I was locked out of my house at 4am… I’m a bartender. I realized I left everything inside my home! No phone… NOTHING! Walked back to my work thankfully my Co worker was there… called a 24 hr locksmith they said they would be there and so my Co worker and I left back to my place they company calls me back and says no one is around my area :-(it’s 4:30am!!! Luckily my buddy lives close by… Mike this am literally saved me!!! He was so kind on the phone and got here ASAP! I am truly appreciated by his kindness and will recommend his business to anyone!!! He was not expensive at all!!! Thank you… I’m going back to bed. Hahahaha

A friend of mine was stranded with a broken Jeep key. I called from 400 miles away to get her some help. Mike had her up and running in less than ninety minutes.
The Jeep dealer would have been three times the price and would have taken a day and a half.

Great service. My wife had her car broken into along with her house keys and ID with address on a Saturday. We wanted to change our home locks. I didn’t request emergency service or any rush but Mike was at our house in about 30 minutes and changed out 7 locks in even less time. Hassle free, quick and he was friendly to our dogs. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would get robbed again.

Thanks to Mike with Econolock, locking myself out of the house on an early Saturday morning was not super stressful. A neighbor let me borrow their phone & I randomly selected Econolock & am so glad I did. Mike rolled up within the promised 30 minutes and within 5 minutes, I was in my home. We found ourselves locked out (with 2 small kids) after a walk early saturday morning. I randomly chose Econolock from a google search. Mike first tried to help me over the phone and was patient even with another call on hold. He was out quicker than estimated and fixed our problem in no time. Very thankful. I would not recommend this company. I payed $ 180 to have the locks on my home re-​keyed by Mike. That night I noticed that the knob was not locking. I called him and he said, «It was nothing I did, I can fix it but I’ll have to charge you more…»
Maybe it wasn’t his fault, although he had removed the entire lock from the door. Still, if I call a professional locksmith to my house, I expect him to tell me that my knob is not locking before he leaves the job. Did he not test it?

After a miserable night being stranded in Point Reyes National seashore, I lost my keys. Luckily we found a ride back to Olema.
My car had overheated. The radiator cap was gone and I was miles away from civilization.
Mike to the rescue. He drove all the way from Novato, brought a radiator cap, anti-​freeze, picked me up from the hotel, gave me a ride to the car, made the key in under 10 minutes and followed me out of the park to make sure I made it out alright.
That is SERVICE. He was professional, kind and a God send.

These guys are the best. I tried two other locksmiths first, and there is just no comparison. Mike is knowledgeable, fast, and high-​tech. Other locksmiths tried for over an hour to make a key and still couldn’t do it. Econolock had it done in 20 minutes! And to top it all off, Econolock had lower prices than everyone else… PLUS I got a huge AAA discount!

Called on a Saturday afternoon (!) from the yellow pages and Mike (the owner) answered. He said he’d be over in one hour, but arrived in just 50 minutes. He quoted me for fixing and rekeying our ancient lock over the phone.
He fixed (replaced springs and things inside) and rekeyed the lock (he said it was 30 years old) and we are good for another 30 years. All for $ 65.
Mike put the service in the service economy. Take a lesson all ye «service providers!»

The Econolock dude was a vital part in getting my life back to normal after my keys, wallet, and phone were stolen out my gym locker. Ironically, the beefy lock I’d paid top dollar for to secure my valuables at the storage place was now keeping me from getting to my passport and thus reclaiming my identity.
I called a few places on Monday morning hoping someone could get the lock cut off that afternoon. Most said they couldn’t help me until the next day, and of the places that were available, they said they wouldn’t be able to get through the lock unless a power outlet was nearby, which unfortunately was not the case.
The Econolock dude said he was very familiar with the type of lock and said he’d get it off one way or another. We set a time for 3 and at 3:05 he called to say he’d be there in a bit. After arriving and taking a look, he prepared me for a wait, but after 20 minutes he’d managed to cut through the sucker on a battery-​powered drill. Bill was $ 89.

Well my keys vanished forever and I called every god damned locksmith in Marin. One finally answered and the woman said she would take my number and ‘he’ would call me back later. I wanted to know how much it was going to cost. She said «I can’t answer any questions.» She was actually just a big bitch.
I waited around for awhile and got no call. Then I spotted Econolock under a weird category in the phone book and I gave them a call. The guy was super nice, quick, patient and helpful. He told me how much it would cost and then was totally cool with waiting for my friend with AAA to show up (thanks, Ben) so I could get the discount. He got to my house (which is terribly hard to find in the dark) about half an hour after I called him. What a lifesaver.
When I went back inside, I had a voicemail from the other guy. He said he «wouldn’t be able to do a lock-​out tonight». Lame city, Greg.
