Horrible!!! Do not book with this company. After booking online and confirming with a phone call the following day and receiving multiple confirmation emails– Heromaid NO SHOWED for a 6:30am appointment on a Saturday. No one ever returned my calls and I called several times. This morning they charged my debit card for the cleaning service. Unbelievable. DO NOT use them.

Great attention to detail, and pleasant workers. They work hard to meet every need, and ensure full satisfaction. Very happy with the service!

I’ve been very happy with HeroMaid. We have the same person come every time and she’s always very prompt and reliable. I think cleaning services in general are really tough because people can have very high expectations.
As long as you’re clear on what you expect (i.e. certain places dusted, vacuumed, or specific black spot removed), and convey what you really want cleaned, and don’t expect them to work miracles, I think you’ll be very happy with this service.
I also find that tidying up before they come and clearing the sink, allows them to maximize their time actually cleaning and not wasting time clearing the toys or doing your dishes. I learned very quickly to let them know what was not important to me (organizing the counter space, or folding clothes, or clearing the dining room table). If you don’t ask to have something done, don’t be surprised if it doesn’t get done (i.e. cleaning the fridge, removing cobwebs, cleaning the groove of the windows). Lots of times those are an extra cost.
What I have been happy with is the fact they remove the play dough from my kitchen floors, clean the bathrooms, and vacuum. I only do the hourly rate at this point so I rotate which rooms, bathrooms, and items I have them focus on each time. It’s been great.
Overall, I plan to continue using them for a while.

I have had other cleaning services but HeroMaid is the BEST! They are great with reminders and regular service appts. Another big plus is that they use eco friendly products that don’t leave your home smelling like chemicals. If I could suggest anything it would be gift certificates… especially for mother’s day!

I am giving this company a one star review because they really dropped the ball on me today with a complete NO SHOW after booking a month in advance with them and receiving multiple follow up appointment reminders from them they just didn’t show up or answer the phone or even call me. I had to reach them through email and she got back to me and told me that they don’t service my area (and they actually do!) so they just didn’t come … This is after they put a hold payment of over $ 200 on my CC for the appointment the whole month and I had them scheduled for a deep clean added to a regular cleaning and I had chosen them specifically because their website said they service my area! I will attach a service area list and I can assure you my area is on their list … Its completely unprofessional to just not show up or call even if I really did live in a «no service» area because they advertise clearly their areas on the website so anyways. I am now drinking coffee at 6pm so that I can stay up and clean it myself and have my home ready so thanks a lot hero maid for completely dropping the ball and making my day awesome waiting around for you for three hours when I had important last minute stuff to do to prepare. They offered to have someone come 5 days from now and that just isn’t going to work for me. They where super unprofessional. For them to lie and say they don’t service my area is not cool it’s false advertisement to put that they do on the website. I feel like they just used that as an excuse for dropping the ball.

A little disappointed.
There was a miscommunication with my booking, so I wasn’t signed up for the move-​out service that I needed — instead I had a regular clean and paid for 2.5 hours. That alone wouldn’t have been a huge problem, but the team left after just 1hr 45mins with lots of details not done.
I spoke with Alex, who offered a discount or to send the team back, but I had decided to finish it up myself (I really didn’t want to be the person walking around saying «…you missed a spot»!). Unfortunately, the more I cleaned, the more I found that needed cleaning. Ended up spending a whole lot of time making it right — which was made slightly more difficult by the fact that I had packed and moved my cleaning supplies.
The booking process was nice and easy, and the communication was great when the team had to push the booking back a little bit, and the ladies were lovely. Everything was great except the clean itself.

Great job and will definitely use them again! Online booking is a plus.

Stellar service and this was the first cleaning company I’ve used that followed up with me to make sure the job was done right. More companies need to follow HeroMaid’s example.

There’s two things I look for in a cleaning service.
1. Being on time
2. Customer service
On my first cleaning, Dulce and her team showed up 10 minutes EARLY, did a great job (didn’t miss a thing, even the easy to miss spots like window ledges and vents), and did a walk through with me before she left.
After the cleaning, I got a call from Alex to welcome me and ask how everything went. Who does that anymore? It’s like a white glove service from the Mad Men days except that I booked online and I got text reminders.
Best cleaning service I’ve tried in San Diego, hands down. Highly recommend them.

I rarely write reviews, but heromaid is too awesome for me not to say anything! Very professional and thorough when it comes to cleaning and respecting your house and belongings. Best part is, if you book online, you get a discount and it’s way easier. I will defiantly be using them again, and would recommend them to anyone!

The girls did a fantastic job and were very attentive to what I wanted cleaned. Heromaid also makes the booking process so easy and I love that I can modify my appointment online.
The overall experience was very pleasant and I loved coming home after they did their magic.

Who wants to have to call to order anything anymore? As a techie I appreciate being able to just browse to
from whichever device I’m on, setup a booking and bam — the parents come over and are impressed with my cleaning abilities ;)
If Mother approves, it’s pretty much golden.
