Great food and service. I found these guys on line. Delicious!!! Everyone loved the food and the service. Our cook was the owners son and did an excellent job. I wish I could remember his name. Would highly recommend these guys anytime. I would definitely hire them again.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! If there was a zero rating I would give that! Oh how I wish I could review their food but they NEVER showed up. I booked this company On April 26^th, 2016 for a graduation party that was taking place on June 11^th. This company was listed as both Party Time Tacos and EZ Pour Drinks, per my confirmation e-​mail! Contacted Tracy several times and have the e-​mail back up. I was contacted twice to confirm the date, place, and time. I was assured that they would be there. I called and left several messages the day of the event to ask where they were. No Answer!!! I am not surprised. My friends and family called and No response. I called both Tracy and the other girl who confirmed. Both numbers and no answer! I had to rush out to grab pizzas and other food items. Thank goodness I had the foresight to make sure I had finger foods!!! Bad business I don’t wish ill on people but you won’t be in business for long with this type of service there are many other companies that could do this! Shame on you!!! I will be letting everyone I know who is looking for food trucks NOT to use you!

Great food & Service! I was referred to Party Time Tacos through a friend who has used them several times. I called, with only a weeks notice before my party and they were able to make it happen! We had 40 people here and I can safely say I saw everyone go up for a plate of food at least twice. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and the grilled onion and jalapeños are excellent!
Lucy called the day before to confirm everything which I thought was very professional and Tony answered any questions I had in the beginning. Our chef that day was, Finne (not sure on the spelling) but he was kind, professional and made great tacos. I highly recommend this company because we had such a great experience with them!

Very un-​professional! Booked him about a month ago for our daughters graduation party. He gave us a quote and we accepted. Four days before the party Tony called to confirm the party date and amount of people. Everything was good until Lucy called three days before and told us we have to pay a travel fee. We told her that Tony never said anything about a travel fee. She said that’s fine and hung up. Tony called back with an attitude and said he assumed we were closer. We said that was not our mistake. We asked if he could take ½ off the travel and he said «Nope!» He said «if you can’t afford it then we should call someone else.» Bottom line, bad attitude, cocky, and unprofessional. And yes Tony, we found someone in 15 min!!!

Party Time Tacos did an awesome job at serving all 180 guest at my wedding a couple weeks back. VERY good food, everyone loved it. Lucy & Tony kept in contact with me, answered all my questions and needs in a timely manner. We will be using them again! Thank you.

We just hired party time tacos for a small birthday party. All of our guests were very satisfied with how the food tasted and the service. Hannah showed up 15 mins early and had everything set up by the time agreed. She was also very courteous and professional. We also got to keep the left overs. I’d definitely recommend their services.

I hired this company for my son’s birthday. I am extremely disappointed for several reasons:
(1) When they came in, they didn’t even have a table for the food that they cooked. They had to take the 2 tables that I rented for our guests.
(2) Before our guests were told that they could eat, there were 2 guys in their mid 20’s that came in and were served food while our guests were waiting and wondering why they can not eat yet. When I asked them who they were, they told me that they are the sons of the chefs from Party Time Tacos. When I got quoted and paid for Party Time Tacos, i did not expect to pay for the food for the male and female chefs plus their their 2 grown-​up children. When they quoted me per person, I did not know that I was supposed to add 4 people to my head count for chefs and their families.
(3) Before they left, the male chef even took a huge piece of the cake to bring home to his family.
(4) Before writing this review, I contacted Tony via text and told him that I was extremely disappointed and I have enumerated my reasons. He told me that he was currently driving to LA but he will surely contact me tonight so we can talk about it. However, I I never received a call from him.
The purpose of my review is to just give an honest feedback to what I experienced during my son’s party. Hopefully, it will never happen to you or at least you’ll reconsider ibefore you hire this company.

We used party time tacos for a birthday party for 50 people. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Really not much more to say. Would recommend them to anyone looking for taco catering and I will have them at the top of my list if I need to cater again.

Ok tony it seems like every time people write a bad review its someone elses fault. The fact that you wrote your comment 4 months later of course you wont remember us. Well if you managed to read my review we did talk to you about this issue. You assured that he was not going to be working longer and also you did refund us 50 bucks. Take responsibility for your damn company and stop blaming other people and customers. That is bad buisness practices. *be aware of this company*. You are not satisfied with there services its somehow the customers fault. Trust me there are plenty of great taqueros to go than this one. Pm me and i will give out there number

Most of the guests explained that the food was good. A few said they didn’t like the rice. I did alot of researching on companies and decided that this company had desent reviews and compared to the rest this was the company to go with. I will say that the derogatory reviews are pretty much right. They showed up LATE, and finally got to venue due to my maid of honor contacting them. They rushed to prepare food but still served late in comparison to time frame we were promised and in contract signed and agreed to. And like other reviews they left early! Also I emailed the company of complaints and NEVER received any type of response.

We hired them for a party event we had last weekend. I was very disappointed in the service they provided. We had the most horrible customer service from Tony the owner. The young couple they sent to do the job were not friendly nor the food they serve was the greatest. So I called/​emailed Tony the fact that I wasn’t happy with the service food they provided to my guest. This fool calls me at 9pm on a Saturday to tell me that I was a Mexican that didn’t know better and I was a liar! I was appalled and insulted by his action. A simple sorry could have been fine but to call me late at night and argue with me on how I just wanted to take advantage of them. I will never ever hire them or recommend them to anyone. He is an idiot and unprofessional.

