History

Established in 2005.

Starting in 2005, our company’s founders, Mike Andreacchi and Brian Reardon, knew there were customers looking for dependable junk hauling service to clear clutter and unwanted items from homes and businesses. The two long-​time friends founded Junk Kingª and established a business in their garage. Since then the company has grown rapidly, but the superior service and attention to detail that made them stand out has remained the same.

This company provides one of the most needed services ever! They come in, view what needs to be picked up, give you a very fair price and then figure out how to haul your stuff
away!
We had an old-​style California King water bed and couldn’t figure out how to get it out of the
house, after its sale. Only Junk King could have helped us and did — in an efficient, professional way!

I had about ¼ truck full of stuff that needed to go. I was quoted an initial price. The driver was able to break down some of the items in order to fit them into a smaller space, therefore making the price even lower. Customer service of the driver was excellent. I would definitely use this company again AND would have no reservations about recommending them to others.

Excellent service. The guys called and let me know they were coming early which was no problem. Estimate and pick up on the same trip Three cheerful guys showed up and carried off enough stuff to fill half of the truck in about 20 minutes. Will definitely use them again.

Supposed to show at 4. Showed up. We were not ready at 230. But said it would be $ 200. They said they would come back. No show. No call nothing. I called and complained. Said oh sorry. We will give you 50% off if allow to come back. I agreed. Appointment was for 11 to 1. I called at 1. I was told i would get a call. I get call 115. Guy tells me he will be here after 2. Shows up after 2 pm. Tells me. Now price is $ 750. But with my discount its $ 375. I said i expected and anticipated their poor business practices. I had already scheduled a different co for morning to pick up my stuff

Had reservations about calling «anyone» about hauling away an old spa… We live in a two story townhouse and the old spa was on a sun porch. I expected this job would cost no less than $ 500.00!!! Was out driving around Pleasanton and decided to go by their brick and mortar and discovered it was basically a warehouse. I parked and called and was given a quote over the phone of between 220.00 and 338.00 (basically given in relation to how much room will be taken up in their truck). I asked that a representative call me to set up a visit to quote me an exact price. It wasn’t 30 minutes later that I received a phone call from Josh who said he would be out to «pin it down». A very polite professional young man (Josh) showed up, surveyed the job, quoted me a firm price of $ 338.00 and made the appointment for the next day (today). The window of between 10 and 12 was given, they were here at 10:30, spent 15 minutes to do the job (after protecting all possible surface damage) and left a very satisfied customer.

The guys who came to my house were awesome! They really helped to get rid of furniture that we no longer needed that was cumbersome. They were very quick to assess what needed to be removed, very fast with removing the junk, and really nice. This company saved me money by saving me a trip to the county dump and renting a truck to ship everything out.
If you’re in Contra Costa County and you have a tons of large furniture you need to dump, contact these guys.

I cannot praise Josh, the head of this Junk King’s franchise, enough for what he did to account for the huge, inconvenient, and unaccountable mistakes of the unnecessary Junk King dispatch office. Their dispatch office did not confirm my appointment with Junk King for 8 – 10 AM this Friday, although I called earlier to confirm and was told that this appointment was there.
Josh and his crew went above and beyond to make this situation right with me. The fact that I will strongly consider Junk King of Contra Costa for further business shows how much I value his services.

Just had Lawrence and his guy over to clear out a full truck load of construction debris from my home remodel (added a few spring cleaning items as well). Lawrence worked quickly, kept me updated as he progressed, verified some items were actually for disposal and made the area spotless when they were done.
As a small business owner myself, I appreciate another working hard, doing a great job for a fair price. That’s Lawrence and his Junk King franchise.

We have been thinking about cleaning out our side yard, the place where everything goes to die, for a long time. A friend mentioned that he used this company and they were great, but I still researched online and found out that these guys are very reasonable also. In addition to price, these guys were perfect in every way:

Called before they arrived just like it said online.
Arrived on-​time.
Lawrence and Gabe were very professional, polite, and nice guys who worked quickly and cleaned the side yard up really well.
