I reached out to L5 Drywall for a quote regarding a large hole in a 8ft ceiling (someones leg went through it). I then received a detailed statement of work with an estimate within a few hours. Armando was able to come out the same day and perform the work and it looks perfect. You can’t even tell that there was a hole there at one point.
I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for outstanding customer service with a quick resolution to drywall needs.

Great company. They always show up on time and gave extremely competitive bid. The work done was great and looks like part of the original layout. I had them put up a new wall and put in a door. Everything is holding up well and they finished in half of the time they estimated. The most important thing is for a contractor to get the job done right, but finishing early is a bonus! His crew came and just went to work. There was no slacking and they had suggested I bring my electrician in so that they would be able to get everything done the same day. I followed their advice and couldn’t be happier with the results!

Armando did a great job for me on a laundry closet drywall repair. Not only that, he helped me by fitting my small job into his tight schedule, so that the drywall could be repaired before the new washer and dryer arrived.
The repair was flawless, no seams are visible on the wall. And after I painted, it is really impossible to tell where on the wall the patch was done, it all blends so beautifully. I really appreciated his high quality of work. He obviously takes pride in a job well done, and wants to make sure that all jobs, big or small, are done to the same high standard.
I appreciated that his quote was reasonable, he didn’t take advantage of the fact that I was in a hurry to get the patch repaired.
Will definitely use his services again, and will recommend him to my neighbors.

I spoke with «Armando» about 1 week prior to set up an appointment. He was able to patch up my ceiling drywall repair just before Thanksgiving. Whew, just in time with family coming over!
Armando and his apprentice arrived on time and we’re professional. I showed him the damage and Armando was on it!
The area repaired was 12“x19″ and 6“x6″. The area was taped off and plastic put down. Armando began the demolition and got area prepped for drywall installation. Attention to detail was great. Light fixture and smoke detector taped off. Apprentice applied mud, Armando applied texture to match existing. Overall…
I am extremely pleased with professional job. The price was reasonable and from beginning to end approximately 1 ½ hr. I highly recommend «L5 Plus Drywall!
By the way, he beat local estimates.

Three weeks ago I found I had a hot slab leak. My hot water pipe was re-​routed via my ceiling (LR to Kitchen). I checked Unilocal and found great reviews for L5 Plus Drywall. I contacted Armando via email and he came out to my place on MLK holiday. He gave me a quote and it was within my budget. Armando and his crew came out yesterday and completed the job within 8 hours (as stated on my quote). They arrived promptly, covered up everything with plastic. They covered the walkway to my house with plastic as well. I stayed upstairs all day while they worked. I was quite surprised to see the finished product. I am extremely happy with the end result. Armando and his crew cleaned up everything, including the space where they were parked. The job does come with a warranty. Armando said if I notice any cracks, etc, to give him a call right away and they will fix it. My hot water slab ordeal is over. No more holes in the walls and ceilings. I highly recommend Armando and L5 Plus Drywall.

I needed some dry wall worked on in my house. There was a big hole from where a child had thrown an object. I called them to get it patched out, and they really helped me out in that regard. Very quick service and they did really solid work. The texture was perfect and they made it look identical it really blended in. I’d definitely use them again.

Armando and his crew are top notch, extremely professional. They were always on time, kept to his quote, started and finished when he said they would. They added drywall to enclose a large loft. They were meticulous, draping the ceiling, stairs, furniture, so there was not a speck of dust left behind.
Our house has a second floor and ceiling that is higher than most two story homes. These young men work quietly and deftly on ladders that required significant focus.
We needed these three large cutouts to match the opposite wall. There work was perfect. It looked like the builder had intended it to look this way. Now we have an extra bedroom.
If you want someone who will do a splendid job, and demonstrate the discipline of a true pro, call L5 Plus drywall. It is heartening to experience work of this caliber.

Armando and his crew just finished up a patching and resurfacing job on our kitchen remodel. I am happy with the results.
Armando was easy to communicate with, had quick follow-​up, was flexible on my timeline, and listened to what I needed.
His services were reasonably priced, they completed the job very quick and cleaned up afterwards. Armando gives you the quote on site when assessing the job, which is really nice.
There were a few areas of some air bubbles after the spackle settled, but a quick text to Armando and he came quick to correct it.

We had to tear apart some drywall to fix a leaking pipe and hired L5 to put it all back together. It was a fairly small job but a little complicated– several patches, one spot working around a pipe and behind a toilet, and matching nice new texture. I got 3 quotes for the job, all from companies with 5-​star Unilocal reviews. L5 came in the lowest by a significant amount, and Armando was the only one to visit the house to give the quote which gave me confidence that he knew exactly what the job required (the other companies quoted by photo).
The day of the job Armando showed up right on time and was courteous and professional (and nice to my kids to boot!) He was very generous with the plastic «cloth», put it down all over the place to keep everything clean. He and his coworker finished within the time promised and did great work, no way to tell where the old wall stops and the repaired wall starts.
Very happy with them and will hire them again if we ever need more drywall work.

L5 Plus is a certification for smooth wall drywall. It is very difficult to achieve and requires a real talent.

I had water damage in my ceiling, and wanted it repaired correctly. The problem I have is my ceiling is 30 feet long and 15 feet wide, all open. How do you ‘blend’ that? Armando and his professionals did just that. They replaced the stained drywall (at my request) and refinished the entire ceiling. IT LOOKS BETTER THAN EVER!
The estimate was very fair and competitive — yet he still gave me a price break. Im not saying he will quote you one price and charge lower. In my case it turned out to be a little less work than anticipated. I know some contractors may stick with the initial higher estimate.
Even the crown-​moulding guys and the painters mentioned how nice the new ceiling was.
Let that be your guide when choosing a drywall team to help in you next project, emergency, or remodel.

Without a doubt the best drywallers I have ever hired. Armando and his crew did two jobs for me about 2 years apart. He remembered me after 2 years. First job involved soundproofing a common wall using Green Glue. Wall came out perfect and definitely made a difference. Second job involved replacing some water damaged drywall and soundproofing another wall with Green Glue. They did an excellent job again.
Bottom line, the work is outstanding, Armando and his crew are professional, they are fast and efficient, and they are reasonably priced.

I had a house with extensive cracking/​peeling on the ceiling & upper walls. Due to water leakage, the paint/​plaster was coming off in large sheets, and I was in absolute despair: I had little money — did I have to live in a house that looked like abandoned property?
Then, a friend gave me Armando’s number. I called, he came over the next day (or was it the same day?) to give me an estimate (WOOHOO, I could afford to fix it!), & a day later, he arrived ON TIME, and made my nightmare go away in two days!
His work was professional, fast, and did I mention affordable?
