Professional, efficient, and great customer service! I recently had my new home fumigated (post powder beetles) and they did a stand-​up job. I would recommend them to anyone

I am very disappointment with Cost Less Fumigation.
— 4 hours late for appointment without proper communication.
The appointment was scheduled at 1pm, no one showed up after 2:30pm. I called in and got very rude response from Larie. She said that team was NEVER onetime and she WOULD call me back for estimate arriving time. NO CALL for another hour, I called back and got rude responses again. Until 4:30, Laurie called and said the crew will be there in one hour.
— Dead plants after PAID $ 200 for preparation work
I told them that we have plants in front the house and I was told NOT TO WORRY AS LONG AS I PAY THEM for prep work. So I found my PLANTS ARE DEAD!
— BROKEN ROOF TILE
I was shocked to see my house after fumigation! The roof tiles around house are ALL BROKEN! I did roof inspection before fumigation so I have PICTURES to prove what was the ROOF tile condition and what is the current roof tile condition.

Laurie — the person never called me back for promised phone call. When I called in today, she said PLANTS always die ! Why I pay $ 200 Prep work if I don to care my plants to die! Those plants takes years to grow that big, there is no way to get these plants !!! Now she told me the manager Doug will call me tomorrow. We will see!

Cost Less was Great. Great pricing, great service, great communication on the fumigation process. Israel and the Office Manager Lori were so helpful and explained the whole termite fumigation process, timeline, re-​entry, PG&E gas cut off/​turnoff coordination ect.
The property was secured and only one person– Israel was granted entry during the fumigation prep along with me, so no risk is losing valuables during their internal inspection for any food or medicine that was not properly bagged.

We purchased a house that mentioned evidence of drywood termites. As first time single-​family-​home owners, we were nervous and wanted to get rid of the termites as soon as possible.
We first got an estimate from a different company (which, compared to the price of the house and without any previous experience, I thought it was not that bad), however my realtor suggested to contact Cost Less fumigation (since many other companies subcontract with them, not all companies do tenting, and she had good experiences with them)… I was not really looking for a lower price, but more about dealing with a single company (and not subcontracting)
I must say I’m so glad I contacted Cost Less Fumigation! They responded very quickly to all my emails (and I’m the kind of customer who like to understand all details), and also they gave me a much lower quote (almost 23% cheaper)!
They send me detailed instructions on how to prepare for the fumigation (it was easy for us, since the house was empty) and what to expect before, during and after the fumigation
I scheduled the fumigation for the day after we got possession of the house. They arrived exactly at the hour promised and proceed to explain to me what was going to be done, taking good care of the trees and plants around the house.
They completed in time (started on Friday morning, removed the tents by Tuesday afternoon), no damage to the house, left the house properly secured
After the actual fumigation I chose to pay an additional $ 150 dollars for masking of pellets (covering the evidence with cement dust to validate their 1 year warranty).
Overall, I highly suggest using CostLess fumigation, it was a very smooth and easy transaction (no hidden charges), and particularly Melissa is so helpful and made this a very ‘stress-​free’ transaction.

My neighbors contacted a company that sub-​contracts with costless fumigation so they contracted out the service of costless fumigation for termite fumigation. Our house was fumigated for a total of five days Friday to Tuesday because they are closed on Sundays.
I left my home before noon and left the key where it was designated in the contract. I received a phone call while I was away the day they were to begin fumigation at 3:12 pm. They lady proceeded to tell me there was still some food items such as chips that were in the residence that needed to be bagged and that they workers also stated there was cash in a drawer. She asked if I could go and remove the items or if they should bag them and put them outside and if they should give the money to the neighbor (our homes are joined together and she was fumigating as well). I asked how much time I would have to get there and she stated if I was longer than 30 – 45 minutes away then I wouldn’t have enough time. I was further away than that time period so I told her to allow them to bag the food items for me and not to give the money to the neighbor that if they found any money in an excessive amount they were digging where they shouldn’t be. I was thinking it was a few dollars in a drawer or something as we do throw spare change in our drawers from time to time. Meanwhile, I am unaware there was money in our guest bedroom in the top drawer from my husbands co worker that was staying with us for a short period of time while he was transitioning to moving back to Seattle. Fast-​forward to today, Tuesday I received a call from the same lady, saying that they workers opened up the house and that two of my window screens were cut and some of the money was missing. She then stated that the only people who knew about the money were her guys, herself, and myself. in which I replied that she was wrong, I didn’t even know about the money until she told me, and I asked her on the telephone if it was an excessive amount and she said she was not clear on the details. She asked if we had a roommate and I said that we sort of did (my husbands co worker’s lease ended May 16^th and he needed a place to stay until June 2^nd) and she said it must have been his money (I don’t know if she was insinuating he broke in to get it or not). She also was adamant it was not her guys, that they took before and after pictures (I am not sure what that proves or not, I could take a before and after picture of me stealing something). I am writing this review because when I arrived home the only thing that is missing is the money. I have other valuables in the home that could and should have been taken if it was a burglary as it was non traceable and valuable. The only thing taken was the money, money which I didn’t even know existed. So in reality, the only people that knew were her and her employees as well as the guy that was staying with us. The scene also looks staged. It seems they came in from my master bedroom because the screen is missing, the blinds are broken, and there are foot prints on the wall. I’m not saying that there guys are responsible, I am saying that it seems odd that the only thing that was taken was the money which I now know after speaking with the guy staying with us was $ 1220.00 as they left $ 40.00 of it. I am filing a police report for a home break in and I hope that the investigation leads to an arrest. I just find the whole situation a bit fishy only because the only thing that is missing is the money they themselves reported on seeing.

