I love this place! I’ve never been known to be the best cook and my first pizza fell on the floor and all over my oven. The staff at Papas picked up the phone I explained my predicament and they were more than happy to replace my large pizza at no charge! Talk about customer service! My second attempt came out perfect and the pizza was delicious.

It is sad that I have to write a bad review here. I have been a fan of Papa Murphy’s take and bake pizzas for many years. Great ingredients, friendly service, and always tasty! I used to frequent the location in Fullerton quite often but it closed down. The first time I tried the Placentia location, it lived up to The previous high standards. But this second time, I was shocked! Yes, the service was very prompt and friendly. And yes, the ingredients were fresh and tasty. But, the ingredients were so skimpy, that I will probably not return again. The Cesar salad container was only about half full, compared to the many times I had purchased it before. And the gourmet garlic chicken pizza appeared as though the ingredients were lightly sprinkled on, where in the past it had been quite generous. On this visit, the food was not worth the price at all! Appears I will be going back to preparing homemade pizza at home. Sad.

P. Murf’s is the place to be… leave a person at home, preheat the oven, go grab a pizza return… 15 minutes late fresh out of the oven deliciousness… BESTPART… no tips… BAM, cheap and easy for that Netflix and chill evening. The pizza’s are awesome, there isn’t a single bad one. if it’s game day and the fav. team is on. GET A COWBOY… and never look back. if you want to seem fancy the chicken and herb pizza with sundried tomatoes will make you feel slightly richer than that broke bank slip shows.

I definitely give this place 5 stars. We had got a coupon in the mail(usually we look and toss them) but this time we actually looked throughly at the deals they had. Forgot the coupon at home but when we arrived the guy who greeted us was really nice and explained how everything worked. We were surprised about the«take-n-bake» but it actually worked out and I like the idea of my pizza piping hot. Anyway we ordered the Chicken Mediterranean and it was delicious. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted. We will be back here again!

When I first saw it pop up my sister had already tried their pizza before me and said it was terrible. I think she is full of s**t. That being said they sell this«stuffed» pizza, not to be confused with stuffed crust. This is a whole other breed of pizza. Everything you love about pizza except X2! Now I will admit the price is a touch high, but not for this type of pizza considering how much you get. I can consistently eat an entire late pizza from almost anywhere. I ate 2 slices and was stuffed. Only con to this place was having to bake it yourself, mid summer and baking don’t mix in small apartments. BUT, when the sun goes down and it cools off this pizza was worth every degree of heat. Call ahead to make it a fast transaction, or order there and talk to a friendly staff while they quickly prepare your family feast.

Is place is pretty good. My husband and I got a huge pizza. There were so many toppings(: My husband can eat a whole pizza by him self. This one was so thick and packed with toppings. He could only eat a couple pieces. Also for you who don’t know. You get a pizza premade, and bake it when you go home. I didnt know that.

I call in for a pizza about twice a month and am usually satisfied. Today I had a very unpleasant employee — sullen, wouldn’t make eye contact, and did a slap-dash job on the topping of my stuffed pizza(not enough sauce). I don’t know if I’ll even go back to that location. At least my family will be eating healthier on Tuesday nights.

There’s always a deal going on with Papa Murphy’s – Pizza Wednesdays, and coupons in the mail, plus the surveys they always give out with each pizza. The price and taste is great; this place is totally worth it, even with the incredible inconvenience of having to walk into the kitchen to set the oven to 425.(As if it’d kill you to do that for cheap and good California pizza.) My only grief? The one closer to me in Brea/North Fullerton closed for some reason. ‚( They have a barbeque chicken pizza. That should say enough.

This is probably the only place that gets 5 stars consistently from me. You walk in and are always greeted warmly and nicely. You can always find great deals either posted on the wall in store, or from the coupon mailers. In fact, I have gone in enough times that they even gave me a permanent discount tag for the key chain. Wow! If you care to, please read my previous review on the place. Anyway, although you do have to bake it yourself, this place offers great pizzas that no other places can rival. Try it yourself.

