Incompetent, overpriced, and rude ! I’m amazed at the 5 star comments on this companies page. I won’t elaborate just that I had the same experience as the other neg reviews. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

RIP OFF, you can repair your own leaky faucets I’ll tell you how.
About a year ago I had a leaky bathtub faucet and called these guys up to come out.
Yeah he was friendly and yeah he was knowledgable and yes he did fix the problem. He must have spent 15 — 20 minutes and changed parts on my hot water faucet stem which probably cost around a few dollars at most.
In the end I was charged a total of $ 145. YIKES!
A year later the faucet started to leak again (this time it was cold water handle side) and I decided to do it myself by browsing utube. I must have spent a few dollars for a new washer and seat. I also had to purchase a seat remover tool which costed me around $ 16 at Lowes.
If you have a leaking bathtub faucet it is most likely due to a problem with a bad washer on the faucet stem and a corroded seat. But it’s REALLY simple to fix, it’s not rocket science and it sure as hell doesn’t cost $ 145.

We had a couple slow-​moving drains in our tub/​showers. Kirill arrived promptly the next day after I had called to make an appointment. He was in and out within 45 minutes, both drains working great again. Reasonable price, prompt, efficient service, what more could anyone ask for? Glad he is in San Bruno, I like to support local businesses.

I have had many hit and miss experiences with plumbers over many years. I contacted JK Plumbing and Rooter a few years ago based on the stellar Unilocal reviews. The reviews in this case were right on. JK has done work for me six times over the past three years on various plumbing problems and on each occasion Kirill has been prompt in responding to our house (often within 30 minutes) and has quickly diagnosed and solved the problem.
Today, I had a hot water problem and he was at our house within 15 minutes. He immediately diagnosed the problem and solved it within an hour.
His rates are very reasonable and on a couple of occassions when the problem was so simple he charged me only $ 20. He is a consummate professional, very freindly, responsive and extremely experienced.
He is the best plumber that I have ever hired.

This company is great. Called them and they were able to come out the same day at a convenient time. Plugged drain was resolved within 30 minutes and they were professional and kept the area clean. I thought their price was reasonable, too.

Krill has been out to our rental multiple times for various issues. Biggest job was a sewer line replacement. He handled everything from permitting, to work to cleanup. Really good guy and deserving of five stars in my book.
Pricing is fair. Communicates well and shows up on time.

Don’t get me wrong… Kirill is a nice guy.
I used him throughout the years and have referred quite a few of my clients to him. I had him replace a garbage disposal and he showed up promptly to fix the issue. Points given.
However, a couple of weeks later, I needed a hot water heater replaced. I called and we agreed upon a time to take a look at it. I even sent high resolution pictures for him to see what was required to replace the item. Prior to meeting I even asked him what it would cost to replace the heater but he said it would depend on the scope of work.
He arrives on time two days after our initial discussion. He looks at the water heater and quotes me 1250. I said really? Isn’t that a bit high? He answered this is my price. He said you will get what you will pay for for a cheaper price. Seeing that I have referred clients to him and he has previously worked my place 3 times at very reasonable rates.
I naively agreed to the work.
It took him an hour and a half. He drained the tank and told me to turn off the drainer while he runs out to get the tank. Apparently he had to American Ace supply which would have taken 10 minutes just to get there. The drainage took less than 10 minutes after which I decided to step out for a bit while he works on the replacement. I head outside and he is smoking in the van. Strange.
I came back after he moved the tank and brought the new tank in. After that it took about an additional hour and half to complete the work.
Here is the following scope of work:
1. Drain the water in the pan (tilting the floor pan).
2. Strap in water heater with straps that are present.
3. Install new gas exhaust pipe (flexible line).
4. Install gas line.
5. Install water line (using a flexible line).
6. Install water pressure release line (using a flexible line and one quick welding).
I later find out the supplies cost 500 dollars online.
Do the math:
750 for 2 hours of work = 375.00/ hour
Heaven forbid that I had a more complicated job. This is a little steeper than I had imagined. I guess this is what you get for trusting your plumber.

I worked with this plumber in the past and he was efficient and professional. I was replacing my toilet and ran into problems due to the specialty size required. Kirill was very accommodating and was able to get everything done well and quickly. I just figured he would be my go-​to plumber from now on. Unfortunately, this is not the case. When a pipe burst in front of my house last week, I immediately called JK for help. He told me he was too busy and would not have time to come assess. When I asked for a recommendation of anyone else he knew, he very nonchalantly told me he had no referrals.
Obviously, I’m disappointed. I get being busy and I’m glad to see that things are going well, he’s earned it. But, I feel that a repeat customer with an emergency warrants a bit of shuffling around of your schedule. Its a shame, but I won’t be calling this plumber again…

He’s been out to our house for numerous occasions over the years from quick responsive emergency unclogging situations, to simple aesthetic replacements to our kitchen sink and every time has been professional, knowledgeable, friendly and fair with his pricing. I found these guys on Unilocal.I called them to fix a clogged sink drain in my laundry room (the washer empties into a sink and the sink became clogged). I was given a reasonable estimate and the plumber came out the next day. The service was performed quickly and the estimate was true. I am completely happy with the service I received.

