This is a family owned and operated Wildlife Trapping, Control, and Removal Service. We service the San Diego Area, We pride ourselves on providing one-​on-​one attentive customer service. We know that most people enjoy and respect wildlife, but do not particularly want these animals in their attics, walls or under their homes.

We also recognize that there is a delicate balance between animals trying to survive and our sprawling communities.

But often these unwanted guests cause damage to our houses and property in their quest for food and shelter. Our customers have worked hard to purchase and maintain their homes — and we do our best to restore the balance between human and wildlife. We work hard to give our customers peace of mind and safety. We also work hard to move the animals somewhere they can have peace of mind and safety.

I have always loved wildlife. And now i have the opportunity to help out mother nature when noone else will. I started this company back in 2003 when I saw a need for Humane Wildlife Control, Trapping, and Removal. Prior to that, the companies that were around would euthanize the nuisance animals instead of relocating them. I studied hard and long and through trial and error, I came up with an amazing talent, a sure fire way to capture these Wild Animals that were causing havoc in peoples lives. I not only get to have a dream job (accept for the skunk spraying… ewwww) but I get to do what I love. And Now we even offer «Live Gopher Control and Trapping»

Robert, at Speedy Animal Control, is amazingly knowledgeable with practicable information. We were hearing scratching noise in our ceiling, yes a couple of dreaded rats had found their way into our house. Robert efficiently performed an physical examination around our entire house and found their entrance areas. Robert then gave us reasonable ways to get rid of the rats. I would highly recommend Robert as he showed up exactly on time, is professional and knowledgeable.

Robert came to my house exactly on time. He seemed very professional and knowledgeable. He carefully examined my yard and unfortunately for him and good for me, he found no evidence of moles or gophers. He suggested that I plug a hole in my fence where he thinks a skunk is coming in to dig for insects.

Robert was helpful about telling us how to keep opossoms out of our yard in Coronado. We did everything he said to do and still got opossums because they are plentiful here and make their way in no matter what. We would not have even gone to the expense to hire him but our neighbor’s dog kept bakring all night so we agreeded to have the possums that
came in-​between the houses trapped
with Speedy Animal Control. We have caught two so far. BUT when I asked Robert where exactaly he was taking the animal to be released he was evasive and never answered the question. Are they really relasing them back into the wild or are they killing them? This consumer needs to know!

This company was prompt in responding to my urgent need to rid a family of raccoons that were pooping on our roof. The raccoons would wake me up every night. Robert was reassuring in how he would trap and remove the critters with gentleness. He was alway on time to pick-​up the critters and cleaned the area once the job was over. If more raccoons come back, he is the guy I want.

OMG! Robert was the best. I had a dead rat somewhere in the kitchen area of my home that we could not easily get to to remove. The smell was horrible. Robert worked his butt off for 2 hours until he found and removed the rat. It required him to remove panels and cut a small wall in the whole, all of which he put back to perfection. He also gave me great tips on how to keep them out. He walked the area of the house and followed up to make sure they wouldn’t be coming back and that there were no others in there. I am sooooo happy and impressed with his knowledge and service. The best thing is he came in quick too! Thanks Robert =)

I contacted Speedy Animal Control when I heard scratching in my attic. I wasn’t sure what was up there but I wanted someone who could get it/​them out as humanely as possible. Robert was great! He did a thorough inspection of my entire property and the attic. It was rats, as I had feared. Robert explained the process, approximate timeline to resolution and costs up front. I found him to be honest and reliable. If I wanted him to come sooner than planned he would. Most importantly, Robert educated me about rats and mice as far as how they can get into a house and what is needed to keep them out. He inspected my entire house and told me where I needed to do some fixes. I am extremely busy and have health issues so I had still not done one of them after several weeks. Robert actually brought materials with him on his next visit and did it for me!
If you hire Speedy Animal Control, trust in what they say. Listen, ask questions, and follow their advice. Some animal removal can take time, but you will get your desired result in the end if you follow their plan. I will definitely call on Speedy Animal Control in the future should I have any further uninvited guests in my house.

Speedy is exactly what they are! If you have a gopher problem, this is the only place you need to call! They respond quickly and are very professional when they arrive to your home. They have always arswered my calls promptly …
I bought my first home three years ago and last year planted my very first awesome garden. Then it happened, Gophers!!! Before I knew it, most all my beautiful flowers and plants were gone, vanished into the earth… It happened so quickly, they can ruin a garden in no time. I tried everything to get rid of them and it is expensive to try to treat and rid your yard of gophers!!! Call a professional. I am a smart woman but could not on my own get rid of them! I finally called Speedy Animal Control. The best decison I made. They came next day, accessed the situation, Scotty was amazing, so polite and professional. Scotty is very nice and very dependable and prompt. He will always be the guy I call for my gopher problems and any other animal problem I might have! The gophers retunred after months, close to a year later, My problem is my neighbors have gophers! This does make it difficult to treat. But once again Speedy Animal Control to the rescue and Scotty and no more gophers. I have the most beautiful island out in my front yard now, filled with flowers and roses. I can’t wait to see how it looks this summer. Thank You Speedy Animal Control and Scotty!!! Great Job!!!

