DAD Pavers

Bill came out and did an estimate. He was very rude and unprofessional… When asked what shape of area to quote for, he insulted my wife by calling her idea «boring.» He was very pushy with wanting an answer of whether we wanted the job done. He assumed we didn’t like his price when in all reality we didn’t like his cocky attitude. He then tried to persuade us by saying «don’t you want your friends to see something nice… nothing nice comes cheap.» He continued on with subtle insult after insult. Bill may do nice work, but there are other companies that deserve our business, are professional, and can the job done. If this is his attitude at this stage, imagine what it would be if something went wrong on the job and we weren’t satisfied. NO THANK YOU!

We could not be happier with the work and service of Dad’s pavers. Daniel came out and gave a fair estimate. The job started right on schedule and finished ahead of the schedule. The crew were professional and very hard working. Each detail was thought through carefully and the finished job looks awesome. We’d hire Dad’s pavers again in a heart beat.

After we stopped watering our front & rear lawn due to water restrictions, we couldn’t live with our yard anymore & got 3 bids to renovate after 20 years in our home. We found Bill, Daniel & crew from an ad in get 1 free magazine & Bill handled our bid with all the patience of a true pro, ultimately handling our job after coming in thousands below other bids. We «bought» as opposed to him «selling» which was refreshing. Bill followed up regularly on the job, sometimes kicking in physical time and effort out of a commitment to the end result, even tho slammed with other work. We never felt abandoned by our primary contact with DAD Pavers and that left an impression. The owner was on the job himself most days and that made us feel the commitment to good work as well, especially with how well he ran his professional crew.
With a ½ acre of mostly dead lawn & weeds, it was a complete overhaul including pavers, sitting walls, artificial turf, a putting green, mulch and plants. The job started on time, finished on time on on budget with the entire crew both professional and knowledgable, leaving little hassle for us– a good thing since we had no experience in the area of landscape construction.
We especially appreciated the mid job patience shown since we added along the way as we could see the progress & had extra ideas. This team reacted each time, helping us make sound decisions and speedily completing each part with great regard for us as homeowners trying to maintain a normal life during construction. Clean and professional!
Strange to say it, but since the team was so polite and friendly, we were almost sorry when the job came to an end, since we wouldn’t see our friends on a daily basis.
We are grateful and now enjoy our yard each and every day. A great investment in lifestyle and future resale value.
I don’t write Unilocal reviews unless I feel strongly about a company’s performance, so this is rare. I’ll try and upload photos if anyone would like to see the work and I’ve encouraged DAD Pavers to use us as a reference.

Okay… I admit it… I am a bit picky when it comes to paying for something. I expect it to be perfect. Well DAD hit the mark! These guys are great to work with and go out of their way to make the job just as specified. No surprises, clean, a very fair price and just a good bunch of guys doing their best to do professional work. Bill was the only sales person to come to our house and listen to what we wanted. Very personable and understanding. He epitomizes the phrase «the customer is alway right.» We really appreciate working with Bill and you will too. The paver installer, Fransisco, was great to work with. Always eager to please and a very hard worker. Pavers are rustic in nature but he was able to create great cuts and created something amazing. The cleanup crew did a great job too. They left the place better than it was found. I have a high regard for DAD pavers and they are highly recommended.

Just completed a front and backyard remodel with DAD Pavers. It was a pleasure working with Bill and his team. He was responsive and always addressed questions and concerns in a timely manner. We used the Hero Program and they handled all necssary paperwork. Project was completed on time with a short deadline. Very happy and satisfied with the process and service. Would highly recommend.

This is the 3^rd time we’ve used Bill and his team to Pave our front and back yard and they did an amazing job. We hired Bill again to build some steps for our new room addition as well as an expansion of our walk way. They’re professional, courteous and our steps and walkway look awesome.

DAD Pavers did a perfect job for us! Bill was great right from the beginning, came up with great ideas and was excited about the project. Everything was explained, on time, and very price competitive with the other estimates I got. Several items Bill suggested ended up making the project that much better, things I would never have thought of. All of my neighbors made comments about how hard working the crews were, how amazing they were at cleaning up each day, and what incredible work was done. They put in turf and pavers around my entire front and back yard and I am incredibly happy. Even after being paid in full and signed off, Bill has returned a couple times and personally «groomed» the yard to get just that little extra look out of it. If you are considering a big yard project, go with DAD Pavers!

I made an appt. for Bill to come to my house at 5:00 to give me ideas and a bid. At 5:10 I called their office because Bill had not arrived. The girl, after checked ng, said Bill would be to my house in 15 minutes. At 5:30 Bill arrived. No apology or explanation about his tardiness. In fact, I had to ask him who he was because he didn’t even introduce himself. Then, when I told him my concrete patios was going to stay and only the rest of the yard would get pavers, he started pointing out what I had (I live here, I know what I have) and telling me how «patched it would all look if I left my concrete. Iinvited him to leave. Just had a bad feeling about the way Bill relates to customers, as if their time doesn’t have value (he was 30 min late, didn’t call to tell me he was running late and didn’t apologize) and what they want is stupid. You give the customer what they want or listen politely, then give your ideas. Not a very professional outfit.

I don’t have enough good words to describe our experience with the DAD Pavers. All of the members of the DAD team were incredibly friendly, very skilled, professional and courteous. They were willing to listen to feedback and provide input on design changes and even with obstacles in their path like stubborn tree roots and some other unforeseen issues, they did not let it get in the way of getting the job done and did not let it interfere with the timeline. They always cleaned up nicely after their day’s work and were always willing to make us happy.
Bill helped us through our trepidation of spending a significant investment on the yard and getting the design right. He patiently entertained our questions and provided input, pictures and design changes as we worked through the transformation we wanted to do to our 1200 square feet back yard. Daniel, the owner was very professional and helpful and the crew were really such great hard workers.
Their price was extremely competitive and we are very happy with the results. They managed to make the yard look gorgeous and we are so excited to begin entertaining!

We will not be using this company due to the terrible customer service. A guy came out to do a free consultation. He did not provide any information unless I asked questions. I’m glad I did my research beforehand on pavers, otherwise I wouldn’t have known what to ask about (if they use subcontractors, how long is takes to install, types of pavers to use, etc) I asked about their warranties and the guy baffled at my question. Like it was the stupidest thing to ask. He was also running over time and we really needed to go. I asked if we could finish on the phone or through email and he responded with ‘you don’t have an extra 30 seconds?’ But it was an extra 10 minutes of him talking. He also was unwilling to itemize things (different options of running a gas line) and told us to do the math ourselves. And finally at the end, instead of telling us he’ll email or send a copy of the quote, he asked us to take a picture of the paper! Really unprofessional.

We were looking to have our entire backyard redone after 15 years of old concrete dead grass and literally an embarrassing landscape. After meeting with several companies we settled Bill Feldman and D.A.D Pavers. Located in Lakeside CA we were abut concerned about the distance to Temecula CA app 65 miles one way. Concerns were eliminated when the team showed up. Led by Daniel, the D.A.D team was professional, timely and fantastic. We were gone most of the time and when we arrived home every night the place was clean and organized. Progress happened every single day and they were just a great service team. Everyone would stop and take the time to discuss and advise when asked. They installed app 1600′ of pavers and 600′ artificial turf. They managed around a previously installed BBQ and improved our previously installed fire pit. I run a large service organization so service is a major decision maker for me and choosing DAD pavers was the right choice. They have my personal recommendation (not easy to get).
