It’s pretty remarkable that this place can sustain. The customer makes out very well here. Although they cycle out semi frequently, the establishment seems to always have talented massage therapists. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Dr. Shi has done a great thing for the community by keeping good body work affordable for the masses.

I was having some trouble back pain from what I concluded to be sitting art work and came in for an hour-​long deep tissue massage. I totally forget my masseuse’s name but she was amazing. I requested strong pressure and boy did she deliver. She got into all of my right muscles and really focused on the spots that I highlighted. I felt site after the massage (as to be expected) but this morning I’m feeling good as new! Thank you! I will definitely be coming back.

Wow wow wow! I just got a 90 minute massage by Lisa and I swear the woman has healing hands! I was surprised that she was so strong but I welcomed the strength with open arms.
I had such a long day today, scratch that, long week. Stress has piled up, work has consumed me, and my back felt so tense I couldn’t even rest properly. I called to make an appointment and Alex was able to accommodate me within a 45 minute window for my 90 minute massage. I parked in the back and was greeted immediately by Lisa. The massage started and by the time my time was up I didn’t want it to end! The massage was firm, she knew exactly where my trouble spots were and she was consistent with checking the pressure was ok.
Everyone here has been amazing, from massage therapists to the front desk, but Lisa… Lisa is the winner! If I was rich I’d hire her as my personal massage therapist, haha. Thanks Beautiful Day Spa, another amazing massage and another crappy day salvaged.

This is the best foot massage in pasadena, it is very clean and the staff is really friendly I would recommend this to all my friends

I recently moved to the area and was suffering from a splitting tension headache one day. I needed a massage ASAP! I searched on Unilocal and discovered this gem within walking distance to my condo. I called and was able to make an appointment to be seen within the next 20 minutes. The gentleman at the front desk had terrific mannerism and I instantly felt comfortable walking in. My masseuse was Nina and she is an angel! After a thorough full body massage I left feeling relief. I was given a stamp card with 2 stamps on it for being a first time customer and then 2 more stamps for getting their 1 hour massage. If you get six stamps you get an upgrade of either aromatherapy or hot stones. I will definitely be back!

Came back in tonight after a long hike… and boy did Andy do his magic… he’s the best…

I called a week ago, and from the get go their customer service was awesome! Will was such a hun and helpful. I was able to get an appoint right away. Andy just knew the right amount of pressure for my lower back & shoulders.

I received a gift certificate here and this was my first time getting a full body massage, or better yet, first time getting a massage after my back injury a few years back. Lisa was amazing and made sure I was comfortable, and any time I was too tense or it was a little too painful, she responded quickly and went a little lighter. It was also nice to have a conversation and getting to know one another. It was nice to relax for a little while before getting back into the hustle and bustle. What I also love is that you’re covered with a sheet so it’s not as though you’re laying on a bed completely exposed the whole time.
I checked online and the prices are really good for what you get. Though I’ve never been to any other massage establishment and have nothing to compare it to, it was a great experience and I’m looking forward to coming again. Ask for Lisa!

This place is amazing! i came here to get a massage due to a lot of tension in my back and neck from work. Andy knocked out every kink ! I literally fell asleep during the massage thats how relaxing it was ! I will deff be back

OMG! Do yourself a favor and make this service a monthly or weekly thing! $ 20 for a «foot massage» includes head and back and legs and so worth it!!! Such great thorough service!!! Loved it!

I found this place on Unilocal.I know that Unilocal can be completely hit and miss, as reviews can be great to horrible. I think the price and some of the great reviews enticed me to make an appointment. I have been getting massages for the last 15 years at Burke Williams. Yes, it’s nice and has some amenities, but I go for the massage. When I pay extra for a deep tissue, I expect it to be deep tissue. Lately I’ve walked away feeling ripped off. I get a massage for the massage, not the jacuzzi, the steam or mist room. I have a shower at home, same thing. So I decided to try this place out.
This place is small, clean, quaint and nothing fancy. MY MASSAGE WAS THE BEST! I want a hard, deep tissue massage that gets the knots out. My first couple visits I got Andy and he was great! Yesterday I received a massage from Peter. Peter is hands down the BEST. He worked out ever knot. I’m blown away that I can pay $ 40 plus a $ 15 tip for what is done to my body. The way I feel when I leave is pure bliss. I’m addicted and have been going every 2 weeks since discovering this place. Peter is my go to guy. I am beyond thrilled that I tried this place out and it’s turned out to be the best massages I’ve ever had!!!

You can’t beat the price! They did a great job! An improvement could be, better ambiance and maybe more essential oil smells.
But! I will defiantly be back!

