Seven Seas Adventures

Going to keep this short and simple. If you’re in San Diego come here! I took my boyfriend out for a private sunset sail. SO romantic. Bobbi was SO knowledgeable and really took the time and effort to make it special. I would do this over again with a few of our close friends. The weather was PERFECT while we drank champagne and chilled out of the Kia Ora. I can not wait to come back again! Thank you again Bobbi for everything!

I have been out on Seven Seas Adventures catamarans 3 times. Every time was great! Bobbi is a great host and I have never felt safer on the water. If you want to participate he will be glad to show you the «ropes». If you just want to relax and have a drink on the trampoline he is cool with that too. The catamarans have always been spotless, plenty of room to store your belongings and very comfortable. I would highly recommend Seven Seas Adventures if you are wanting to sail while in San Diego. I know I will be going again!

I can’t say enough about this company and the experience. Friends we here from Scotland and I wanted to provide a special experience on the water. I found Seven Seas on the internet and booked a 3 hour tour on a catamaran. Bobby provided me with a parking pass and detailed information about what to wear and what to expect on the boat tour.
On the day of the tour we were met by our captain at the Pier and given a thorough safety briefing. The catamaran was very clean and tastefully decorated and had a cooler of water and soft drinks. We brought our own food and drinks and created a nice buffet in the galley. The tour took us around the harbor, under the Coronado bridge and past the ships of the Maritime Marine. The skipper was very knowledgeable and courteous made the tour even more special.
Some of our party wanted to hang out and talk with the skipper about sailing and San Diego while others relaxed in the sun up front on on the chairs and bean bags.
I have now done this tour twice and each occasion was equally as special. Incredible way to see the bay and fantastic value for money, having the boat to ourselves and only $ 75 per head.
This was the highlight of my Sottish friends vacation and an experience I will be repeating again.

I planned this for a proposal and it was one of my best decisions I’ve made. That was the comment I received from my fiancée afterwards.
So I started by inquiring with Bobbi who runs the operation and he was super super helpful he wanted this moment to be very special and was genuine in his efforts. He gives you numerous options to make it special. I didn’t have many requests but Bobbi made sure they were all met.
On to the sail. Captian Kevin was Awesome. I would request him if you book the sail. He had a great personality and helped me make it a wonderful surprise. We also had Anthony on board who helped with photos and was a pleasure to work with. The captain was engaging and continously made sure everything was okay with our trip. It was only 3 hours but my fiancée and I felt like it was 4 – 5 hours. Time kind of stood still. The sunset sail is beautiful and having the catamaran was perfect because they have a trampoline up front with bean bags where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful calm waters with an amazing background.
I would give these guys ten stars if I could. I was very impressed and overall had an amazing time. They were very genuine which is the best part nobody seemed fake. Awesome time and the lady absolutely loved it.

On our final night in San Diego we took the Sunset sail and it was the best way to close out our vacation. Our captain, Lance, was great, gave us a great tour of the San Diego harbor, pointed out some great spots along the bay that were not to be missed, and made us feel comfortable and safe to enjoy the 3+ hours on the bay.
Definitely opt for the Sunset sail to get the best views of San Diego at night, and a gorgeous sunset to boot! LOVED IT!!!

Last weekend my beau & I experienced a San Diego Bay Sunset Cruise aboard one of their Catamarans. I’ve toured the bay on numerous types of boats, but never a sunset, nor with Seven Seas. We had a great time. Captain Bobbi was informative, friendly and courteous. The cat was well maintained and fully equipped. There is ample space aboard for the guests. We simply brought our prepared picnic and kicked it on the Cat net across the bow. Bobbi checked on us periodically to ensure we were good, see if we needed anything. All was well. The whole excursion was so peaceful and relaxing, Just what the Dr ordered.

Captain Bobby took us on an exciting adventure sailing in San Diego. We were also interested in learning how to sail. Bobby was an excellent and patient instructor. We felt very comfortable and safe with his instructions. Somehow I got plenty of time at the helm while my wife was busy trimming the sails. Bobby was also very informative about the history of the San Diego Bay area. It was a very special afternoon on board. I highly recommend seven seas adventures.

Decided to do the sunset cruise and what an experience it was. The weather was perfect. The boat ride with captain Bob exceeded our expectation. His knowledge and tour narration was informative and entertaining. Also, sitting in front of the boat with my girlfriend was great and one of those perfect moments. Will do the sail again.

We had the most fun time on the sunset cruise. We did this for our Anniversary and had the BEST time of our life.
We own a boat here in San Diego Bay, but taking this cruise while someone else was in charge, was GREAT. Bobby was so friendly and knows his stuff and everything about the bay.
We will do this again and will bring friends and pass the word around.

We took the sunset tour with my in — laws. It was an almost 3 hour private catamaran adventure and probably the most relaxing thing I’ve done in San Diego.
We brought on some comfort food (pizza and wine) but they provided water and soft drinks as well.
Not only was the ride fun, but watching the sunset, then seeing the San Diego skyline light up at night was the best from that perspective. Our captain was so knowledgeable about everything relating to the bay, San Diego and even local eateries. He was considerate enough to know how much to talk and when to just let us chill.
My father in law paid of course but I know the price was reasonable. This is so far the most enjoyable thing we have done since moving here one year ago.