I’ve used Cost Less Fumigation on at least 20 real estate transactions where a Buyer fumigated after close of escrow. Cost Less is the easiest company to work with and always has the lowest bids. Stephanie and Lori are responsive, friendly and really informed. Clients can be tedious and demanding and they’ve always accommodated. They also do not require a lot of hand holding. They just show up and TCB (Take care of business). That’s a huge value when you’re running 10 transactions at any given time and need to trust that things will just get done. It’s rare… and it’s wonderful. Do yourself a favor, use Cost Less.

Our new house also had a TON of prep work in order to get the tent around it. They took care of this, and put everything back in an orderly fashion post-​fumigation.

We had our house fumigated with Cost Less Fumigation and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The tech that came out for the initial inspection thoroughly let us know what we would have to do to prepare for the fumigation. The office staff was extremely helpful throughout the whole process with any questions or concerns we had, especially Lori who was patient with explaining things to my parents. After the fumigation was completed & the tent was removed, Cost Less Fumigation went above and beyond to make sure it was safe to enter our home earlier which was a huge help since our check out time from our hotel was at 11 AM.
If we ever needed to have fumigation done for any of our other properties or friends/​family needed a recommendation, we would not hesitate to say Cost less Fumigation.

I’m still keeping the rating, but I’m gonna give it to you straight (because that’s what I do).
You will, in all likelihood, get an ANT invasion after the termites are dead. My mother-​in-​law had one, and we had one. The ants will find the dead termites and their unborn or just-​hatching eggs (the eggs will still hatch, but the babies will die b/​c there aren’t any adult termites to feed them) and go nuts on the termite nests. Now, I thought that this was a bunch of BS but it appears to be true. So you will find them in your home as well, scouting out for more food for their nests.
There is no way that this could be coincidence. After living in this house for nearly seven years, that was the first time we ever had an ant problem. So keep in mind you’ll have a temporary ant problem and be ready to deal with it!!!

only pro: its cheap, and fast.
cons: terrible company, though there were some issues where we didnt fully comply with their regulations (removal of antennae), they literally broke the antennae off, went into the house after fumigation and saw a bunch of bugs that have never been seen before in the house on the carpet, yards were basically wrecked, and the irrigation system main pipe was broken so we had a fountain coming out of the sprinkers and other sprinkers weren’t functioning. House looked like they basically tried to finish the job ASAP with no respect for owners property.

The seller of the home I purchased had a termite report done, showing presence of drywood termites, but the fumigation price quoted by the company who did that report was rather high. My realtor recommended I contact Cost Less to see if they could give me a better price (she mentioned that other companies often subcontract out to them) — I am glad I did. Peter & Stephanie were very helpful — they gave me a great price, were very flexible & responsive as I tried to time the fumigation date based on my likely close date (I finalized the date on Friday at 4pm, closed on Wednesday morning and the tent was up by mid-​day on Wednesday). I was originally supposed to close on Tuesday but when it slipped to Wednesday morning, they made sure I was in the afternoon schedule so the tent could still go up that day (and that I could still move in by the weekend). After that, everything went very smoothly and by Friday at 4:30pm when I went to the house, my clearance notice was posted. They did all the prep work in addition to the fumigation, so I didn’t have to worry about anything. I am really glad they were recommended to me! Thank you Cost Less for making one piece of the big move so stress-​free.

