We are Portland’s only luxury Double Decker charter/​limousine service, providing a historic vehicle with contemporary amenities. History

Established in 2010.

Established in 2010 when two University of Oregon graduates found a 1959 Bristol Lodekka Double Decker bus in Missouri, restored the exterior, and converted the interior to create Portland’s only limousine style double decker bus.

«Candy», as she is affectionately called by staff because of her candy red paint, has been the featured attraction at the 2012 New York International Auto Show and 2012 US Olympic Track and Field Qualifying at Hayward Field.

And Candy can be the star attraction at your next special event. From local pub crawls, Willamette Valley wine tours, and tailgating in Eugene or Corvallis Double Decker PDX strives to exceed you expectations.

The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) hired them for our Regional Meeting and the buses we so cool, clean, with waters/​sodas, and the staff were all super nice. This company was incredibly professional and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone or any company! :)

I rented the double decker to throw a surprise party for my girlfriend. I was able to do all of this from Reno thanks to all the help from Minda! She helped me choose great wineries and figure out our itinerary. She also went out of her way to help me stock the bus prior to the event. She was absolutely amazing helping me throw together an unforgettable event.
The bus itself arrived early giving us time to load everything up. The driver and host were very helpful and accommodating. Inside the bus is amazing and turns heads everywhere you go! We fit all 23 of our group upstairs with no problem, and there was still plenty of room downstairs. We had to change the itinerary a bit due to heavy traffic and the host helped us find another fun spot to stop along the way.
I’ve been on many party buses in many different cities. This was by far the nicest with the best service that I’ve experienced. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable day!

The nonprofit organization I work for has used both the Double Decker and the VIP PDX for an annual fundraising event, which includes a wine tour. We have a complicated itinerary that requires a relaxing and classy afternoon for our guests, while sticking to a very tight schedule. The Double Decker team has great attention to detail during the planning process and are incredibly responsive to questions and requests. On the day of, their staff is attentive and easy to work with to make sure everything runs smoothly! There is a reason we choose them each year!

Riddle me this… You’re in a new city with 20 of your most amazing co-​workers, and you all want to head out and explore. What form of transportation is the best?
How about a cab? Nah… only 4 people can cram into one of those tiny things!
How about an Über SUV? Nah… First off, Portland doesn’t do Über. LAME! Second, you’d need to find the one that seats 7 to make it any better than the cab!
What about a Limo? Decent option, but even as a short guy, I’ve never ACTUALLY been comfortable in one. On top of that, they can really only hold 10, and that means you need two.
Party bus? Maybe, but when you’re exploring a dark, neon lit, bus with a stripper pole that you can’t see out of just won’t work.
So what’s a group this size to do? Well, if you’re lucky enough to be in Portland with these peeps, you can hire the Double Decker PDX, and ride in style on a big, red, bi-​level bus, driven by a guy in a beret!
Downstairs there’s bar style seating, complete with swiveling stools so you can spin around and see all your friends behind you, and upstairs there are plush benches, panoramic windows, and of course, a fridge to keep your beverages frosty cold! Now no quality ride would be complete without a bumpin sound system, and this bus comes correct! Hook up your phone or pass on the DJ responsibilities to the very capable host, who’ll make sure the party keeps going until your time on the bus is up!
We had a blast rolling through the streets of Portland, waving to passersby, and picking up all kinds of looks. The bus is fun, quirky, different, and all around awesome. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, fancy free night out on town!

Just celebrated my 40th and had the BEST time on their double decker bus. We had a really fun day wine tasting at Sokol Blosser and Durant. The driver (name?), host (Dave) and the wineries were all amazing and made it an epic adventure that was enjoyed by about 20 of us. I would highly recommend working with this company. They’re top notch party people!

Highly recommend! The bus was. perfect for our wedding. We are from out of town and had about 25 people coming in for the wedding. We had the bus pick everyone up at the hotel, take us to Cathedral Park for the ceremony, followed by a pub crawl to celebrate. So much fun! Our guests loved it!