We’ve called these people several times to come back out to fix a leak. No response. Very unprofessional and disappointing. You lose customers with that kind of bad service. We had used them before and had no problems but now? We are using George Sallet Plumbing. very nice and professional.

My mother called this company based off the reviews and I was not disappointed! The plumber came out and fixed my sewer issues very quickly and was very clean in doing his work. He explained the problem which was roots in my sewer line. He even explained that we shouldn’t worry yet but wait to see if the problem happens again in a few months and if not then it’s very easy to clean the roots every couple of years instead of spending a lot of money to fix the sewer line.
A couple =months ago we used a different plumber and this company was 10 times better. We are planning on using them again for our plumbing needs and I can’t praise them enough! Great prices and friendly plumber! Thanks a lot!

Don’t Bother with Drain-​o! Faster & Cheaper than the top Unilocaled Plumbers!
I called 5 top Unilocal rated Plumbers to get minimum rates and availability for today. They ranged from $ 145 – 105 but no one could get here faster than 3 hours. Mind you, this wasn’t an emergency but when I called JK the price was $ 85 minimum and he was here within 30 min. The clog was 15 – 20 feet into the pipes so it took about that long for him to get the rooter thing that far in. He cleaned up nicely when he was done and mentioned that the pipes are greasy and would benefit from ½ a bottle of Drain-​o.

I had a clog somewhere deep in the pipe of a bathroom sink. I tried the «green» approach of using baking soda and vinegar, using a plunger, and snaking the drain myself before I went to the nuclear option of pouring bottle of Drano down the drain. None of that worked so I gave JK Plumbing a call. He showed up right on time and was literally here for ten minutes and fixed the clog using a professional auger (much better than the $ 10 snake I was using). The price was reasonable when compared to the amount of time and materials I used trying unsuccessfully to fix the problem myself.
He kept the work area clean by laying down a towel and cleaned up the sink afterwards. If I had any complaints it would be that his clothes smelled of cigarette smoke. That’s not a huge deal since I’m not very sensitive to it. Will I call JK Plumbing again if I have another plumbing problem? You bet.

Had a persistent leaky shower in south city at my friend’s place (yes, I am a good friend, subject of a different review). Called these guys because they could get here inside a couple hours. Had old plumbing and the guy was sweating mightily, but… knocked out the leak in about 30 minutes, cleaned up after himself, and charged just $ 85. Honest, professional work, love it. You need some rootin’ or plumbin work done round these parts, call these guys, you won’t be disappointed, ’nuff said.

Kirill has been my plumber for years, since he worked at Black Sea plumbing back in 2004. Now he is running his own business and continues to do good work for me.
He has done all sorts of work for me– plumbed a remodeled bathroom mixer valve, shower head and side spray heads, plumber a line to my new fridge, installed a hose hookup outside, and just today he installed an under-​sink water filter system
He is a great plumber. His price is always reasonable and typically less than other folks I call for estimates. He is clean and on time

Based on the reviews here, I called Kirill when faced with a very badly plugged up sink. I was not disappointed!
Not only did he return my call almost instantaneously but he showed up exactly when promised.
We moved into our 1950’s home almost a year ago knowing that there were quite a few plumbing related items that needed to be changed so I asked a lot of questions to try to get his input on what to do.
Kirill was helpful and honest even when suggesting that I not spend the money to change things immediately. He also gave us a lot of tips on how to prevent our drain from having any problems in the future. I really appreciated his input and advice and to top it all off the cost of fixing our drain was beyond reasonable.
When he finished the job, he cleaned everything up and wiped down what could’ve been left as a soggy mess. I was very impressed with everything and I would definitely call on JK Plumbing & Rooter again!

This review is long overdue. At the time of this review Kirill is starting work on his fourth project with my company, and has consistently surpassed my expectations. He is a master of his trade, and a very honest businessman. On top of this he is also very easy going, and my clients love him.
Kirill has completed three kitchen remodels for us, and always passes his inspections the first time. ALWAYS. He completes his work on time, for the quoted price, and freely offers shares his expertise.
I can say from experience that:
His price is very fair.
His work is top notch.
He is punctual and reliable.
He is my plumber and no, you can’t have him (just kidding.)

A friend referred us to JK Plumbing & Rooter Service recently. Kirill came to the rescue. Apparently we just needed our line snaked but he also fixed the water pressure in our faucet that had been bothering me since we moved into this place. I appreciated that he explained what he was doing and why we were having problems.
We were hesitant to call a plumber because we thought the price would be too high. I was pleasantly surprised and I will definitely be calling JK Plumbing for any of our plumbing needs. Overall positive experience.

Shatangi does not like to wait. Especially when there is a plumbing emergency. Kirill responded to my call in record time and fixed my leak and replaced parts at a most reasonable price. It’s nice to know that there are still some contractors that will not rip you off like the monster sized corporations that charge way more than they are due.
