Gutterbusters

After the rain started, it looked like a part of my roof meeting the gutter had a very small issue where the water was hitting the ground directly. Steve came by and fixed it with no issue or complaints. I’m not even sure if it was even his issue to begin with and likely something pre-​existing with my home. I offered to pay as well and he refused to take payment. Amazing service. I wish all my other vendors worked this way.

I called Gutterbusters serval times over three weeks and left messages and never got a call-​back. The only reason I made the extra efforts to try to reach them is because I read the great reviews on Unilocal,and thought this company may be promising. In any event, if you don’t get a call-​back don’t be surprised.

Delayed review from April 2015, but thought it best to give a review since its almost El Nino season.
I contacted about 5 different gutter cleaning services and the only person who called back was Steve. He called me back about 24 hours after I submitted my form online and scheduled an estimate for that day. He was able to schedule in an appointment that week and I didn’t have to be home for him and his crew to come out to clean the gutters. I was pretty impressed with the efficiency and responsiveness. The price was very reasonable as well (I don’t want to climb on the roof and spend an entire day cleaning out gutters by myself). I definitely would use them again. Only takes cash and checks.

Very impressed. Steve is prompt, professional and very knowledgeable about the gutters. Honest and straightforward. The price is reasonable for the amount of work involved. We are in need of replacing all the gutters around the house and will definitely ask the Gutterbusters to work on it.

Steve did an amazing job replacing our gutters, building an additional downspout, and repairing the existing downspout. He was highly recommended by Robert Jasso who was painting our house and discovered that our gutter was a mess (you could see the sky through the holes in the bottom of the gutter!!!) Steve was able to begin right away and was very flexible with his schedule so that he would work within the painter’s schedule, even working on Saturday. He answered all of my questions and carefully explained the placement of the new downspout. He has his own metal shop so is able to beautifully customize the metal to the needs of the house. He is honest to the core, reasonably priced and very easy to work with. Thank you Steve, for your wonderful work.

Steve is exactly the type of contractor you would trust to work on your home– he’s prompt, very conscientious about clean-​up, professional and the finished product looks fantastic. He made recommendations to lower the cost and even came back with an extra ‘elbow’ that I didn’t know I needed.

Worst customer service. Never answers phone calls or doesn’t return requests for estimates from their website.

Steve was prompt in answering my call, providing an estimate and answering follow up questions. He took the time to explain my gutter system to me, it’s condition and how often he thought I needed to clean it (every other year). His price was quite a bit more than another provider who’d previously cleaned my gutters, but the clean up was also more thorough. I’m happy with the service.

Highly Recommended. Steve recently did some gutter work for us — repairing leaks and fixing some issues left over by another gutter company and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. He’s very knowledgeable and the quality of his work is great. Anyone needing gutter work should definitely give Steve a call.

Steve is awesome! We needed gutters for our house that had 2 busted gutters. He showed up on time for the free estimate, took a good look around and suggested what would work for us. He gave an honest and fair estimate. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. He completed the work in the time and for the price he said it would be done in. Plus, he took the old gutter off and away!
I’d hire him again, and would recommend him to anyone that asks. We are very pleased with how they look and the whole experience.

We asked Steve to come by our home to provide an estimate on some roofing and gutter work we thought was needed. Steve arrived on time, provided a comprehensive review or our concerns, was knowledgeable, and essentially said that work wasn’t absolutely needed at this point. How honest! Moreover, he was very friendly and engaging. His advice was appreciated and when we actually need the work done, we will give him a call!

Awesome service. This guy is so honest, he couldn’t tell a lie if he tried.
He charged us less than the estimate. Walked around the house and showed me the flaws that might cause future damage– exactly like a caring father would do.
Our gutters are clean and worked just like they should the next time a storm came through.
I must mention that he covers ALL of San Mateo county and didn’t charge me any extra to come out to Half Moon Bay.
This fellow is motivated by a helping nature and not money.
He has tons of experience as a carpenter, etc. and he answered many of my questions about the condition of my foundation, windows, etc. that had nothing to do with gutters at all. A total pleasure to work with.
