HM Warm Spa

Great place! went for a couple’s massage after a long day of traveling and found their full body work and hot stone massages fantastic! The area looked safe and upscale for tourists like myself looking for a comfortable, safe area to be in. I definitely would come back, it’s worth the money.

If you’ve ever had a massage from a LICENSED masseuse and are wanting therapeutic relief, then you shouldn’t go here. All motion and no technique.

This place was clean, friendly and I received the most amazing full body massage ever! I love that they take cards and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable luxury.

This is my second visit to HM Warm Spa. It’s hard to find a local massage spa with talented therapist but HM warm spa has them. I purchased the 90 minute massage for $ 80 and it is worth every penny. Sophia is an amazing therapist. I love how much attention to detail she pays. She was gentle, yet effective at dissolving those pesky knots. The full body massage even includes hot stones. The stones do a great job of transferring a slow yet steady stream of heat to the tissue. Helps the muscles relax even further. I have to admit my massage today was an all time favorite. I will definitely continue to come to HM Warm Spa. Thanks again Sophia and see you soon!

This place is not good at all the lady at the reception desk is very rude. When we came in she acted liked we were bothering her.
As soon as the ladies finished the massage and open the door the same receptionist said hurry because I need the room. I was not even finished getting dressed and they turned the light on me. Then they require a 15% tip in cash or a 10% tip from the card. On top of all that the MASSAGE WAS NOT EVEN GOOD. I will give her an A for effort but it’s not worth more than 2 stars. But hey what can you expect for $ 25.

I really like this place! I got a gift certificate for my birthday so I went to check it out… I got a 90 minute full body massage for $ 80… The massage was excellent! The masseuse worked hard, the facility was clean, and I got my full 90 minutes of service… it’s simple, but the staff is very friendly and the location is convenient… you can’t beat the value!
I was just scanning the reviews and I noticed something funny… all the one and two star reviews seem to be from people that got the $ 25 foot massage special and seem to be expecting Burke Williams… Give me a break!

Came here a little less than a month ago with the s.o. Reserved a private room for the 90 min deep tissue massage with free hot stones. We had Linda and Cindy (don’t know who had who) and they were just excellent.
Parking was a little bit of a hassle (only 1 hour parking on E. Green St.) but I found out one of the streets (S. Catalina Ave.) allows 2 hour parking so we parked there. We made an appointment ahead of time and were able to come in and go straight into the room.
The private room with the shower is the one closest to the entrance; to the left of the reception desk. They pointed out that that was the room we were to use and once we got in, they just closed the door… at this point we didn’t know what to do; no instructions were given… but then I remembered when I called in to make the reservation, they said it was no clothes.
After undressing and laying on the bed, face in the hole with towel covering, the masseuse comes in and asks if you would like the hot stones and what your pain tolerance is. Whenever I have a chance, I always go for deep tissue massages so I asked for the best she’s got and OHHH MYYY, it was so good I was falling asleep. With both of us having been stressed with work, this was the best thing we could have done for our bodies,
They don’t only put the stones on your back, they also use the stones to massage you. I, honestly, loved the heat and the pressure used. The 90 minutes felt so good, I didn’t know time was going by so fast. I think the stones were used at about the halfway point, before you flip over and they stretch you out. Oh, and they also go on the tables when massaging your back.
Once they are done, they leave the room, giving you time to rinse off in the shower and dress before heading out. Clean towels are provided and as soon as you leave, staff members come in and clean the room and change the towels for the next guests.
One small issue we had was, when I called, the lady who picked up said the 90 minute deep tissue in the private room was $ 50/​person but when we finished up, they were only able to accept cash because their credit card machine was not functioning. While the s. o was heading out to get cash, he asked how much the total was and the lady said $ 160 ($ 80/​person). When asked why it was $ 60 difference, she showed me the pamphlet with the pricing and offered a discount of $ 70/​person because there was a mistake on their end.
I would definitely come back here.

I came in today randomly because I have had a horrible ache in my neck and shoulders for a while now. The woman at the front desk was very sweet and immediately took me to my room. She noticed my belly and asked if I’m pregnant and when I told her yes, she immediately brought me a bunch of pillows for comfort. I had two women work on me. Initially I had a woman, whose name I did not get, she was extremely nice but I prefer firm pressure and she just had the most delicate hands, so I guess she couldn’t do it that hard. However her technique was great.
Maybe 15 minutes into my massage, the masseuse was switched out on me which caught me off guard at first. BUT, I immediately felt the strong hands of the new woman and was very pleased with the change. Her name is May and she is AMAZING. That was the best massage I have ever gotten and I have been to many. She instinctively knew where my problem areas were and focused on those when she came across them. She was also very accommodating. Prenatal massages require you to be laying down on your side, which in my opinion, doesn’t make for a great deep tissue experience. I asked May if I would sit up instead and man oh man she went to town on my neck and shoulders. I’m sore now but I know I will be a new person tomorrow! She was so good that when she told me the massage was over, I begged for an additional 30 minutes and she happily obliged. That’s how good she was!
HIGHLY recommend this place and May specifically if you like deep tissue. This is officially my go-​to massage place!