This company provides the best customer service in Portland! A unique experience for our group of graduating 8th graders. The kids had a blast and we felt completely safe with them in the vehicle. Sound, refrigeration, great interior and a removable roof make this the only way to travel with large groups around the city. The only downside is a company this successful is going to get busy quick! Book ASAP! :)

This rental was way way WAY better than renting a party bus, a stretch hummer, or any other option out there. The inside was swank, mini fridges galore, nice, comfortable seating, safe driving, oh and the host was KIND OF HOT, just saying. He was super friendly, helpful, and adorable. I will use this company exclusively for all my work outings from NOW ON. I’m not exaggerating.

I used Double Decker PDX for a birthday bar crawl excursion. My guests and I had a great time! If you’re looking for a bus service for your event, I highly recommend using Double Decker PDX. It’s nicer than any classic party bus I’ve been in and is a unique, themed experience that you’ll appreciate.
Brooks and Kent allowed me to design my ideal schedule for the event, including stopping at a scenic location and a park for additional festivities outside of bar visits. The hostess for the night was helpful, making sure all guests were accounted for before we ventured to our next destination. She also made sure we ran on time and enjoyed ourselves.
I was allowed to bring whatever I wanted onto the bus — in my case jell-​o shots, cake, and music. Water was provided, and having refrigerators on each level made sure all of the guests could access whatever they wanted. We were lucky enough to have a clear night for our venture, so the top on the bus was open which was an added plus. There’s plenty of room for max capacity — all of my guests managed to sit upstairs comfortably together. I found that my guests more so enjoyed being on the bus than in the bars. We changed our route toward the end of the evening and ended up driving around the city for the last 30 minutes and enjoying the view.
I highly recommend Double Decker PDX for any event.

WOW. What a classy and FUN way to do a party. Kent was a very fun and handsome host. I rented the Double Decker on my parents return from Europe. My Mom’s birthday and retirement was such a fun party. They even let my little one play on the bus before the party left on the bus. They were on time, great hosts, and all of our guests had an awesome time. Thanks guys for a great trip! Rent this bus! You will not regret it.

Our graduating 8th graders loved this bus!!! Brooks and Kate and our driver were very helpful and welcoming; the bus looked fantastic when it pulled up; we blasted our tunes; and we had a great time overall!

Double-​Decker PDX is a MUST if you are thinking about a group event! The bus is first-​class through and through! And the staff is extremely friendly and flexible to meet your needs.
We did a wine tour where we stopped by Red Hills Market (another must) to pick up lunch to eat at one of the wineries. We could not have asked for better hosts!

The bus is from the UK and has been completely remodeled. Leather seats, mini fridges, concealed trash cans, a bar area, speaker system with iPod dock, the whole nine.
I’m so glad my friend booked this for their birthday. Bring snacks (meats, cheeses, crackers, fruit/​veggies), alcoholic beverages, whatever you’d like!
Be very clear on which wineries you plan to visit in order to avoid questions later (hopefully). We chose three and added a fourth at the last minute. That’s how awesome they are on-​the-​fly.
It was a blast. And somehow I ended up finishing my wine faster than everyone else. Waaaaaaaaasted.
Be prepared for honks, stares, waves, and people wanting to see the inside of the bus.

I’m not going to lie – I was extremely apprehensive about touring this bus before our corporate event. We were going to take some high-​level restaurateurs around the Portland area and we wanted to ensure that they were shown an excellent time. I was truly scared that it was either going to be vomit-​encrusted or nothing more than the type of shuttle one would take from an airport terminal to a parking garage.
However, I really must say that these guys really came through. The bus is expertly designed. It is immaculate. It’s got several «wow» factors throughout that you’ll slowly notice throughout your evening. The great vehicle paired well with their courteous and professional demeanor, resulting in a wonderful evening for our clientele.

This bus is the b-​o-​m-​b. You can even throw a dot-​com on the end of that if you want. It’s a beautiful vehicle that has clearly been shown some love on the inside and out with graceful seats, small bars to serve guests, plenty of space for partying, and kind lighting. They also have a hypy sound system that will play your iPod/​iPhone to get the party started right. Best of all the guys driving and working on the bus are top dollar when it comes to friendliness and professionalism.
We recently rented the bus for an outing for about 15 of us for three hours. However, this thing could hold triple that amount I would guess as we only used the top portion and not even all of that for our group. It’s like the roomiest, coolest limo in the city. Because you can bring your own booze on board and drink while someone drives you around town. Pretty sweet, huh? Birthdays, bachelorettes, Funday Mondays, I can see all kinds of uses for the Double Decker PDX.
