We are creative consultants helping you stack functions, close the loop, and turn opportunity into substance. Connect with Edible Earth Designs to create long lasting, ecologically vibrant systems that will enrich the world around you today.

History

Established in 2010.

The initial inspiration for a food based landscaping company came from understanding that we all need to eat and we all play role in creating a better, vibrant and healthy world. Our dominant method of food production depends on massive inputs and can be changed to address the serious social and environmental issues it externalizes IF we work to create alternatives together; some of the best solutions to our most serious problems are found in a garden.

Meet the Business Owner

Mark A.

Business Owner

Mark Abraham loves food and loves it fresh. He has been growing in San Francisco connecting with experts in the field for the last eight years.

Taking part in the installation of many edible gardens throughout the city, he has developed an understanding of productive plants, and an appreciation for the city’s unique microclimates.

Having spent time at 18th & Rhode Island Permaculture Farm, networking with both accomplished and up and coming permaculture designers alike, he is excited about the changes he sees everyday; new volunteer gardens getting dug, kids in schools cooking and gardening, and he carries an ethic and political spirit into the field.

Earning his Permaculture Designer’s certificate through the Urban Permaculture Institute of San Francisco in 2010, his focus is educating and growing food with his clients, and finding new connections all around. You can count on him dishing up new recipes, collaborating new ideas in the field, and sharing his experiences with you.
