Wells Fargo Bank

What a great place. I don’t bank here but my hubby does and I was coming in to make a payment on something for him. The kind gentleman at the door was so welcoming. My teller, Shelby, was especially pleasant.

This branch was super friendly when I went in. I suppose I could say it’s somewhat typical, but I’ve been to some branches where there’s this air of arrogance and disdain on the customer. This branch was clean. One star is knocked off, because the parking lot was tiny.

Started banking here a few months back, and so far I have no complaints. The location has very friendly service as they always greet me as I am coming in or leaving, ask what they can do to help for my visit, and always keep the line moving (if there even is on), so I am in and out fast. A couple ridiculously attractive chicks work here, its a clean location, two drive-​thru ATMs, and conveniently located in a good area. Though I occasionally swing by other Wells Fargo locations to make deposits/​withdrawals, I would consider this one the best of them all.

The teller line goes by fairly fast and is running through a serious of ropes. The tellers have always been fairly friendly when I have stopped in here over the last decade.
I like the drive through ATMs as they have multiple line options. This makes it very convenient when trying to make a quick deposit or to get some cash. The fact that it is a standalone building on the corner with a larger parking lot always alleviates trouble on the first or fifteenth when the worst paydays are shall we say.
Overall its a great banking location and has been very convenient to me over the years. Hopefully you find it the same.

First time customer. Opened an account online. Had some trouble, teller was great she helped me through it. Her name is Stephanie (very cute too) awesome service. Staff was good too. Will make this my preferred branch.

If I could give less than half a star I would. I came here to open up an account with my fiancé who was living in Placentia at the time and was told we would mailed checks as we would have many upcoming payments. 2 months later I still received no checks so I went to my nearest branch to inquire what the status was. They informed me that no one had ordered my checks and that I should speak with the banker I had opened the account with (to get my first free booklet). I called this branch and asked to speak with the manager and was told he was «out» for the day. I spoke to another gentleman who informed me that he would rush order the checks and that I should receive them in 2 days. 2 weeks later. no checks. I called again and insisted to speak with the manager Ken who first tried the dodge the call and have a middle person speak back and forth with me. Finally when speaking to him he said he could not «rush order checks» but that he would give me a sheet a checks for free if I went in… Uhh I live 20 minutes away so absolutely NOT. I told him I knew for a fact that they rush order checks and after trying to back peddle he said «oh yeah I found that option now.» He then «suggested» I should upgrade my account to receive free checks and money orders. UMMM what does that have to do with my checks that I was owed?! I personally love Wells Fargo but the customer service here is WAY below par. The manager (Ken) you would expect to be professional displays low class, does not care for customers, acts as if he’s doing you some favor when it’s part of your account. I would never come back to this place and if you’re thinking about opening your account here I highly suggest going to another branch probably a block away. Horrible horrible customer service from the manager that is supposed to display the upmost service.