Probably the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. High quality ingredients. The gourmet veggie delite is great. Take it and bake it and you’ll never want to eat pizza anywhere else.

me think this nasty. I just threw up in my mouth a lil bit from the thought of there pizza. SUPERGREASY! The dough is bleached. It can never been cooked enough. It’s probably the cheapest frozen dough out there. A .99 cent microwaveable frozen pizza from a grocery store is probably better then there pizza. Why the hell would anyone pay for an uncooked pizza when it’s the same price and better quality at a Pizza Hut? I don’t get it.

I wish I could give this place a 4.5! The pizza here is actually much better then I expected it to be. Not to mention, the large is truly a large pizza(it makes pizza hut and domino’s larges look like mediums). I just wish they would bake it for you so its ready to go. But that’s the lazy me coming out… I had a coupon that I got at work, so I figured I would give it a try. I got a basic pepperoni pizza. While waiting for it to be made, I realized they have a huge selection of different style pizzas — definitely enough to keep you trying something new for a while. Papa Murphy’s is known for making the pizza and you take it home to bake yourself. Obviously, being an outgoing but lazy american, I don’t like to make my own food when I have paid someone else to prepare it. But I took the risk of killing myself and went along with the idea of baking it myself(I am no cook or baker, even for the simplest things). It took less then 20 minutes to cook and turned out perfect. I can now say I like basic baking: D The taste was great! It has some of the best cheese and pepperoni out there! Not to mention, the crust was perfect too. It was quality and not dry(like many other pizza crusts). The large showed to be enough to feed 3 people easy I would say… The employees were friendly and give a basic run down of the business if you mention its your first time there. They were out going, didn’t keep us waiting, and you can watch them make your pizza. I definitely recommend this place if you want to try something better then the major pizza chains.

I was pleasantly surprised. It’s not the best pizza ever but it’s much better than the delivery chains. We ordered the combo, which was ok, and the gourmet veggie, which was even better, and included nice ingredients like spinach, zucchini and artichoke hearts. Very comparable to the equivalent pizza at Round Table but for a lot less. If you sign up you’ll get a coupon for the second pizza at half price, with that our two large pizzas were $ 18, a good deal. The staff were very nice. If you live north of Yorba Linda you can enter the back way off Palm and avoid the crowded parking in front of the store. We’ll definitely visit again.

So glad to have Papa in SoCal. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients. This is NOT crappy Costco take-and-bake. Worth the 15 minute drive to pick it up. Try the 5 meat stuffed. Awesome.

I love their pizza. Made however you want it right in front of you. Take it home, bake it later right on the tray they give you. No dishes unless you use a fork to eat pizza. Better than any frozen or grocery store made pizza. It’s my Christmas Day dinner tradition.

They’re pretty good… Good prices, tasty… There dough is a little chemically, like the flour is bleached too much or it’s too fortified with other minerals or something.

They offered $ 1 slices at the OC food fest so I figured I was losing money if I didn’t try a slice. Well… it was not very good. Tried their stuffed pizza. Their version of deep dish is what I was told. Best part was the stuffed crust. The rest of the stuffed pizza was soft and luke warm(to be kind) in most spots. You can’t get anything for a $ 1 these days, including a good slice of pizza apparently.

Someone brought these to a small group meeting and OMG! These pizzas are SOOOOOOOGOOD! The entire house smelled amazing, but the pizzas tasted even better! So apparently, this place only allows you to buy pizzas that you have to take home to bake. That concept might be slightly bothersome if you’re lazy, but I definitely think it’s well worth it because you ultimately save some money and the quality of the pizza is very homemade. We had the murphy’s combo, the chicken bacon artichoke, and the herb chicken mediterranean thin crust. I personally liked the mediterranean the best because the feta cheese gave the pizza a really great flavor, especially against the spinach. My friend also bought the cinnamon wheel and the s’mores pizza, but we were too tired to try it… but I definitely will be driving here to pick up some pizzas myself! :)
