The UPS Store

The store itself is nice. However, I placed a print order online and came to pick it up. The person behind the counter did not know the print password and I’ve waited 15 minutes for him to find it and am still waiting. He even called the owner. I thought I would be saving time by ordering and paying online but it has taken so much time and really put me behind schedule. The person was trying and was cordial, however very unprepared. This was an unfortunate experience and I won’t likely be back as a result. The paddlers the owner have was wrong. I left without getting my order that I already paid for. Very disappointed.

Absolutely the worst customer service. John the owner is rude, dismissive and over all lazy. He treats his employees like they are disposable people without any sense of loyalty. I would never ever go back.

There are at least two cool people who work here. The rest lie to you or make up excuses about why they can’t find your package. For example, «you might have already picked it up» or «yes it says ‘delivered’ but that means it got delivered to the post office,» or, «yeah, it’s here, on the truck, but we’re not going to go get it while it’s wet outside.» Thanks for the service.

I recently set up an Etsy store for prints of my paintings, but I have yet to figure out the best way to ship them. A younger gentleman who’s name I can’t remember (dang it!) was SO nice and helpful. He carefully boxed it and even bubble wrapped the whole thing. My hero!

Not so good. Someone came in for notary setvice after my packing job had started, and my job got put on hold for 15 minutes No one else could finish my packing and shipping job is seems. But other customers were helped with their shopping jobs y 3 other employeeswhile I waited. No apologies either. No sorry for the wait.

Caution — this UPS Store advertises notary services, but they don’t actually seem to provide them. I’ve gone there 3 times in the last few weeks to get something notarized, only to each time be told «our notary isn’t here» in a curt and dismissive manner. Once I even came back at a time when they said the notary would be in, only to receive the same «not here» response. It’s certainly their right to discontinue notary services, but they should be honest and polite with their customers and stop advertising it on their website if it’s no longer a service they provide.

Called the UPS store Iocated in Hillcrest. Spoke to Enrique who told me it was not a problem getting a receipt for AT&T receivers I needed to drop off. Arrived and helped by Enrique. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes with proof that I dropped off all receivers and provided tracking number.

Went here to drop off my ATT consoles. When I walked in 20 minutes before closing time there was a significantly long line, I thought to myself «this is going to take forever». However, to my surprise it didn’t! I wish I had remembered the gentleman’s name who was working. Anyways, he was great at multitasking and assisting everyone in the line. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. My return was painless and he even told me that ATT can lose things so to make sure I keep the papers of my return with me. I thought it was nice of him to warn me of this. I had great service at this spot!

Super friendly service and helped me find the cheapest shipping option that met my needs. Will definitely be coming here again

The staff here is always helpful and courteous. If you could love a shipping center, you would love this one. I go out of my way to come here because I’m tired of dealing with people that seem to hate their jobs. There must be a nonstop supply of cupcakes and RC car racing in the back because I have never experienced bad service here and they seem to enjoy working here.

I’ve had a mailbox here for yrs now and couldn’t imagine working with another company. They get to know you which just makes it more than a mail stop, shipping establishment. They have a great set of services for my small business. John the owner and all the staff are terrific.
You more than earned my continued business!

The staff was nice and the downfall is advertising as a UPS store and not having the ability to ship on a UPS account. So why call is UPS?

Nice simple location right in the heart of Mission Hills and Hilcrest .alot of services offered here I just stopped in for some quick photo copies but saw they did quite a bit for mail services.
Location is central but parking is limited so keep that in mind before your visit.

Been renting a mail box at this and their previous location on 5^th Avenue for over 12 years. John the owner and his team, especially Susan are the cream de la cream. They always go the extra mile, are friendly and professional. We will be continuing to be there customer for many years to come… keep up the good attitude… and THANK YOU ALL.

UPS, the better alternative to USPS! The convenience UPS provides is why I choose them as my private courier of choice. The prices and ease of use is very nice. This location is an average sized store and is usually busy whenever I go in. What I really like here is the customer service. Though it may take a while to get help if you are waiting in line, the employees do a lot to make sure your transaction runs smoothly. They will help get you the cheapest price and best method of delivery for whatever you’re shipping as well. The only drawback is the wait time when its busy. Also, the location is not all that easy to get to if you’re driving. Considering it’s a very busy part of town, navigation can prove to be a hassle even before you go inside and wait in line. Overall, if you have a package to send, then I recommend using UPS and this location in particular is a great place to get it done! Just be sure to have some time to spare in case you are trying to find parking and/​or waiting in line.

Good store. Parking is a bit difficult at times. Go early. Mailbox is here and staff are always very helpful.

AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! I was mailing a large heavy package this morning (an old beta VCR) and Lisa helped me — she was so personal and kind. She explained everything to me and was so friendly! This is the way service should be! Kudos to this UPS Store — and a role model if you want a happy customer!

Who cares about the hair color, just an observation. At first I thought she was doing her job too, but after I left the store, I thought, hmm, I just told her about my previous experience, and the response I got was that I must have done things wrong. In whose book is that good customer service and being kind? So ya, still stand by the rest of my review. If repeating verbatim what was said to me is flag worthy, then they definitely have the wrong attitude toward customer service.

The UPS store is just super convenient for me due to the location, since my family lives in NorCal I often send gifts to my Nieces & Nephews. I really don’t want to deal with getting in my car and going to the Post Office.
I always get the feeling I’m bothering the staff when I drop off my packages, like they really have better things to do like, text on their cell phones, chat with other customers or just «look busy». Meanwhile I’m standing their with 2 boxes. Last time I was there and I asked for help the 20 something year old wanna be hipster guy just held up a finger to kind of shush me while I’m juggling these boxes.
Someone else did come up and help me but really… was pretty annoying. I would be surprised if he still works there.
