I just purchased a vehicle and needed a key FOB made as I only had valet key. They were able to come to my job and make while I worked. They even made me the master key fob. I am so pleased with the service I received from Auto Locksmith. I def would recommend to family and friends!

Saturday evening as I get home … Im hungry and got fresh pizzas in my back seat.

Great service! I needed a spare key made for my Prius and I believe the techs name is Ori did a great job making a spare set. Met him in Oaklands Chinatown in a safe neighborhood. Ori was having issues with his equipment but still made the spare keys. You can trust Auto Locksmith for your locksmith needs.

Great company with a professional level of service. They’re reliable and provide a good product and/​or service. These folks have bailed me out a couple times and I am sure they will bail me out again in the future. Hopefully later than sooner hahha. With that said, place your worries at ease and give them a call. With competitive pricing for a professional and reliable service, Auto Locksmith is hard to beat. They rarely drop the ball.

I have a 2010 Toyota Venza with a smart key system and I lost the keys. I called up Auto Locksmith who gave me a time and cost which was much lower than what Toyota quoted me. Joe (from Auto Locksmith) arrived on time and quickly guided me through everything. I was up and running within 30 minutes.
I hope I never loose these keys again (they are expensive to reprogram). But if I do, thank god I don’t have look around on whom to call. Thank you Joe… I owe you one!

Excellent customer service! Dispatcher was very friendly, and the service tech (Eli) was great! It took him a while, but he got the keys cut correctly.
If you’re in the Bay Area, don’t go anywhere else.

The dude was pretty quick, got my car open quickly and even gave me a jump because my car battery had died. While I hope I never need to use their services again, if I do, I’ll consider giving them a call.

Lost my only car key (2002 Toyota Corolla). Eli arrived within forty minutes of my call, and in another thirty I had two perfect car keys for about $ 160. Easy, professional, and fast. Will recommend to keyless friends.

My switchblade key broke for my Volvo, and I called Volvo to find out how much it would cost to fix. On top of the $ 450+ that they wanted for new switchblade key, or $ 280+ for just the valet key, I would have had to take a taxi 25 miles from my home to the nearest Volvo dealership, pay in person, then take a taxi 25 miles back home. The next day, I would have to get my car towed 25 miles so they could reprogram the key. Only then, would I actually have the ability to drive my car again. Only after 50 miles of taxi service, and 25 miles of tow service, on top of the $ 280 for the valet key. No, there had to be a better way.
I called around to automotive locksmiths that serviced my area, not one answered. I left messages, but no one ever got back to me. I sent an e-​mail to one of them, who told me they couldn’t help me because my car was a volvo. This was after I got their number from a page that specifically said they could make keys for the exact make and model of my car. I was angry.
So, I looked outside of my area, hoping I could find a Locksmith with compassion to help me out, or maybe one that would rip me off a little, but I’d still end up paying less than what I would with Volvo. My first call was Auto Locksmith in Oakland, and when I asked if they serviced Livermore, his answer really made me feel better. «Well, let me hear what’s going on and see if I can either help you out, or find a solution closer to you that can help you.». I told him a bit about the situation, though not as much as I thought I may need to. He said he’d talk to his tech and contact me back.
He called me back in less around 10 minutes, and quoted me a price that was below Volvo’s price. I *certainly* wasn’t being ripped off, and I knew that immediately. I was told that there could be issues that may make it cost more, but that if that happened, I’d be given two keys. There was no mention of just how far away I was, and that didn’t add any to the price. I was called later and told that the tech said he is worried he’d be later than expected, which was fine with me.
My tech was Jo, and he contacted me and told me when he’d be leaving Oakland for Livermore, and told me how long google said it would take. He was coming during rush hour, and it took quite a long time, but the fact that he did this at all made me very, very appreciative. I can’t tell you how well I was treated through this entire experience, and how far out of their way the company, and ultimately Jo himself, went to help me out. I was charged exactly what I was quoted, which was again under the price that I was quoted by Volvo. The key I was given works flawlessly. I do hope the tip that I gave Jo made up for the hassle of driving to my home during rush hour.