My man surprised me with a massage here for my birthday and I must say that I wasn’t disappointed!
From the moment you enter the atmosphere is extremely relaxing and calm. They lead you into a dark room with soothing music for the massage. I’ve never had a full body massage before and was a bit nervous about a random person touching me but all my concerns went away once they began. The whole experience was very relaxing and really relieved a lot of tension and aches I had in my body (especially my neck and back) since up until recently I spent around 10 hours a day at a computer for work. My masseuse was quite gentle and I felt no pressure or pain at all. As a person who has ticklish feet I can also say that I didn’t feel ticklish at all when they got to my feet! All in all it was a great experience and a well deserved treat on my birthday!

I’ve been having really long days at work and was looking for an inexpensive way to relax and stumbled upon HM Warm Spa on Unilocal.
This morning I decided I was going to go right after work but I already had plans to meet a friend for dinner, she ended up chosing to just come with me. I called around 2pm and made an appointment for 5:15pm. We walked in were greeted immediately and taken to our room. We scheduled the Extreme Value Massage and it is worth more than the $ 25 I paid. It was a full hour for a full body massage. I literally feel asleep at one point I was so relaxed.
It was really an excellent experience and I would definitely come back and do it again.

Visited today for the second time and absolutely loved the massage again. But the woman at the front desk is extremely extremely rude. After a nice massage, I didn’t expect to leave and be greeted by an attitude. She didn’t like that we were paying with debit card and gave us a nasty look and said «next time no card». If they want people to know that they prefer cash, then she should’ve let me know when I called.
The massage was great minus the rude lady at the front desk.
I’ll think twice about returning.

I think this is a great massage place. It is the usual Chinese reflexology but you can get undressed (bra and underwear on) so that you are more comfortable.
The ambiance is nice as well. I think you should give it a try. You can’t go wrong for $ 25

YAY a massage place nearby with an inexpensive price tag! I’m always too lazy to drive to Monterey Park for a cheap massage and I’m so happy to have found this place. After a morning of cleaning, my arms were sore and my body ached and coming here was the perfect solution!
The place is very clean and quiet. I had a 60 minute body massage and it was WONDERFUL. Candy? Cathy? did a really good job of getting out all the knots from my back. I want to try their I felt so relaxed after. I will definitely be coming back!
I just wish they had a better appointment system than writing down phone numbers. Maybe names? Even though I called, they didn’t have my phone number written down on the appointment log. Luckily, they were still able to fit in me in.
If you park on Catalina, South of Green, the parking is for 2 hours but be careful because Pasadena is notorious for parking tickets!

Love this place. Have brought my husband, friends, and mom here multiple times. The woman (who I am assuming is the owner??) is always so nice and the workers are all very good at what they do! I like the private rooms they have and I love that it’s so clean. I don’t feel gross going in and coming out.
It’s very affordable considering how big, clean, and good quality this place is. I’ve tried the 25 dollar option and am going to try the other ones too.
I just came back from getting a massage with my mom and I’m honestly thinking of when I can go back to get another massage…

These reviews are accurate — I would not recommend another place in the area. Their massage quality is amazing (and I have been to medical massage therapists regularly elsewhere and many really nice spas) for the body and foot massage 1 hour combo.
After my last visit (last one of the day), I got to hang out and see how the owner and massage therapists interact with each other. They’re all happy. The owner does book keeping to keep tally of everyone’s appointments and pays out the tips appropriately. The massage therapists all like each other, joke with each other, and with the owner. Like any workplace, the more you like working there and the people you work with, the more effort you put behind your work.
Although I can’t vouch for all therapists or guarantee that everyone’s massages will be 5-​star, I was pleasantly surprised by the feeling of family between the owner and staff here and how they value customer service, and I feel that joy from them based on the quality of the massages I’ve had.

After traveling international, my body ached with the long flights and backpacking. I needed a back massage ASAP and found this via Unilocal!I called right when they opened and took me in at 10:15am. They did such a good job without me being too harsh. I got the one that included hot stones & oil. I feel so much better and can’t wait to come back again!

I’ve tried out at least a dozen of these inexpensive massage parlors over the years in the Pasadena area and this past experience was by far the best yet.
Before I decided to do a walk-​in I was at home in pain trying to rub out a stubborn shoulder knot while debating on whether or not to take my chances on a new spot. Glad I did because my masseuse, Sophia, was just the remedy I needed, she destroyed the knot in the most relaxing manner. She didn’t just knead me mindlessly like a piece of raw meat; a lot of the other places nearby do. Her technique felt knowledgeable and experienced which is uncommon when you’re only paying $ 25 for an hour! Worth every cent and more. I will definitely be a regular from now on.

A pretty nice place, only a couple quirks.
Pros:
+ Pretty good prices.
+ The rooms are private and quiet.
+ Very friendly and honest staff. My wife left a tip, and the staff called us believing she had instead accidentally left too much money.
+ Great face massage.
+ Very nice hot stone massage — not sure how the masseuse can hold those rocks.
Cons:
— The massage can get awkward if you’re not expecting it, i.e. the masseuse climbing on the table and you find a clothed butt in your face. Make sure to communicate to the masseuse what you want and what you don’t.

The company offers a couple’s massage for $ 100 it’s a large soothing room with soft music playing in the background and low dimmed lighting which includes your own personal shower complete with towels, slippers, shampoo and body lotion. Sofia and Lily truly have magic hands relieving our tension/​stress, we ended up falling asleep until we were awaken with our surprise that our massage came to an end, I wished it continued a little longer. We still laid in our beds in awe of the relaxation we received. It truly was a comfortable massage. Amy (owner) is an amazing, friendly person, very attentive and courteous.
I thank Amy and her staff for the great service and we look forward to our next massage.