Sorry to write this review, but I called Speedy 3 times over 10 days. Never received a response and my gopher problem is getting worse. Too bad because it seems like the people who did get service were very happy.

After smelling a skunk smell for a couple days, we called Scotty and had he come over… he crawled under our house, and removed a dead skunk. Poor man, he looked like an aline in all his gear he had to wear… the smell was seriously killing us. Scotty told us what to get to get rid of the smell and how to do it, and where the skunk got in at and how to keep them away.
We took all of his advice and I am happy to say, no more problems!

After seeing such stellar reviews I had high hopes that this company could help me rid my lawn of the commune of gophers that had decided to make a mess of my entire yard. So I called. And left a message. And never heard back. So I waited a week, and I called again, and left another message. And again, no call back.
Apparently this guy’s business is really good because he can afford to NOT return calls from potential customers. I think that two calls and two messages is more than adequate to give some company a chance.
So, if they don’t answer sales calls or calls that make them money, I wonder what happens if you hire them and need them to come back out to fix a pest problem? Good luck.

I have used Robert’s services twice now and both times I have been extremely pleased!
This second time he removed a dead animal from underneath my house in the crawlspace. He showed up within 20 minutes of calling him (talk about speedy!) and was able to get the work done quickly, despite the crawlspace being so small. The smell started dissipating right away. Such a relief!

These guys are fantastic.
They came at the schedule time, and removed a skunk that had moved in into my shed. They did very quick, and without hurting the animal.
I’m glad I called them. I would use them again if necessary… but I hope not. Animals belong outside, not inside my home.

We caught a skunk in a trap, and I called Speedy Animal Control in the morning and didn’t get a hold of a person right away, but left a message and they called back within five minutes. They quickly gave an estimate based on where we live. Their price was high just to remove a skunk, but it wasn’t an issue. They came earlier than they said on that very day, and they quickly took the skunk and reset the trap for the other skunks lurking around. They really were Speedy as well as efficient, very professional, and quite affable. I would highly recommend them if a pest is in need of being removed.

Last winter, we had a skunk living under our hot tub deck. It took a few weeks, multiple Internet searches, one sprayed dog, and a lot of heartache before finally evicting it from our yard.
This winter, they came back…2 of them!
We knew we needed a professional. After seeing Speedy Animal Control at the top of a Google search, we decided to give it a shot and have them removed quickly and humanely. Robert came by the same day and identified all the areas where the skunks could get under the deck and get into and out of the yard. He set two traps, at the areas where he identified that they left the yard, and left for the day.
What did I find in the morning? Two skunks! Robert came by around 9:30 and removed both skunks in their traps, without getting sprayed. It was really amazing — no bait, just a good knowledge of the way a skunk operates.
Price was reasonable, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Flat fee for 10 days of traps, with a per skunk removal fee. In our case, it was worth our sanity more than anything else.

Excellent customer service! We had a problem with an owl making our roof line its home. I called Robert at tne end of the day. He asked me to take some photos and send to his cell. He decided to stop by our house since we were on his way home. He already inspected our house with some recommendations for installing metal bird spikes on our roof line. We really appreciated how he stopped by to do a quick inspection even though it was already the end of his work day.
We scheduled for him to come do the job for the next day. What was great was that we didn’t even have to be home. He just suggested a place for us to leave payment. Everything was done when we got home — and no more problems with owls.
I called around a couple of different animal places. All of them seemed like they could do the job, but Robert seemed to take a few extra steps in providing good customer care.

I had rats in the attic. Robert first did a full inspection of the entire house and its perimeter, and pointed out the cut backs in foliage that would be necessary to keep the rats out. He then set traps and came back to empty the traps and to seal the holes in the attic that were allowing the rats to enter. A lot of the «big» pest control companies try to get you to sign onto a contract with quarterly inspections. Robert was more focused on solving the problem AND preventing it from reoccuring. He has always been prompt and confirms appointments. The cost for the initial inspection was on par with other companies. Repair work is charged by the minute — he was fast, efficient and my repair bill was far less than I expected. I would recommend Robert without hesitation!
