The best cleaning ever!

This is the most unprofessional company i have every seen. All the bad reviews below are true. Infact what Reshma said below happened to me exactly a day later. That’s how consistently bad they are.
They have me a window for 8 – 9. They called to say that they are running late. They finally turned up almost 3 hours late. They told me that my deal was for just a regular steam clean that won’t remove any stains and «just move around the dirt». I found that pretty lame, yet still asked them to continue. As soon as they realized they can’t get any money out of me, they said they don’t have the cleaning supplies and will return in a couple of hours. I was completely pissed as I had missed a half day of work already and the ordeal did seem to come to an end. I asked them to leave and not come back. Called amazon and they gave me a refund.
I would like to add that it seems like a fake conning establishment. The 2 people who came looked like school kids. They came in a sedan with a small cleaning device in the trunk. I already requested Amazon local to open a case of fraud against this company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Unless you’re thinking about installing an indoor swimming pool.
This entire experience was strange and makes me think this company is running a scam operation. It’s no wonder thay have bad Unilocal reviews and a BBB rating of «F».
1) They showed up 1.5 hours late. I was supposed to be the first appointment of the day at 8am.
2) I bought 2 vouchers from Living Social for steam cleaning. I was very difficult to schedule the appointment, the guy in charge of that is clueless!
3) Iexpected (and planned for) the company to up-​sell me the «deep cleaning» service when they arrived and figured I would just pay the difference in addition to my vouchers. When the technician (Dimitri) arrived, he offered me the deep cleaning service that would get «99% of the dirt out» at a rate of $ 99 per room… So, a 4 bedroom house, living room, family room, hallway and stairs… would be something like $ 650+…are you kidding me??? After explaining to Dimitri that he was crazy, he came down to a more realistic figure of $ 280, however I could not apply my vouchers to the cleaning, instead I was instructed to seek a refund from LS and to pay for the cleaning separately. Inconvenient, but I said «fine» because I had already moved all of my furniture and taken the day off work to have my carpets cleaned. Had I know how the rest of the job was going to go, I would have sent Dimitri packing!!!
4) Dimitri went to work cleaning the carpets, but left them SOAKING wet. They literally squished when you walked on them. I had placed towels on the floor and soaked up some of the water to show Dimitri how wet and dirty they still were, he shrugged it off and said «I don’t think so». The carpets looked very dirty after they had been «cleaned», because when you get dirty carpets wet and don’t soak up the water/​dirt, you’ve basically just created mud… After Dimitri left, I had to use my Bissel cleaner to soak up the excess water (two tanks full for each room… and Dimitri didn’t think the carpets were too wet!). I used 6 towels to soak up the water on the staircase alone! In addition to that, I had to place several commercial fans/​blowers throughout the house for 2 whole days to dry out the carpets. I have had my carpets cleaned several times and have never had an experience like this.
5) When it was time to pay, I offered my credit card. Dimitri said he could not take the card and asked for a check. So I made the check out to Magicc Carpet Cleaning, but then Dimitri asked if I could make it out to their other company, «An Expert Carpet Cleaning» because they supposedly had some fraud on their Magicc Carpet Cleaning account. I’ve never heard of a victim of fraud having their account shut down… usually that only happens to perpetrators of fraud, but at this point, I needed this guy out of my house, so I wrote the check, which he immediately took to the bank and cashed (probably didn’t want me to put a stop payment on it).
6) We’ve been trying to reach the managers at Magicc Carpet Cleaning for weeks. We called the regular office # and the # Dimitri called me from the day work was to be done. Oddly enough, that # appears to be connected to an air duct cleaning service… exactly what business are these people running? After several days, they finally returned our call and indicated that they wanted to resolve the matter. They said they’d come to the house and look at the work done and that we’d have to sign a waiver for accepting any refund (been down this road before, have you?). Well, the manager never called us back to schedule the appointment and has stopped answering the phone or returning our calls. They had a chance to make this right and BLEW IT!
I have provided feedback to Living Social and let them know this company is horrible!

Two bad experiences with them just trying to schedule an appointment to utilize my Amazon Local voucher. They don’t pick up calls, neither do they return calls. Worst of all, they make wild claims that they had confirmed an appointment with you on a day/​time you never agreed to nor were aware of. I’ve contacted Amazon and they’ve given me a refund. I hope they drop this unreliable and unprofessional merchant from their list so as to safe many more unsuspecting customers the agony of dealing with this nerchant. You have been warned.

Got an amazonlocal deal and am very disappointed! Should have done my research first! He called me an hour before our apt to say he was on his way. I waited over an hour and I called him to see how far away he was. He said he will be there within 30 mins so I told him that I needed to meet with my cilents but my parents would be at the home. He told me that I needed to decide if I wanted the extra treatment so I said no. He said I should get it because it would be a waste of my money by just getting the carpet steamed cleaned. He quoted me extra $ 149 for 2 bedrooms and a living room in my condo. That is way more than what I paid for a regular house! We had a dispute about this and I told him that if he does a good job it will be reflected in my reviews and same for a bad job. He offered a discount pending his manager’s approval. I said to just do the regular cleaning. I told him that I had to leave for an apt but when he comes to call me since I will only be 5 mins away and my parents are at the home. Over an hour went by, my parents called and said he has not arrived yet. I called him several times and he finally picked up to tell me that he’s got a flat tire. He said he would call me back to let me know the status since he does not have a spare tire and he needs his car towed. Several hours past and I still have not heard back from him. I called at least a dozen times and left a mgs but he has not returned my calls. I went to look this company up and saw all the bad reviews. THIS COMPANY IS SUCH A SCAM!!! I truly believe that he’s faking the flat tire because I did not want to pay for the deep cleaning. My parents wasted their entire day waiting for this guy to come! 1 star is just too high to rate him. He would be below zero on my list. Bad customer service all around!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY!!! I AM GOING TO REPORT HIM TO THE BBB!!!

