I’ve been coming here since 2001⁄2002. No doubt this is the best Rubios ever and I’ve been to lots of other Rubios including the original in San Diego.
Rubios in Placentia has the best quality shrimp burritos, tacos, bean burritos, bowls, chips, salsa and OG fish taco. I love that they take their time to cook the food fresh to order (beans especially the beans) if I want something fast then I’ll go to taco bell (another review coming soon)

This Rubio’s always has friendly workers, is always very clean, and always has new amazing food. Today I experienced an amazing visit. Adriana greeted me right away. And I tried the California bowl. Delicious. And to top it off the salsa bar was fully stocked and had my fav green salsa. Def one of my fav spots. Thank you Rubio Placentia Team.

I visit Rubios once a week and it’s always delicious! But the purpose for my review is for the customer service. The young man Brian is fabulous! I see him every week and he always has the biggest smile on his face and is so welcoming. To Rubio’s management… Give that boy a raise because he deserves it!

Love this place! Excellent food and service. Ainsley is a great worker she is always so nice and makes our visit pleasant! Thank you Ainsley, keep up the good work. Taco Tuesdays $ 1.50 tacos for the best fish tacos ever! One of the Kids meal has «Chicken Bites» my boy loves them. My daughter loves the bean berritos. The pinto beans are so yummy! If its not Taco Tuesday, go for the «Chicken Chopped Salad! Oh my… the salsa bar is outstanding! My family loves Rubios.

This place needs to be put up on the top on my «fast food list.» The tacos are always delicious, fresh, and of many varieties. They have indoor and outdoor seating, a salsa bar, and it’s decorated cute inside. You have several choices of sides available. Furthermore, they offer beer, wine, and sangria, as beverage alternatives. Tasty and tempting!

Fish tacos and burittos are my favorite here. My wife likes chipotle citrus salad bowls with salmon. Salsa bar is awesome. Excellent customer service and it’s very clean here.

I come here pretty often because I work right down the street, and everything is always AMAZING! the staff is always so friendly, and seem genuinely interested in serving you. Always clean Sven when they are busy! lastly I must say the manager here is always so nice and accommodating and friendly! All in all this is the only Rubios I will ever come to just for the staff!

I come to this location for a burrito all the time and it never fails. Their burrito especial with no meat is such a yummy vegetarian option. Everyone is always friendly there but tonight Teresa took our order and she was so attentive sweet and super personable. Love her smile! Definitely an asset to have someone like that working for you coming from the food service industry.

We were disappointed in our experience at this restaurant today. The steak tacos were extremely poorly constructed, and the tortillas were ripped on the sides as if a box cutter had gone through them all. The amount of food we received was unacceptable for the price we paid, a $ 20 meal didn’t come close to filling us up (we aren’t even big eaters). We asked for sides of both rice and beans and received only the beans, in a half-​filled, small cup. Also, the cheese enchiladas tasted terrible, do not order them!

Duane was an excellent host. We love coming here, been coming here for many years. Finally decided to write a review. The service is always good and the food always tastes great. If you come here for fish tacos tuesday however, make sure it’s after 2:30 p.m. if its before 230 then you pay more.

I only go to Rubio’s for their Taco Tuesday special, so this review will just be that. The tacos are great! Not fishy tasting at all. The place is pretty clean, but a closer look at the tables gross me out a little. I always order to go anyway. The salsa bar is well-​maintained and super clean. The customer service is really friendly and all smiles. Can’t go wrong with this Rubio’s joint.

I ordered steak nachos to-​go. I live less then 5 minutes away but regardless nachos were inedible. The 95% of the to go box was filled with these inedible stale nasty chips. The meat, cheese and other toppings were concentrated in a teeny tiny hill in the sea of disgusting chips. I seriously tried to eat any parts of it that I could but it was so terrible. I have ordered steak nachos from other rubios franchises and liked them but I have a feeling that because I ordered these to-​go that the kitchen did not give a fuck. It sucked so bad. I won’t be going back to this place.

Had the original fish taco… twas amazingggg oh my goodness. It was alittle bit on the expensive side since it was like 3 bucks but compared to «real» mexican tacos it is alot bigger and probably more sanitary. But overall really great restaurant and very great food.

This is our weekly Sunday ritual and their current Chimichurri Salmon salad & tacos are AWESOME. We get the plate deals that come with a drink and its definitely bang for your buck: D

This was my first time at a Rubio’s believe it or not. We had just got done hiking and were starving but didn’t want to drive anywhere far out, so we settled on Rubio’s. I had the fish taco especial (fried fish with guacamole, cheese and white sauce in a corn tortilla) it was good. We tried the salmon taco and both felt that it was bland, also tried the mango habanero mahi mahi taco, our favorite. The sweet spicy salsa helped the fish out alot. The salsas at the salsa bar (4 total that I tried) were not very good in my opinion, the mild ones were bland and the spicy one odd tasting. The service was good and the restaurant was clean, well kept. Good visit overall.