The last two times I have gone into this bank I have left very angry. I went in there one time to deposit a lot of cash into my account because I didn’t trust the ATM. I sit down with a teller and some other guy stands behind her making annoying small talk with me. When he saw all of my money he asked me where I got all of that cash from, as if it were no big deal to ask a person that! I’m sorry, but that is absolutely none of your business! After that time I should have known not to go in there again.
The next time I went into the bank was for admittedly a stupid reason. I had driven through the ATM to buy stamps and low and behold there was one missing from the book. I decided to go in to switch out the book because stamps are expensive and I needed the full book. I went up to the teller and she told me that they don’t carry stamps inside but they’ll refund me the price of one. Ridiculous to wait for, I know, but how hard could it be to refund someone 46 cents? Another girl behind the counter then asked me «what do you need stamps for anyways? who even uses those now?,» which I find to be, once again, none of their business. What is with these people asking rude questions for the sake of small talk? The teller told me they’d look up the price of a stamp and refund it, but in the mean time she wanted to know if I have any way of building credit. That kills me! I go in to get a stupid book of stamps traded out and they start asking me about my credit. They tell me its going to be a minute (how hard is it to figure out the price of a stamp?! I mean weren’t they just harassing me about using stamps when everything can be done online now?) at this point I get taken to a desk with a lady. Why I didn’t walk out right then, I don’t know. She tells me they’re looking up the price of a stamp but meanwhile why don’t they look at my accounts. She then proceeds to ask me how I’m building credit, that they’re offering me a college card (bright idea, offer credit cards to college students easily) and it’s a great deal, and all that other harassing crap. I told her I’m getting married soon, we’re going to figure it out together, etc. She then asks me how I’m saving for my wedding. Um, once again Wells Fargo, none of your damn business! Then, while looking at my account she makes a comment about how she sees that I have some money in savings. What the hell? Finally she gets back to my stamp issue after 20 minutes of harassing me about credit cards and proceeds to call up someone for the information who puts her on hold for 5 plus minutes. While she sits there typing out emails, I finally snap out of it and tell her to give me my cards and stamps back and leave.
I realize a lot of this is my fault for not just leaving to begin with. It was stupid to go in there over one stamp and wouldn’t have if I knew they couldn’t just replace the book. But I’m wondering, is this a ploy of theirs to get people to sit down and have to listen to credit card information? Maybe that’s too conspiracy theory-​like, but maybe they do take one stamp out of every few books of stamps for this reason? I also wonder what she was doing with my ID all that time while she was typing on the computer. I know this is very long, but I am so annoyed about this! I don’t blame any individual person, but Wells Fargo as a whole for training the most annoying employees ever! Just some advice: never, ever go into this bank unless you absolutely have to! And never go in for one stupid stamp!!! I’m going to keep my account for convenience reasons, but I will not open a credit card with them and I cannot wait to switch to Schools First when I get married!

Stopped by this branch to take care of a few things and left with a smile. My teller assisted me with my deposits and withdrawals and gave me no hassle. She was really nice, too! It’s no wonder Wells Fargo Bank is #1 in Customer Service.
PROS:
–The CSR was incredibly nice and chatty with all of the customers. He was also on top of opening and closing the door for all the customers entering and leaving the branch.
— All bankers and tellers had a smile on their face
— Lots of candy everywhere!!! (I was good, so I didn’t take any)
By the way, the person who left a bad review doesn’t make sense. I’m sure what he wanted to do was CASH the check and deposit that CASH back into his account. Checks can always be deposited within a reasonable time frame before or after, and everyone knows that your check will not clear until the date has passed. Common sense, people!

Was in the area decided to stop by… deposit my check… the teller was friendly then she noticed I was a day early… she called her manager and made him aware and said I am already on tomorrow’s date. He said we can’t take this check so I said ok he walked away I was talking to the lady about savings account then she said you’ll have to come back tomorrow I told her I would be in court so I couldnt do that… the manager comes back and in a angry voice begins to say hey listen we can’t do anything for you your check is dated for tomorrow it might get declined so I stopped him and said hey I wasn’t complaining ok I’m sorry i answered your tellers question… I hate Wells Fargo ill think twice about stopping at this place… also I have a broken leg one of the greeers saw me limping towards the door makes eye contact thought he would open the door for me… nope…not that I care I’m sure he didn’t…

This is on the way from my work to my home which is why I usually stop by here also it is close to the 57. I like the people who work here, they are professional but also fun and since I’m usually going in on Fridays they ask about my weekend and it doesn’t sound like just something to fill in the silence. I really enjoy going to this bank and haven’t had any issues with doing business here.

This is my normal bank these days ever since I moved to the Fullerton/​Placentia region. Everyone is very friendly, and wants to be able to get you on your way satisfied.
Today, I came in for an appointment set at 1pm for a auto loan that I would be taking out. My sales representative was Krystal P. The first time I met her to set up the appointment and to ask a couple questions regarding the loan, she was very honest and nice. There wasn’t anything she was going to be hiding from you, and she wanted the best for you. When I got there for my appointment today right on time, she was still with some other customers. Even though the other customers made her overlap into my appointment time, Krystal made sure to assure me that she’ll be right with me in a very professional manner. It was her kindness, and honesty that helps me make this my very 5 star rating on Unilocal.
Customer Service is always a first priority, and she didn’t forget that.

Staff is always friendly, greet you with a smile, usually more than one person greets you when you walk in. Easy to make conversation with cashiers, staff/​management is also very helpful. You get in, get out, quick and easy, always satisfied. I have never had any resemblance of a problem at this branch.
