History

Established in 2002.

Gabriel began shooting friends and family in Tucson, Arizona. Through great word of mouth, he started shooting weddings, sweet sixteens, first holy communions, and personal portraits. In the 2002, Gabriel graduated from University with a BS in Business Marketing. He then relocated to San Diego where he currently lives and shoots. Business clients include SDPix, Rich’s Nightclub, Brass Rail Night Club, Numbers Nightclub, San Diego Pride, and Wells Fargo Bank.

Business Owner

Gabriel was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. He was always interested in the art of photography ever since his parents began to take him to museums. There he saw many of the great photographers and artists and was immediately inspired. He began to obsessively read and collect magazines searching for interesting images to study and admire. He was given an old Nikon 35 mm and began shooting as a child. In high school, he began the formal study of photography while working on the school’s award winning newpaper and yearbook. In college, he studied under the tutelage of Ann Simmons-​Myers, interned at the Tucson Museum of Art, and began shooting freelance. In 2002, he graduated university and moved to beautiful San Diego, CA. He began shooting event photography for many bars and nightclubs and working with many up and coming models, actors, and artists.
