so we took the detour into the city and went here. We were seated immediately despite not having reservations and within 30 minutes, the place was mobbed. Our server came right over and took our drink order and returned quickly to grab the food order. They gave us some fresh bread for dipping into olive oil. The bread was very much like pizza crust, in flavor and texture. I enjoyed it. I ordered the Spaghetti and Polpette, which is spaghetti and meatballs. My wife ordered the Pappadelle Bolognese which is a broad noodle pasta with a meat sauce. My pasta was perfect. Slightly al dente, the way it’s supposed to be and the sauce had great texture to it and was very tasty. The serving size was perfect too. It didn’t look like it would fill you up, but after eating every drop, I was quite full lol. The server keep returning to check on us and was super friendly. He answered everything you said with ‘Prego’ which I found to be adorable. Nice, authentic Italian gentleman. if I lived in the Savannah area, I would put this place on my date-night rotation :) Thanks for a great experience.

I spend a lot of time in Savannah for work and have tried about ¾ of the restaurants downtown so I was surprised to see a new place pop up on Unilocal moments after I said to my coworkers«I’m kind of craving pizza… like, real Italian pizza.» The food here was all good, the bread that comes out before your meal is amazing. The only reason for the A-OK rating is that the service was terribly off the night I was here. For starters, we ordered drinks and didn’t get them for about 20 minutes even though the bar area was mere feet from our table. When a few folks ordered salad, they were given options for dressing and one ordered ranch the other balsamic. Another server brought them out and when questioned as to where the dressing was she explained that they only have one kind and it’s the house dressing that was already on the salads. Okay, no biggie and our actual server ended up bringing out a new salad with ranch on the side but we could overhear the other server being reprimanded for her lack of dressing knowledge and it was pretty uncomfortable. After that it was just really slow going for the rest of the evening. The other issue here are the desserts. We ordered three to share and at $ 8 per item, the size of the dishes were tiny. One profiterole, a medium sized cannoli, and a sliver of tiramisu for $ 24 just wasn’t justified. All in all, I’ll definitely come back but will most likely skip dessert and won’t come hangry.

Great new place in town. The dishes we ordered were delicious. A side salad should be included with the dinner menu. The tiramisu was not very good. I couldn’t tell it was tiramisu either. It was drowned in whipped cream. I can’t wait to go back …

This recently opened Italian restaurant was an excellent choice to eat at during my visit to Savannah. The food was authentic to the taste of Venice as I got the pasta and seafood dish with a olive oil, garlic, and white wine sauce. Nice selection of wine was offered. I chose the Chianti. Service was extraordinary although our wait staff was starting to annoy us with being too inquisitive of our needs. They have daily specials and do offer to adjust the menu to you’re specific wants. My dining guest was vegetarian and she found no problems ordering from the menu.
