Cascade Heating and Cooling

Bought a house, and inherited all the problems with it: a very old furnace. On the coldest days of the ²⁰¹⁵⁄₂₀₁₆ winter so far, the furnace stopped producing heat. After calling several other companies, Cascade said they could come out the next day. Vito arrived promptly, quickly arriving to a possible solution, where other HVAC companies have said they don’t recommend fixing the system. He worked on getting the whole system temporarily operational until a needed replacement part would arrive a week later. He called to check on how the system was holding up and let us know the status of the part delivery often enough that we didn’t worry about it. Once the part arrived, he installed it and said don’t pay anything for a few days to make sure this is the right solution. We will certainly be calling them again for the promptness and great service.

The team at Cascade did a fantastic job installing a new AC unit in our home. Vito did a great job recommending the right unit and was very helping explaining the benefits of the new system. He even installed a new thermostat that would connect to our wireless.

Having just moved to Portland and needing help with my heating system, I called Cascade early on a Monday morning and left a message. Within 30 minutes I had a return call from Vito and he was immediately available to meet me at my home.
Vito not only corrected the problem, but was able to find and install a new internet compatable thermostat. Vito was extremely professional, knowledgeable and very easy to work with.

Vito is wonderful. I was referred to him for A/​C work in the summer. I have an older house, and he walked through, listening to what i wanted and needed. He then discussed all my options, going through the pros and cons of each, explaining pricing along the way. We decided that the ductless A/​C unit was the best for my home and the installation went flawlessly. His communication during the process was much appreciated, and he came back because I was at work when he finished to explain how the unit worked. When it came time to run my gas lines for a gas fireplace and stove, it was a no brainer to call him and have him do the work. He is professional, meticulous in his work, and his prices are fair. I would highly recommend him (and plan to) to anyone!

Vito was very professional. He found a dirty filter that was overlooked by the home inspector. Unit runs much more efficiently now. Was able to turn the air conditioner down 2 degrees and be perfectly comfortable. We will use him for all our heating and air maintenance.

Cascade is pretty much a one man business: Vito Lupekha is both the owner and service person. When my furnace started making a horrible noise, I contacted him Monday morning. He couldn’t make it until Wednesday, but it was worth the wait. He replaced the broken condensation pump, checked the overall system, showed me how to adjust the dampers in my basement to regulate the heat flow throughout my house, and showed me how to replace my thermostat with a better one. He even went out of his way to deliver a box of furnace filters to me at his cost.
His charge was reasonable, and he explained his pricing. I am happy to have a reliable, trustworthy service company for an essential part of my new home. I will have him back in the spring to tune up the air conditioning system.
