Expression Events

We hired Jessie and Sara for our middle school graduation party and they were fantastic. They were very responsive, excellent communication, asked questions and helped us make the event special for both the students and parents. Jessie had a link where the students (and parents) could request songs for the party. Parents and students were on the dance floor together and having a parent/​child dance was a beautiful touch. Jessie had great music, kept the momentum as the master of ceremonies while Sara had the photo booth operating and in looking at the pictures, I can see the parents had just as much fun as the students. An absolute pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them.

Jessie and Sara are both absolutely incredible!
Jessie is an amazing Dj. Before the wedding, we gave him a few songs that we liked and a few songs that we didn’t like, and he immediately had a spot-​on understanding our style. He was really thoughtful in asking about our specific preferences in terms of what should be announced, how the lighting should look, etc. He was also an integral part in making the entire night run smoothly (transitioning us from cocktail hour to dinner to toasts). When it came time to dance, he really knew how to get the crowd going — he did a great job of mixing the music and teasing certain songs. We loved it!
Sara was a total sweetheart. She worked with us to create a perfect layout and background. She made our guests feel so comfortable and everyone had a blast playing in the photobooth. She also got all of the photos up online within a few days after the wedding and our guests are having so much fun looking at them!

Jessie and Sara are the best of the best! It was such a joy and blessing to work with them. They provided us with DJ, Photo Booth, Lighting services, and much much more for our wedding! We couldn’t be happier as they were extremely friendly, organized, accommodating, and entertaining. Our family and friends were raving about the music and Photo Booth experience. Sara customized our photo booth strips based on our wedding invitations, which turned out beautiful and meaningful. The Photo Booth was spacious so our guests were able to take group pictures with ease. The best part was our Photo Booth book that was given to us at the end of the night. My husband and I enjoyed looking through our guests photo booth strips and messages. When it comes to the music, Jessie accommodated all of the different genres we requested for our guests and played every song on our «must play list». In addition, Jessie provided lighting that went with out theme colors and made it look elegant. I could go on and on about Expression Events but I will stop here. I would hire them again in a heart beat because of their affordable, professional, and elegant services.

I wish I could give Expression Events 10 stars. This husband-​wife duo really made our wedding day. They took care of our weddings music, lighting, and Photo Booth needs, and then some. A really very stellar team.
From day one, Jessie and Sara were both very good about getting back to me promptly as far as my questions and concerns went. They were very patient, and very accommodating. This was especially nice as planning everything else for our wedding was stressful enough in itself! They were very understanding and accommodating throughout the entire process –from Q&A’s before booking all the way through the last dance on the day of.
First I’ll touch on Jessie –he was our emcee/​DJ. He also arranged all of our lighting needs at the venue. We gave Jessie the liberty to play whatever music was in, hot, and trending –and most importantly what would keep the audience going. And man, the dance floor was hot hot HOT on our wedding night. I wasn’t expecting the dance floor to be packed! So, Jessie certainly did something right!
Also, Jessie was like our autopilot system for the evening. He was able to drive the timeline for our wedding, keeping everything scheduled on point, and ready to go. He helped to coordinate the evenings events –like a well greased wheel, everything went super smoothly that night. And frankly, I don’t think this would have happened like it did if it were not for Jessie’s expertise and ability to work on the fly.
Lighting. We had some simple uplighting and dance floor lighting –but this made a world of difference for setting the mood at the venue. Super pleased on this front.
Sara took care of the Photo Booth –which was awesome! It was a huge hit at the wedding, and people kept coming up to me telling me how fun, and smooth everything went with the photo booth. Props were included, at no additional charge, which was a big plus. Booth itself was clean, and very nice. Couldn’t ask for more. Sara was able to handle all of the people quickly, and efficiently. Everyone got their prints quick –our guests also mentioned they were happy that they got more than one copy of their photos, so more than one person can take a strip home.
Sara also created a memory book for my [now] wife and I. The memory book was completed by evenings end, and looks gorgeous. Simple, elegant, and tasteful. I would definitely recommend this nice add on, if at least for the nostalgia factor.
Some closing thoughts;
–On the day of our wedding, both Jessie, and Sara were on time (even early, I think) and got set up quickly. Everything was just … well, perfect.
–Another thing to mention is that their rates/​prices are very competitive. Believe me, I did the shopping around. For what we paid, we got one hell of a deal. You can’t put a price on their awesome, professional personalities either. Took care of our DJ/​lighting/​photo booth needs in one shot, at a great price.
–Both Jessie, and Sara kept my wife and I in the loop EVERY step from beginning to end. This was great, and I would think that most people really appreciate this.
I would highly recommend Expression Events for any party needs you have. This hands down a business worth supporting, and I am sure many others would agree.