We had our home inspected by a termite company 3 months back.
We found out there was termites and my wife and I explored couple options. There was this orange oil thing my buddies tried in the past but he told me that it didn’t work at all. Other options to spot treat it but that wasn’t 100% guaranteed. The only option that would be a 100% was to fumigate the house. We were a little iffy with the idea but this seemed like the only option that was guaranteed. Now since we decided on the option we needed to find the right company. We asked around and wanted to use someone who we can trust since this was something we never experienced. In the end we heard a lot good things about costless fumigation from people around so we decided to go with them. They set us up on a date and explained the procedures. Very helpful with all the questions we had. Also met with the owner of the company, John, who was very nice and professional.
We had to leave the house for a couple of days. We were later notified that it was ok to go back in. it’s been 4 months now and no signs on any termites :) The workers did a great job and nothing was damaged as if they were never there. It wasn’t as bad as i thought it would be. The only tedious part was bagging everything up and moving certain things out. but in the end I feel great knowing this was all worth it!!!

I was looking for a fumigation company and my friend recommended this place to me. I don’t see why this business has such a low rating!
First, their office is friendly and really helpful. I had to reschedule a couple times because of some problems and the staff took care of that easily.
Second, they were very thorough. They took me through their steps and all other details that I needed to know.
Third, they were punctual. They arrived right on time and also finished on time. Which was great for me since my family had it done while we were on vacation
Overall I would recommend this place to everyone. I already told my friends about this place. Their staff is great and their fumigation team is also very friendly. Also, the owner, I believe his name is John, is just great. He knew what he was talking about and made sure I understood the details as well.

I hired another Termite company to fumigate my home — they sub-​contracted the work to Cost Less Fumigation. In their documentation, they provide for the homeowner an opportunity to pay extra to have their exterior plants cared for properly to avoid damage. I paid that extra and in return, they provided no additional care, and damaged much of my plant-​life around my home.
I’ve had to have my gardener work on my yard to clean up the trampled plants and trim dead branches and ground-​cover. When I called to explain my displeasure, Doug said he would come out on Saturday with his gardener at 10:00 AM to review the damage with us and determine next steps. Saturday at 10:00 AM came and went with no calls and nobody appearing at my home. I did receive a call from their gardener in the evening asking if he could come by and see the damage. We agreed he could come by on Sunday — and to his credit he did show up on time. I’ve never heard from Doug again. Their gardener replaced my gardenia tree, a potted plant, and my bougainvillea. I give the gardener credit for doing what he could for me — but some of the plants are no where near the size of what they damaged.
I also found brownish colored spots on my carpet in the house right after the fumigation. Doug said he would come out with spot cleaner — but I have no idea what he would use and if he would care for my carpet properly. I declined his offer and will have a professional cleaner come out and treat it properly. He probably wouldn’t show up anyhow — just like he didn’t for the landscaping.
I did receive a follow up call from Lori (August 27^th) to see if I was satisfied. She said that she and the owner do not want anyone to feel unsatisfied with the work the perform and take my displeasure very seriously. I had asked for a refund for the extra I had paid for them to care for my plants and Lori said she would check with the owner and get back to me with an answer. Over two weeks went by and I hear nothing — so I call Lori again.
She tells me that they sent me a check on the 31^st and she tells me it was the very same day we spoke (in fact the 31^st was 4 days later). I asked why she didn’t call me back as she had promised — but she denies that she made that promise to me. I then tell her that I still have not check (almost two weeks from when she says it was sent), and she said, «well, we sent it — and when I say I’m going to do something, I do it.» She was very sarcastic in her response and I felt like there was not much more to gain by having any additional conversation with these people.
I’ve kissed my refund goodbye, and I suggest you kiss them goodbye and don’t give them your business. If you do, I hope you have better luck than I did.

Overall a good experience. They did the work on time and to budget.
Negatives were the office staff were not that friendly. We had to reschedule a few times due to closing delays and then other contractors not performing. I understand this is a pain but Cost Less could have been a little more courteous.
I had some boxes in my house where the move in process had started. They were literally ripped open by fingers and thrown around the garage. There may be a need to look inside the boxes but the mess did not appear it was done with any care. No explanation was given for the search.

It’s rare to encounter a business as personable, professional and efficient as this.
The office staff, have tremendous knowledge, professionalism and patience. They really take the time to explain their paperwork and procedures. They accommodate appointments with ease though they are very popular and busy year-​round.
The crew that performs the fumigation work is courteous and customer-​service oriented. They take the extra time to really make sure the process is done by the book and efficiently. They also take the time to explain at the property what they are doing which is pretty rare for many people and companies in this business. And when it comes right down to it, the job gets done and gets done RIGHT!
In terms of pricing, one would be hard-​pressed to find bids that can compete with theirs. They maintain the same extraordinary level of service for each property.

Good work, responsible and courteous employees. While tenting and fumigating, our patio cover broke. They acknowledged the problem and replaced a new cover within two business days.

Our experience with Costless Fumigation was great. The workers were pleasant, efficient and careful. We had some fragile cactus plants close to the house that the workers were very careful not to harm with the tent.
No one likes to go through termite fumigation, but if it has to be done, Costless does a nice job.