Do yourself a favor an d DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT buy this voucher on living social. And if you already have, ask for a refund now before everyone is rushing to get theirs.
I bought the voucher, called and made an appointment for yesterday at 1pm. At 2pm, i called, asking where they were:
Them: I’m sorry, i’m running late
Me: No shit, its 45 mins past when you were supposed to be here. When can you get over here?
Them: Maybe 2:30
Me: Are you sure? I cant wait here all day.
Them: Ok, maybe like 430
Me: Are you sure? I mean, we can reschedule for tomorrow?
Them: Ok, that’s fine. I can do anytime tomorrow. How about 1 tomorrow?
Me: Great, see you then.
Not only did he not show up, but I called again at 2pm, and he didn’t pick up… called again at 2:30 and he said hes trying to get in touch with his technician and cant get a hold of him. Never called back.
I called Living Social and got a refund and went with HydraSteam Carpet and Upholstery (
) instead. They will be here at 8am tomorrow.
Save yourself the headache and waiting around for days, using this company.
Not only that, but itsn’t it weird that Living Social didn’t have the name of their company on the voucher… it just said First Class Carpet cleaning… and its also funny that they spell it ‘Magicc’ Carpet Cleaning… hoping people will spell it right and not find their Unilocal reviews.
Assholes.

All I ask for is respect for my time. On the first day we attempted to schedule their service, only after we called to inquire why they were hours late, did we find out that some machinery apparently broke. The following day, after they were several hours late, they called to say they were on their way … but by then my time window had closed. I’m going elsewhere.

DO NOT HIRE THEM TO CLEAN YOUR CARPETS!
I got the amazon local deal. I never write comments but I think everyone should be aware of this terrible business! They were extremely late, unprofessional, they used my electricity and water, and did not clean under my couch or shelves! Dimitri (the worker) told my mother he didn’t need to clean under the couches or shelves cause no one walks there! Really?! Dirt builds up under those places! It even says on the website that they will move furniture and put it back. I even paid extra but I did not pay him the rest cause he was very unprofessional. We argued about the payment but I refused to pay. I told him if he let me talk to his boss I’m sure we can work something out due to everything that went wrong. He just ignored me and left. Amazon local kindly gave me a refund and I reported them the the Better Business Bureau.

They called the next day apologizing that someone had the phone all day or something (didn’t really make sense) and they were returning all the missed calls just now. They apologized for missing our appointment and offered to reschedule, which we did about a month later.
Problem is, when this surly a-​hole named Dimitri that everyone is complaining about finally showed up (after me taking another half day off woke and moving all our furniture AGAIN), and trying to upsell me to a deep clean because our carpets really aren’t THAT dirty and he knew it, he tried to flip the script on me and say he HAD showed up for that previous appt and no one was home (ABSOLUTEY POSITIVELY NOT TRUE), so WE owed them a $ 25 «missed appointment fee» for wasting «their time»… HA!!! Wow was I heated and we went back and forth as I disputed his claim for several minutes. I sooo wished I had saved that apology voicemail offering to reschedule! I was furious and of course did not want to pay a penny extra for his false claim, but also did not want to have wasted another half day of work and all the furniture moving hassle, but he would not budge. I ended up saying I would pay that extra $ toward doing my stairs since that was not included. The actual job he ended up doing for just the regular steam clean was thankfully satisfactory and didn’t have the soaking wet carpet issue (again, very thankfully) like some other guy’s review I just read said, but overall seriously the worst carpet cleaning scammer and time waster ever. I doubt he is even still in business (under this company name anyway), but if so please save yourself your time and frustration whether you have a discount deal or not.

Bought a amazon deal with carpet cleaning. they came 3 hours late. When they did show up, they tried to sell us on an additional carpet cleaning and when we said no, they left saying they ‘forgot’ one of the cleaners and will be back in 50 minutes. they never came back and we tried calling them again and no one ever got back to us. horrible company trying to scam people into buying deals from Unilocal and amazon and then never giving us the service.

Purchased the $ 32 carpet cleaning from Amazon Local. Didn’t answer the first few times I called and didn’t return my messages. They were pretty short with me on the phone but I was polite and scheduled an appointment.
They arrived 30 minutes late and immediately tried to up sell me to clean the entire house. Apparently, my voucher was only good for a «steam cleaning» which would have just «spread the dirt around» instead of clean the carpet. He quoted me $ 99 to deep clean the living room (about 400 square feet). I asked him if it would be $ 99 minus my $ 32 voucher and he said no. He said it would be $ 118 for the room but $ 99 if I did it now. I would rather rent a rug doctor for $ 50 then try to explain to him that $ 118-​$ 32=$ 86. Cancelled my amazon order and got refunded.

We got an amazon coupon for carpet cleaning. We set up a time and the guy showed up late. Then refused to honor the coupon which clearly indicated that it was for deep cleaning. Was very unprofessional. Left saying I am going to call my boss. We called Magicc carpet multiple times and no one returned our call. Finally we called amazon and canceled the coupon. Very unprofessional service

Purchased on carpet cleaning deal on Amazon. There was some mix up with the original cleaning appointment. They rescheduled and offered to upgrade my cleaning services to the deep carpet cleaning. I appreciated the extra gesture.