About 2.5, and mostly because their front desk was so helpful and nice. The massage is forgettable and a lot of random rubbing :(
I wanted to do massages with my girl friend who lives in Arcadia but is car less. As I usually go to SN Thai in long beach, I thought we’d just Unilocal for a place around her so I didn’t have to drive so much. That led us here.
When I called for a massage the girl who answered was so sweet about making sure j could find parking. She told me that the back had 2 spaces for the guests but that otherwise I should park in the Rite Aid lot (slightly past the HSBC and on the right).
Day of, we ended up running slightly late because the actual area was a little more confusing than I expected. The street immediately before the front door is one way only so we couldn’t turn, and the street after didn’t seem to lead to a parking lot at all. I ended up driving in a circle before my friend ended up calling the front, who helped us locate the aforementioned Rite aid.
We ended up being about 15 – 20 min late. They informed us they could still take us, but only for the remainder of the hour and they would charge accordingly. No problem, some massage is better than none.
We ended up getting placed in the couple room and it was SO TINY. I can see it being a good intimate experience for couples but at times it seemed hard for the masseuses to even walk around. The bed was also a bit small– as a 6′ tall woman I slightly hung off the edge :/​
The massage itself was… random. I do a lot of self massage with foam rollers and tennis balls so I think I have an idea of the right pressure areas– around the shoulder blade for upper back, and on the gluteus medius for lower back, for example. My masseuse did follow the area around the shoulder blade and did ok at that, but I swear she actually pressed ON the spine/​raked her knuckles over it at some points. That did not work for me at all– just felt quite awkward, and hurts more after.
However, YMMV? My friend said she liked her massage and it helped her back.
Overall, I may go back to SN Thai soon to fix myself…

Loved the foot massage. It’s a small place but the massage areas are quiet and feel private. The online appointment booking is very convenient. I’ve been there at least 3 times and each time has been good.

Very responsive, friendly and accommodating staff. I had foot aches due to work and the massage was just what I needed. The atmosphere is relaxing — I had a hard time resisting the urge to fall asleep. For the price, you couldn’t ask for better.
The only downside is that they don’t have very much parking space; and sometimes their staff is busy with other customers so there is a wait time.
Fortunately, it’s located in a busy area with plenty of restaurants and bookstores to visit while you’re waiting.

Management was responsive and professional. I look forward to my next visit.

Massage was therapeutic and strong — just as I requested. For the price, I couldn’t have asked for better.
The young man at the front desk was kind and well intentioned, but overly familiar and chatty to the point that it harshed my mellow post-​massage as I waited in the lobby for my friend to complete his massage. Despite obvious cues that I wanted to zone out (including actual words) he kept peppering me with questions and making jokes and demanded my attention during one of the few moments of relaxation I was able to afford myself. Unusual behavior for spa staff and a bummer.
Still 4 stars because my therapist was fabulous.

This was no joke the BEST massage I’ve had in years! They were super accommodating, friendly, professional and nice. Great zen rooms and music. I had Jennifer she hot stone massaged me like a champ! Wow! I was in heaven. She even did my fave and head. You even get a punch card for discounted ass one like aromatherapy. So grateful I found this spot. I will be back! Such a sense of healing. 10 stars!

I was especially pleased with my experience today. I injured my foot and ruptured a vein a few days ago. It was very painful and caused swelling and internal bleeding. I even started having pain in my leg. I made an appointment to go see Dr. Shi. He checked my foot and leg and noticed that the channels leading up my leg to my thighs had been blocked off creating knots probably due to all the internal bleeding. Anyways, not sure about the details but he used acupuncture to get circulation flowing. After he pulled out the needles, he performed a very interesting Chinese technique. He poured Chinese wine into a bowl and set it on fire. He later put out the fire and used that wine and rubbed it all over my injured foot and leg. The swelling went down and the pain decreased. I was so impressed! Dr. Shi knows what he’s doing guys! As uncommon and unfamiliar as his methods might be, it worked! And that’s why I trust coming here instead of going to a generic Dr. It’s all natural. They don’t just write off the pain with chemicals and pills. They figure out what the problem is and work on it in unconventional but natural ways!

I decided to come here to try a new place, as I like to go to the «foot» massage places about every 3 months. I tried this one based on a Unilocal search.
I made an appointment for a foot massage; however, I asked if I could upgrade to 90 minutes instead of 1 hour. They said yes, and only charged me the exact price plus half of the regular hourly rate. That’s right…90 minutes for $ 30. Wow!
I was greeted promptly at the front desk, and taken back to my bed. The beds here are separated by small curtains. Remember folks… this is a value massage concentrated on the upper and lower extremities. You may hear noise from other people that are coming in and out.
The gentleman who gave me my massage was wonderful. I told him to go up or down on pressure depending on where he was massaging. All in all, it was a quiet and wonderful relaxing time.
I would give this place 5 stars based on the value for the price paid.
And one more thing about this place and «foot» massage places in general. Tipping 20% is NOT APPROPRIATE for these types of places. You cannot use restaurant standards on a foot massage place. The appropriate tip is about 50 — 65%. For all those people who get mad at the place when they comment or look at you funny for tipping only 10% to 20%…good! YOU DESERVE IT.
Think about this. These people are working hard and giving you one or more hours of there time. They are working for primarily tips. You cannot use restaurant standards. They are not helping other people at the same time. The price is SO LOW already, that you need to adjust your standards. Be nice, and tip on the true value — not your perception of what is «normal» at a restaurant. (Example: I tipped $ 20 on my $ 30 massage for a total of $ 50. I feel that anywhere from $ 12 — $ 20 is appropriate. Think about that…$ 50 for a 90 minute massage. Awesome)

Today I decided to take a work ditch day and boy was I glad! I normally make my way down to Monterey Park, but since today was an exception and was in dire need of a massage close to home, I used Unilocal to search for me.
To start, Nina, my therapist was amazing! She found every individual knot I had from head to toe! She worked it so hard, I was addicted to her from the start. She started light, asked if I was okay, and when she knew I could tolerate it, she went deeper and harder. Now, you know we all love that! (Wink).
I can honestly say, I am addicted to Nina. Her hands are magical! This is the best work ditch day ever!