My husband and I hired Expression Events for our DJ, lighting, and photo booth for our April wedding. Several people have told us that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to, and I know this was due in large part to Jessie and Sara! Jessie was phenomenal, and there was never a break in music. He kept the party going all night. Sara, who was in charge of the photo booth, customized everything for our wedding. She explained how the photo booth worked to each guest, and helped them put their photos into our guest book afterwards. They were both so easy to work with and put all of my nerves at ease. They were personable, accommodating, and professional. I could not be more happy with their services!

We have nothing but great things to say about Expression Events… Throughout the entire booking process Sara and Jessie were prompt, cordial, professional and paid close attention to detail. They listened to what we wanted and in the end they delivered just what we had asked for and then some. The quality of the photo-​booth and the awesome selection of music EXCEEDED our expectations and for that reason we will continue to use them for our special events. Thanks Jessie and Sara for making our evening EPIC — everyone could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed letting loose on the dance floor and the photos people took home were an absolute hit!

Sara and her Magic Photo Booth were the hit of my husband’s birthday party!!! She was so great to work with and all my guests were raving about how much fun they had in the photo booth. This is a truly cool and unique addition to any party. We will absolutely use Sara and Expressions photo booth again!

Jessie and Sara at Expression Events are really great to work with! So easygoing and organized — they totally took care of everything for my company holiday party. Jessie managed to get my introverted workforce out on the dance floor; needless to say I was pleasantly surprised! Sara had such a quick turnaround in posting our photo booth pictures and even sending over a CD within days.
Pricing is very reasonable, and we bundled up the DJ and photo booth services for a great price.

I booked Expression Booth for my daughter’s first birthday party 2 weeks ago and I was so happy I did!!! We have used Jessie as our DJ for past family events and have always been so happy we did. He is the BEST DJ and plays a variety of music. He is very professional and worked with me to make sure he played music that went with my idea of how I wanted the party to be. From the music played at the beginning of the event, during dinner and afterwards… He was amazing!!! So as soon as they added the photo booth to their services I could not wait to have an event where I could use them!
When I first contacted Sara she was so sweet and friendly and followed up with all information I needed right away. Once I worked out the theme for my daughter’s party Sara began working on props and graphics. She had the colors on the graphics go exactly with my theme! Sara was always so good with keeping in contact with me to ensure we had everything needed for the day of the event.
The day of the event everyone was thrilled to be able to use the photo booth. I had a lot of kids from all ages and Sara was so patient and kind with all of my guests. She had stools for the little ones to use for the pictures too which was great since that was not something I would have thought of.
The photobooth was really the HIT of my daughter’s party! Everyone kept talking about it and how fun it was. All my guests really loved Sara as well! She really helped me make my daughter’s 1^st birthday one we will remember as so much fun and unforgettable. She also got me the digital copy right away which was so much fun to go through and see all the photos my guests took.
I highly recommend Jessie and Sara! I will for sure continue using them for my future events!

We love Jessie and Sara of Expression Events! We met them at a bridal faire in San Jose and signed up for both DJ/​MC and the photo booth by Sara. Jessie and Sara are so easy to work with, no pressure, no stress. We filled out online event forms for planning of our timeline and our requested songs. Jessie did a great job of incorporating many Greek songs that my husband gave to him and Sara did the graphics for our photo booth (our theme was peach). The props for the photobooth were fun! everything was perfect! Would definitely use them again. :)

I hired Expression Booth to provide our 6^th Grade Graduates an afternoon of Photo Booth Fun at their Grad Dance.
Sara with Expression Booth was so pleasant, professional and personable. I had interviewed several other photo booth companies to see who could provide a great event for our students, who had professionalism and who were cost effective for our tight budget.
Sara was efficient from the quote process all the way to the event date. She created a graphic design that would be a hit for our students photo keepsakes! Sara offered to come to school to look at layout for the event, great personality with adults and students alike. Everything that was promised was provided.

We hired Jessie as our DJ for our Class of 2013, 8^th grade graduation party and he was awesome! And as a bonus treat, we added in the photo booth and that was a huge hit :)
The entire night was made all the more memorable by the songs he played, the interaction with both the kids and parents and how he was able to keep everyone engaged and having fun! Of course the glow sticks were much appreciated :)
His wife Sara who ran the photo booth is delightful and we all loved the funny props that she provided. The photo strips had a custom designed logo which added a really nice touch and also the ability to view ALL the photos on their website is a great feature!

My husband and I were referred to Expression Events thru a friend and asked for Jessie to be the DJ for our wedding. From start to finish, Jessie was professional and acted with great class.
