The Cleaning Authority – San Diego

We had very poor service. The cleaners did not come at the agreed emailed time and we were treated rudely after calling about it. They missed one room completely and did not clean our kitchen floor at all. They also destroyed a bath mat and left it in the tub instead of disposing of it and did not inform us of it.
They were receptive to trying to fix the situation so I do appreciate that.

We need a move out cleaning for the rented house. Called them and the guy answered the phone saying the manager will call me back. Waited two days no response. Called again and the guy saying the manager will call me back. No response. What a bummer…

WOW! Incredibly wonderful experience with The Cleaning Authority! Everything from the start to finish was great. Ariel was very communicative up front with setting expectations and explaining the process. He came out to provide an estimate of time for the deep initial clean. The day of our first clean, Cecilia and Cristina, showed up in a timely manner (I was told ahead of time a range for the start time since they were doing another initial clean before ours). They were incredibly professional and courteous and kind. They were even super nice to our dog, who spent a little time following them around to investigate the activity :)
They level of the cleaning far exceeded my expectations! Everything is SO SPARKLY clean! I almost lost my mind when I walked through the kitchen and saw them scrubbing the outsides of the cabinets and cleaning the grill in our range hood fan. Our house is cleaner than when we first moved in. Cobwebs gone. Scum I thought was permanent in the shower gone. Water mineral buildup on the kitchen sink gone. I seriously don’t have a single thing to point out that was not taken care of. This was such a treat after a terrible experience with Handy, which almost scared me away from the concept of having someone clean our house completely!
Oh, and the cherry on sundae is that they use all GREEN products too. Yay!
Thanks so much for doing an amazingly incredible job and treating our home like it was your own with the attention to detail and care! You have won us over! We can’t wait to share you with our friends!

Everyone I’ve been in contact with has been so nice and helpful. Ariel came to our house to go over the service, schedule, and pricing, very nice guy. I really like the list of what they clean and how there is a deep clean rotation. We have dogs and cats and kids, so it is such a help to have this service. The ladies who come in do such a great job, they work so hard and somehow keep smiling. It is awesome, I would highly recommend them.

The Cleaning Authority is like pressing the reset button. I just moved out of a house that I rented for the past 5 years. I got my full deposit back because their team did an excellent job at deep cleaning! Refrig, oven, scrubbed walls and floors. The place looked new when I had left.
The owner gave me an accurate fair estimate beforehand so there were no surprises in the end. Excellent job. Definitely worth it!

Got a cleaning service for a 2bed/​2bath apartment today. I was somewhat skeptical and worried because the dirt level of my bathrooms were high. However, my housemates and I am very pleased with the service. Bathrooms are perfectly clean, carpet cleaning is done nicely, and the rooms are cleaned as well. The ladies were nice, and their customer service was good!

Great service, very professional. And the satisfaction guarantee is legit. I have been using them for several months now and highly recommend them to anybody looking for DEPENDABLE service.

I asked that they clean my 90 year old mother-​in-​laws home. She has never had anyone clear her home and was apprehensive. Sara and Chuey (sp??) are amazing. They did a fabulous job on both cleanings. They are patient and kind. They treated my mother-​in-​laws items (you can imagine… many many small figurines, etc.) with care. The home is spotless and dust free. Smells lovely! They only use eco friendly products — an added bonus.
We are scheduling every two weeks with pleasure. We highly recommend The Cleaning Authority — who will treat your home as if it were theirs — with attention to detail and kindness.

As one of their first clients in San Diego and continued customers I have got to say every time they come and I walk in my front door I am so pleased about how my home looks. Ariel and his team do everything they can to make coming home one of the greatest parts of my day. if you’d really like to have a great job done on your home give them a call they’re well worth every penny. number one fan.

Very pleased with the service. Was initially hesitant to trust a company that was newer (no reviews yet, etc) but I found Ariel to be very dedicated and serious about the success of his company. He spoke highly about the people that he hired, he showed up promptly for the walk through, and he was very observant as well. When I had a concern, Ariel and his wife showed up the next day to address it. Always hard to leave a key with someone you don’t know, but I was very pleased with my weekly cleanings with them. I looked forward to walking in the days they cleaned, and breathing a sigh of relief at my clean home. The cost was very appropriate for the service.

I’ve been very happy with the service provided by this company, and the prices are very fair. Not being used to a cleaning service, I was a little nervous and uncomfortable at first, definitely having that feeling of, «I need to clean up before the cleaners come…» After the first regular visit, those feelings of anxiety faded.
I’m not one to need green cleaning supplies used in my home — in fact, I’ve always been partial to harsh chemicals because I feel like they do the job best. However, TCA uses green products and everything is always sparkling and fresh.
I LOVE having a clean bathroom and kitchen, in particular. I like that they take out the garbage, fold the toilet paper (a nice touch!) and dust everything well. I have a cat who is a bit of a spaz, and I always worry that he’s going to be freaked out by the cleaners, but aside from once getting shut in a room, he’s been fine.
Ariel and his wife are nice people who seem to genuinely care about making a positive impression and providing superior service. They are just getting off the ground and seem to be hitting their stride. Ariel is very responsive to emails and texts.
The Cleaning Authority is a welcome new addition to San Diego’s home cleaning market. I think we’ll see great things from them.

I’ve actually been waiting for a Unilocal page for this business for a few months. I’ve been using them ever since I received an advert from my roommates. We had all gotten tired of cleaning our 3 man bachelor pad and it was starting to consume far more time than we had to spend on such things. Ariel (who owns this business) came in to do an estimate very well dressed and ended up giving all three of us a very detailed presentation of the services offered as well as answering all of our questions and concerns.
He met our dog who was very calm around him and he told us he had pets as well so he was very comfortable around her. I walked him through our place and showed him all of the ahem… how to say it… various levels of cleanliness around the house. He took very detailed notes with a very detailed (and non judging) eye and assured me he had the right crew and tools for the job.
The first clean that was done was a very deep, thorough clean of the Kitchen and bathrooms, which would test the mettle of *any* cleaning service. When I came home from work, I discovered I had an island in my kitchen, empty, spotless stainless steel sinks and a floor that I could walk confidently on barefoot.
The bathrooms were even more breathtaking… The collection of dirt, grime and other horrid looking uh… you get the picture… was gone. My bathroom was not only acceptable but I called my girlfriends over to inspect it right away and they were nothing short of shocked with the transformation.
Every time I walk into the house after cleaning day my room is perfect, my bed is made with fresh linen, the trash is all gone and properly sorted for recycling vs not. This goes for my other two roommates as well. There are always satisfied smiles, a knowing chuckle, looks of awe and a very palpable quality of living increase that we each feel when we take a look around.
The price is very competitive, the cleaning products used are all eco friendly and the crew’s pride in their work and passion for keeping our house meticulously clean is felt for weeks after they’re done. We have them come in twice a month and will continue to do so going forward. This is an outstanding service! ³⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend!
