I can’t say enough about this company! I needed to replace some interior windows. They came out when they said they would and their customer service was fantastic. Guys are friendly and easy to work with. When I had special cuts needed for a project, they were the first company I called. Jaco & Bill are great — informative, helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. Wish more companies were like them!

They’re awesome! I broke the sliding window in my kitchen and was able to just drop it off before work and they called me same day by 1 that it was fixed. Super nice guys as well! Def recommend

Needed to replace a large sliding window for my tenant. Told them of my time limits and they assured me they would have the new slider by the close of business. They met their promise. These guys are friendly, professional & their prices are good. Nice job!

I totally agree with Phil J. and all the rest of the 5-​Star reviewers. Jacco and Bill did their very best to help me, with a smile, patience, courtesy, expertise, honesty, and for a reasonable price. The appointments were kept on time. Only spoke with Jacco, but Bill was a pleasure.

I work at a large medical center and needed new glass shelves for our gift shop. I called Advance Glass and Mirror based on the reviews I read on Unilocal,and they are as deserving of 5 stars as I had hoped. Bill and Jaco provided fast and courteous customer service. I totally recommend Advance Glass and Mirror. The lining on my house’s front window was shot. Air was seeping through and I had no idea how to fix it. So I Unilocaled for a good glass place, and I’m so glad that I found these guys. Jaco and Bill are so nice and helpful. Jaco walked me through the options, explained to me how to get my window off the track so I could bring it in, and did the repair really quickly! The service and price were both great. I’m glad I now about this business, and I’ll be recommending them to friends for sure.

I needed mirrored closet sliding doors installed in a 4^th floor condo with a tiny elevator unit (i.e.: pain in the neck). Bill and his peeps took care of it. Great work at a reasonable price. Just got an inquiry from a neighbor and happily recommended Advance. Keep up the good work!

Decided to order a custom glass table top from this place due to its excellent reviews and I was not disappointed. Jaco is very personable, dependable, and knowledgeable. He happily explained edge options and helped me decide what specifications to order. I paid a delivery fee but he went out of his way to personally deliver the table top as soon as possible. The final product looks great!

I had a cracked double pane window. I took it in for them to look at. They ordered the replacement IGU (Insulated Glass Unit) and had it installed and returned to me in a sooner than expected. No complaints. I would use again.

Well, let me tell you about Jocko, he is VERY people oriented, excellent customer service skills and knows his products to boot! I haven’t even placed my order yet, but the pricing is crazy reasonable and I won’t bother calling anyone else.

This place is awesome! Great customer service, communication, and quality of work! Jaco was super helpful on the phone; Bill did a great job with the repair. On time, quick service, and charged as quoted. If you have a broken window, call these guys!

If Jaco is there, I give the place 5 stars. If the two super old people are there, I give the place 2 stars. I called to order a piece of glass, the old guy tells me I have to come in to order. I can’t say it over the phone I have to say it in person. I say I need it tonight he says come on in. I drive there, he says he can’t lift the glass himself that I have to wait an hour and half until someone comes in that can lift it… you can’t tell me that over the phone? Now I have to waste an hour and half of time. Something like this happens every time the old couple is working there. I would call and if they are working, just ask when Jaco will be in because they can’t really help anyone. I also pointed out that I come in all the time that they should know me by now, not in an angry tone and the old man said «I don’t give a damn who you are, this size glass is small beans to me. I don’t need your business» he just got super angry at me out of nowhere.

Yesterday, I broke my patio door window and Jaco (like taco, but with a J) saved my day! In a fret, I did my standard Unilocal search for services and Advance Glass and Mirror had the right ratings and reviews so they were my first call. Jaco walked me through my window replacement options from best to worst case scenarios. When we landed on the most cost-​effective solution which was bringing my patio door frame to his shop, he walked me through how to safely remove the broken tempered glass from my patio door frame and remove it from the railing/​tracks. (Mind you, they can totally come to your house, but that costs more time and money which I couldn’t spare. I was freaking out over not having a patio door!) Because Jaco was so accommodating, I didn’t feel the need to call other shops and get additional estimates. I knew that I made the right choice.
I did as told and I was able to remove the frame of my patio door and load it into my car. (It’s a Mazda hatchback which miraculously seems to fit everything!) When I brought the frame to Jaco, he went over my options again and reassured me that he would try all sorts of things ranging from trying to locate a matching sized window from his graveyard of older doors to ordering a custom cut piece of glass that would need to be treated to become tempered, which was my worst case scenario. I could be left without a patio door for about a week! Ugh.
Luckily, Jaco happened to have the perfect piece of glass sitting in his shop and within an hour or two, he called me to let me know that my patio door was good to go! I couldn’t have imagined this patio door window getting replaced any sooner, but Jaco made it happen! He saved my hide for sure!

Was about to call National glass, was reading their reviews, and somebody mentioned that they took their business here and I made the decision to call Advance Glass instead and I’m glad I did. I have been speaking to Jacco and his customer service is superb– he’s so detail oriented, well spoken, polite, and thorough. And the best feature in the industry– he follows through with calling me back every time. He has gone above and beyond to assist me with my shower glass enclosure layout. We are still about 2 months away from needing the enclosure installed, and the glass enclosure is already the only thing that is ready and set in stone.
Will be using them indefinitely.

I came here to get a hole cut out in a piece of glass and had no clue what i was doing. The man was sooooo nice to me and helped me figure out what to do. He went over and beyond for what he needed to help me with. Amazing!

I called for 2 broken windows but my schedule can be hectic. They totally worked with me and had the windows repaired in no time. Extremely nice guys

I called to get some screens replaced and to get the sliders back on track. He suggested I look for a mobile screen person instead, since that’s probably better in line with my needs for my townhome in Del Mar. Super nice guys — love good customer service.

Big shout out to Jacko!!! Thank you so much for your awesome customer service and help! Had a broken sliding window in the town home I’m renting. Called all over San Diego no luck. Called advance glass and was told it would be way cheaper for me to just bring the glass in to the store. So Jacko instructed me how to do so! And I brought it in. An hour later the window look brand new! The price was awesome as well. I spent like 103 for the window. This window is huuuge, we’re talking 4 ft X 4ft! Other competitors tried charging me from 200 – 300!!! Crazy! I will definitely be back to get some mirrors replaced! I love you guys!

We had a glass door shatter on us due to the heat and direct sunlight. These guys gave us friendly and timely information and quoted us at a very good price. They were able to come out and asses the situation the following day, get the glass ordered and were able to install it just a few days later. They made what was bound to be a long frustrating process quick and easy and we appreciate it greatly!
