Corriea Lock and Key

I needed a locksmith quickly last Saturday and called Frederick. He arrived in less than 20 min and solved the problem. He is experienced, reliable, easy to work with, reasonable priced and did not charge me more than he quoted on the phone even though he had to do extra work. The great thing about calling Corriea Lock & Key is that you get the owner, Frederick, himself so you know you will get quality work done. When you call a larger company, you never know who they will send out.

My daughter had a traumatic life experience. In the process, her keys were stolen. In addition to dealing with my daughter’s needs and family affairs, it was necessary to rekey all of the locks at my house.
Frederick to the rescue. I left him a message and he promptly returned my call. He said he would be at my house in 30 minutes, he arrived in 20. He rekeyed all of my locks and threw in multiple copies key copies free of charge, staying within the initial estimate he provided.
With all of the stress my family and I had to deal with, Frederick made it that much easier to deal with. A+ service! Highly recommended!

Reliable. I must say reliable because that is what I see on Frederick. He was here this morning to change locks in all my doors. I found his name in the local magazine called the Market Place and I immediately called him up. Judging the tone of his voice I can tell that he is a good person and can be trusted. So, I made an appointment with him the following morning. Not knowing anybody we just follow our instinct. I would say that we just got the right person at the right place and at the right time. We are satisfied with the service and I really do think he did an excellent job.

I contracted Corriea Lock and Key for work. I had previously spoken to 4 other locksmiths, asking for their recommendations and estimates. Frederick was the only person that thoroughly answered all of my questions and even recommended some alternates that where not as pricy.

I don’t usually write reviews, however this one is warranted. I called mr. Corriea because I had some security issues that had to be dealt with immediately. He was at my home within 15 minutes. An hour later my concerns were resolved. I recommend mr. Corriea! Prompt, efficient, reasonable service. I would not hesitate to use his services again. In fact I can’t imagine using any other locksmith.

I have been using this locksmith since his name was given to me from a local lock and key store. That was 10 years ago– since then he has re-​keyed over 20 doors for me. He is incredibly timely, respectful and kind. From late night calls for super glued car locks, keys broken off in door locks, quick replacement of locks when purses were stolen or keys lost, and new lock sets installed in new doors– this guy is the one I call. Mobile, in the east Bay Area, no hassle no drama, reasonable pricing. I have referred him to my mom, and all of my best friends and they all had only positive things to report.

Frederick was referred to me by a friend, who is a retired locksmith. I called and arranged an appointment for him to install a deadbolt the next morning. He showed up exactly on time, installed the lock quickly and tested it thoroughly, Price was more than reasonable. He ieven installed a better quality lock than I paid for because he didn’t have the cheaper one in his truck!

Frederick did an amazing job for me. My truck had been broken in and had both door locks punched out. He replaced both locks and the ignition. Fredrick told me that some one not only had broken in, but that they had tried to start the vehicle and with the replacement ignition the truck fired right up. My front door lock broke and I couldn’t get in or out. Mr. Corriea put in a new lock and deadbolt expertly and efficiently. Very professional and personable with excellent communication skills — told me when he would be at my home and then called later to say he was on his way. Price was right too. Highly recommend!

I totally forgot to write this post but it definitely deserves it! My mom told me about this locksmith that helped her a couple times last year. Anyways, Frederick was super nice over the phone. He was really patient with me as I tried to explain my problem even though I wasn’t really sure what happened he helped me through it. Within half an hour he was over at my house and he was coming from another job site in San Leandro to El Cerrito which wasn’t bad considering it was rush hour. Before when I had a similar problem with my house door, I had called another locksmith and after two hours he finished and over charged me because of the labor. With Frederick, the owner of the company, he finished within an hour and gave me a lower rate because I told him my mom referred me to him. I mean it wasn’t like 50% off but a couple dollars off was still nice. So I paid him a bit extra and he gave me his business card. This is one business I would definitely refer to my friends and family!!!
