— Auto electrical repairs.

— OBDII Code reading and clearing — repairs only per customers’ request at competitive pricing.

— Components upgrade e.g. brakes, suspension, fuel system maintenance.

— Sealed (no dip-​stick) transmissions service (filter, gasket and fluid replacement), recommend to be done every 30~40K miles, depending on driving habits and manufacturers’ specification.

— Pre-​Purchase Auto Inspection for a fixed price. Should vehicle be purchased, the paid inspection fee can be applied towards total repair billing.

D&T Auto Repair is proudly owned and services provided by Tien Nguyen. Tien has been an ASE certified auto mechanic since 2000, customers who have had the opportunity to their vehicles serviced and repaired by Tien know that, he is an honest and trustworthy guy.

After years of hard work and experienced gained, he is now independent and running his own business with the same principles and professionalism — to provide honest and cost effective services to his customers.

I think that once in awhile, you should be able to rate a business six stars. If that was an option, rating a business six stars for exceptional service, I would rate D&T 6 Stars.
These guys stayed open an extra hour and a half for me. And on a Friday no less. They were willing to take me as a last minute appointment when my car had issues on late Friday afternoon. Even when I called them to give them updates that the tow truck driver kept pushing back his arrival time, they were super friendly and not distressed about how late I would show up. That is really good customer service.
On a Saturday, they were able to get the part that I needed and have my car ready to go in half a day. They even fixed a minor issue for me — an issue on related to why I brought the car in — at no extra charge. I’m very relieved that I found a dependable, reasonably-​priced, customer — oriented mechanic in my area. I look forward to doing business with them again. Thanks again to Tien for doing such a great job.

My friends recommended that I bring my car here to repair. I met the owner Tin and he was amazing! He is honest & told me how much it costs to fix my car. I went to the others auto repair shop just because I’m a girl and did not know much about cars. They charged me for unnecessary works that I did not know but compared to Tin, I trusted this guy. He is the one that I will bring my car to from now on and I will recommend him to all my friends!

Towed my over heated car here because it’s close to my place and the high-​rated reviews. Glad I did because the owner, Tin is friendly, honest, helpful and has reasonable rates for parts and labor. I found my new auto shop and he has great deals and fast service on oil changes. Wish I knew about his shop since it opened about a year ago. I definitely recommend this auto shop for repairs and maintenance.

This place is amazing! Easily the most competitive pricing available (by at least $ 200) and you can really tell Tien is trying to help you out. I had a water pump leak problem and he got it all fixed for me affordably. I highly recommend D&T. I shopped around prior to bringing my car in, and other places were either dismissive of me or quoted me ridiculous prices. After the repairs were done, he showed me all of the parts he took out and explained what everything did and any wear and tear he saw on it. If you have car issues, talk to Tien!

They were absolutely wonderful and I recommended them to a friend in need of car work immediately after I left! They were fast, honest and a very fair price. They showed me my break pads and rotor so I could see why I needed new ones and showed me the new ones before putting them in my car so I knew everything was as said; extremely honest company and highly respectable mechanics. I will be going back to them for all my car services including oil changes.

Great customer service at D&T Auto Repair. On 2÷1÷16, a large tree branch got stuck in the undercarriage of my car. I pulled it out but couldn’t tell whether I had gotten it all. I pulled out my phone, opened my Unilocal app and looked for a nearby auto repair shop. Based on the Unilocal reviews, I called D&T. They were super nice and said to come right over and they could take a look. I did just that. They immediately put my car on the block and took a good look around. Glad to report… no embedded tree debris. When I tried to pay, they said there was no charge because they hadn’t made any repair. Wow… you don’t find customer service like that very often! I insisted on tipping the tech. Based on my experience, this business deserves all the five star reviews. They gave me immediate assistance when I needed it and I would definitely return here for any future auto repair need.

Wonderful customer service!!! I have brought all 3 of my cars here and never once had an issue. This is the 4th time I went to this shop. From the first time till now, this guy is still awesome. I don‘t know nothing about car fixing but this man is truly remarkably honest and trust worthy. So hands on and very reliable and charge cheap too. He don‘t go for the long talk he go straight to the point. I am surely will continue to recommend him to my family and friends. D & T auto motive should really be Tin Auto motive.
Tin is the man, he is one Man operation and a helper
He has just started this business not too long ago but he has been in this business for a long time working for other people
He finally decided to go and open his own business, it is not easy for a person to become a business owner, (from personal experience) but looks like he has it in him
Tim is always smiling and very kind to customers, regardless he knows a lot about his business, I have been taking lots of cars to him and out of 10 maybe one or two he would have problems but otherwise he’s very swift in diagnosing problems with cars
He has a very friendly office and accommodates kids very well, his prices are reasonable perhaps maybe it’s because he’s new but hopefully he will keep them as such
One thing I know is it’s very tough to own a business and I hope he survives and does good, I wish him the best!

I had an oil change done by Tien a few months ago and will be going for my 2nd visit tomorrow. The pricing is the most competitive I have found in SD. Additionally he is honest and very nice — I highly recommend him and encourage others to pay a visit if needing to get your car serviced.