This review is solely based the booking of this company, not the food BECAUSE THEY NEVER SHOWED UP.
My mother booked Party time Tacos for our joint baby shower in March 2015. She filled out the form on their website and talked to Tony twice about exactly what food was included and how much to order for a party of 100 guests. Our shower was on a Saturday and she had spoke to Tony on the Thursday before about the reservation. Saturday came and Party Time Tacos failed to show up. When we called Tony, he seemed confused and had no recollection of our reservation. We had to forward him emails to jog his memory and after a couple of phone calls back and forth, he finally admitted that they had lost the reservation or double booked. In an email, he apologized and wrote «send me the bill for the pizza». (which we had ordered in panic to feed all of our guests).
When my husband called Tony a couple days later about where to send the pizza receipt, he was furious claiming that my mom had never followed the procedure and that he wasn’t going to pay for it. Tony was upset, cursing and told him that his lawyer would be speaking to us if we took him to small claims. My husband told him he was acting ridiculous, then out of desperation Tony yelled well i’m gong to sue you for elder abuse. My husband asked how, and Tony responded with «because you’re upsetting me». Not sure how old Tony is but crazy enough to claim elder abuse as an excuse.

These guys and gals are amazing! We had guests from all over the US and they loved the food/​service. Going to use them again in October and everyone is so excited!!! Awesome job!!! Thanks so much!!!
Had them out again and Hannah was our host. Amazingly awesome once again!

They actually arrived 30 minutes earlier than planned and stayed the whole 3 hours like promised.
Their prices are very reasonable per person. If there’s any left overs, they will leave it for you. I just wish they had sour cream and cheese available.
Who doesn’t love AYCE tacos? Our guests loved it and there never was a long line because they worked fast.
I would highly recommend them for your next party if you don’t feel like cooking!

I hired Party Time Tacos to cater my wedding. They showed up on time and were amazing! Those ladies were professional, fun and gave our guests everything they could have asked for. It was SO hot yesterday, and they were catering for an outdoor wedding. They had smiles on their face the entire time. I cannot express how grateful I am for their amazing service!
The food. Omg. Where do I begin with the food! Let’s just say this, one guest ate 12 tacos. Then came back this morning for breakfast– which I made using the leftovers they packaged up for me.
So not only did they make an amazing meal for our wedding, and packaged it all up afterward, but they put it in my fridge neatly and cleaned up after themselves.
Would I hire them again? In a heartbeat!

Party Time Tacos catered my housewarming party. I give them 3.5 stars. I contacted them via email to see if they were available the day of my party & the responded so quick!
The day of my party, they showed up an hour late & they tried to leave early. We told them we paid for a certain amount of hours so they stayed longer. The food was pretty good… just a little too salty.
The prices for food & service was really good! I was happy the tacos came with rice, beans, pollo, carne asada & adobada along with all the fixings, plates & utensils. The best was I got to keep all the leftovers, which was A LOT! We fed a lot of family & friends for the next several days.

I’ve actually had Party Times Tacos at both large corporate events and a wedding reception. Both times had great tacos and service.
— I would recommend these guys for a fun /​stomach stuffing event.
— The line moves, but it can get long and a bit slow.
— Plenty of tacos! Tip — you can ask for 4, so you better do it because the line is kinda slow.
— You can get as many tacos as you like.
— Don’t skimp out on the salsas and veg that they provide with your tacos.
— You can have them make quesadillas for you if you’re not into meat.

Excellent. Toni’s son, Paul? Arrived right on time he was courteous and professional. He set everything up on his own and got right to work. Just like their website states they brought 3 kinds of meat, all the fixings and even plates and utensils.
The taco bar was a hit and the tacos were delicious. The quesadillas were a hit with the kids. I would definitely use them again and many of my friends asked for his info.
At the end, he packaged all the left overs before leaving.

We had them cater our sons 1^st bday party! Food was delicious and so much toppings I love it! Grilled green onions, radishes, cilantro, lime yummy variety of salsas, guacamole (chunky with a bunch of avocados pieces) yummy!!! Tortilla chips were soooo good. Oh! And flour quesadillas!!! Soooo good! The only only only thing was the chicken was a tiny tiny bit salty but other than that everything was amazing!
The staff who came wanted to be referred as the two white girls lol so there you go. They were both friendly and nice always had plenty of food to serve.
Lastly, the leftovers! We got to keep and there was tons! Almost a whole tray of chicken and carne left with ALL the side items and over 5 dozen corn tortillas! Score!
We will definitely have them in the future!

Great experience! We just threw a fundraising event last Saturday with over 100 people and we wanted a great tasting, affordable meal that offered vegetarian options. After a lot of research, I found Lucy’s Party Time Tacos.
Tony offers a monthly open house so that people interested in trying the food before booking can give them a whirl. Although we had already booked, I still went to the open house and got to meet Tony, Lucy, and their crew as well as Tracy, the frozen drink lady. Everyone there is great — they all work so well together and you can tell Tony and Lucy care about and have a great relationship with their employees. At the tasting, we confirmed that the food was on-​point and it was helpful to know what sort of fixins to expect on the day of our event.
Lucy and a co-​worker (Elizabeth, I think?) worked our event on Saturday at the dog park in La Mesa. They were on-​time, cooked up a great meal, provided great friendly service, and we still had an abundance of food to take home and enjoy after the event! Everyone commented about how great the food was. I’m not a vegetarian, but Tony really hyped up the vegetarian tacos over the phone and at the tasting, so I was sure to try them at our event. OMG! They were great!!! –And, having the veggie option which serves 35 really cut our food costs down, too!
I am very happy that I saw beyond some of the bad Unilocal reviews and gave them a chance, because I was not disappointed! I would definitely come back to Lucy and Tony for future personal and professional events I’m planning! THANK YOU ALL!