I’ve gone out on the Seven Seas Adventures catamarans twice & had a great time. Their catamarans are beautiful & the captains were professional & fun. I also belong to a meetup group that Bobbi from Seven Seas runs & they’ve had some great events. Highly recommend!

I have been sailing with the people who lead Seven Seas Adventures for the last two years on various bay/​ocean sails. I can tell you that the people who run these cruises are real pros. They are professional, friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Some days the boats go out in the ocean for whale and dolphin watching and some days/​evenings they stay in the bay — whatever the passengers want to do! Seven Seas also leads private cruises for special occasions like weddings and family/​corporate get-​togethers.
Also, as a licensed US Coast Guard captain, Captain Bobbi is one of the most knowledgeable, safety-​conscious, and capable sailors you will find in Southern California. I recommend Seven Seas Adventures without hesitation and I can’t wait to sail with them again for another first-​class experience!

Invited to a friend’s 27^th bday party with Seven Seas Adventures and had an amazing time. We largely had a blast because of the 9 fun girls in our group, but Seven Seas also had a lot to do with us being able to focus on enjoying ourselves.
There were one of the most affordable sailing services around and the customer service was fantastic. Before arriving everyone was given an email with instructions and a parking pass. Dock C could have had better signage, but it wasn’t difficult to find. Two catamarans were ready to set sail by the time we arrived. Each catamaran was only allowed to carry 6 people at a time so our group had to split up while sailing, but when we dropped anchor on the other side of the bay we were allowed to go on whichever catamaran we liked.
Both Captains were affable people. They had us signing hard copy and ipad forms, then gave us the rules up front. I felt like they were very experienced and had nothing to worry about. We learned some sea & boat terminology, there was plenty of temperature controlled storage space for the perishable items we brought on. We had a potluck and everyone brought something! The only items prohibited are anything that could stain the boat so red wine and grape juice. Other than that the entire boat was ours to make ourselves at home.
We mostly enjoyed taking pictures all over the boat, our captain was more than willing to be the cameraman. He even paid attention to where the best lighting was which I feel is incredibly considerate. We hung out in the lounge area with all the food and drinks for awhile and then a lot of us went to the front of the boat to enjoy the nice November weather. Judge San Diego by its winters not its summers.
There was a great iphone dock to plug in our music to. Although the boat had it’s own playlist, the captain warned not all the songs are the best. I’m sure he gets tired of hearing the same thing all the time. Our captain was a part owner of the boat and thus really took care of it. Everything was nice, clean and enjoyable. You really get your money’s worth!
Our entire trip went from 1pm to about 5 or 6pm on a Sunday and we went from the side of the bay nearest the airport, across the bay which how the majority of our time was spent. The trip coming back went around the star of India and all those famous seaport village, fish market, navy warships and submarine must-​sees, you get great views of the city the entire time and it’s such a fun trip whether you want to relax or turn up or both!
The only reason I give them 4 out of 5 stars was there seemed to be some miscommunication about payment and what services would be provided between the captains and the birthday girl who set everything up. As just an attendee though, I give them 5 stars because I had only the best time! A couple girls vowed to come back and use this exact company for their boat party plans so Seven Seas will have some repeat customers.

If you’re looking for a great catamaran sailing experience then this is the place! I’ve sailed with Seven Seas quite a few times now and it’s Always a blast!
I may be a bit of a catamaran snob though and, for me, there simply is no other option in San Diego. Regardless of options the experiences have been top shelf with Captain Bobbi and Captain Lance always doing more than you’d expect to ensure a great time.
There’s just something really special about sailing around San Diego on a catamaran. It makes me feel like I’m thousands of miles away from my busy week.

Rented paddle boards here with a group of friends and the entire staff was super friendly and very educated!
I was talking to one of the guys and he was saying they are in the process of getting their sailing certification programs back up! Sounds like fun, and ill definitely be looking into that in a couple months.
Would totally recommend this place, amazing views of San Diego’s skyline from here

Seven Seas Adventures is the best! 5 Stars for Seven Seas Adventures; great rates for renting kayaks, stand up paddleboards, catamaran, plenty of parking and a great location on Harbor Island drive! Bobby and Lance are so helpful with my SUP rentals everytime I come to rent. They’re very informative with how to use the equipments and which routes to take to enjoy the best while kayaking and paddleboarding.
My friend and I decided to be adventurous and paddleboarded from Seven Seas all the way out to Seaport Village! Which was so fun! Don’t ask us why, but we were feeling quite adventurous and enjoyed every bit of the view of downtown and paddleboarding. We definitely worked out our arms if we paddled for 3 miles! Of course we started late which we didn’t get to paddle back the 3 miles, darn! So we took Flex transportation back to Seven Seas. When we got back, Lance was out on a mission on his jetski looking for us since we were out for about 2.5 hours. Sorry, Lance! But anyway, as you can see, they’re very helpful and definitely will care for your safety haha.
I recommend to come here for any rentals like kayaks, paddleboards or even catamarans. Best rates and best location!