I desperately needed a chipped spare key for my car in case I accidentally lock out my keys inside the car again. I searched in Unilocal and found Auto Locksmith. I called and a sweet voice responded. I told her what I wanted and she responded clearly and gave me a time frame to expect someone to come (Daniel). To my surprise, Daniel came earlier than I was expecting him. He did everything in his mobile workshop (duplicated the key and programmed it as well). Much to my delight, on top of the chipped/​programmed key, I even got an extra manual key (this one would only open the doors for me but will not start the car). So Kudos to Auto Locksmith for a job well done! The price? Not as high as the dealers would charge you!
Highly recommended place to get a working spare keys for everything that uses keys!

Had to use these guys a second time, since I’m sooo good at losing keys, and I was impressed again. Quick & professional.

I left my car keys in an Über car and the driver said he couldn’t find them so I had to get new keys as I did not have a spare. I called Mazda dealership for a quote and they quoted me over $ 300 for JUST the parts. I almost fainted when I heard that! Who knew car keys could be so expensive. I found this place on Unilocal and gave them a call hoping to schedule an appointment for the next day. When I called, they said they were able to come within the next 2 hours! Isn’t that crazy?! Well, our tech was very nice and apologetic, but I waited about 4 hours. I was beginning to think I was being pranked at one point. However, once Jo got there he was very professional and got straight to work. It took a bit longer than usual he said, but I got new car keys! Just knocking down 1 star for the wait time.

I was locked out of my car at 10 pm, thank god for Jo and Auto Locksmith.
They got someone over to me ASAP as I explained that I was in a dress in a shady neighborhood. The operator stayed on the phone with me and they got me back on the road in no time. came out to about $ 80 or so, and it was totally worth it! Saved me.

Great service– a little late in terms of timing, but stellar service and pricing compared to other places. They were able to program a new key for my 2009 Corolla within 20 minutes (I only had one key).
Technicians were very competent and cheerful. I would highly recommend them.

INCREDIBLE! My motorcycle keys had been stolen a day before and I was sent on a wild goose chase from one dealer to lock smith to dealer to lock smith and decided to just check on Unilocal.That’s when I found Auto Locksmith and am beyond glad I did! They went above and beyond to get the job done. My bike gave them some trouble, but not only one but THREE locksmiths came by to make sure the job would get done no matter what! I was immensely impressed with my main locksmith Eli for never giving up! Not only were the locksmiths great but also the amazingly friendly and helpful woman on the phone (sorry i dont remember the name) They are officially my go to!
Just a side note: I don’t usually write Unilocal reviews but after my experience with Auto Locksmith I had to write a review! I was afraid it would take days before I would be able to get a new set of keys for my motorcycle but they got it done right away!

After calling the Toyota dealership to get my toyota smart chip (key) programmed, I realized that waiting 3 days for an appointment that would take hours was not an option for me. I went to Unilocal and found these guys who scheduled a same day appointment (less than 2 hours from my call). They came to my house and the total time for the appointment itself was about a half hour. Oh. Did I mention that they were hecka cheaper than the dealership? They were! Jo was the person who came out and he was very professional and friendly. I recommend them highly and if need be, will use their services again.

These guys responded same day when we lost our Passatt key, were communicative when they had to change the time, and technician Jay created two keys which have worked perfectly. Def recommend!

I found Auto Locksmith on Unilocal and was glad I did. We have a recent model Toyota Camry that requires a transponder chip key to drive the car. My son has a knack for misplacing things including his keys, so for peace of mind, we wanted to get a couple of back up keys made.
Auto Locksmith was very responsive and called me to let me know that they were running late and called me again when they where on there way.
Jay did a fantastic job when he came out. Jay clearly knew his stuff and explained how transponder keys worked. He cut and programmed the transponder keys and then tested both the new keys and my original keys to make sure they all worked. It took only about 15 minutes.
