Located in the heart of Lower Manhattan, we treat your dogs and cats like our own. Paws on Pine knows it is difficult and stressful to find someone to care for your pets while at work or traveling. We are THE service you can trust. We don’t believe in «pack» dog walks. Your dog shouldn’t be spending their «walking» time riding up and down in elevators or waiting in lobbies when they could be outside. With updates and pictures sent by text and/​or e-​mail after every walk or visit, you will never worry about your pets’ happiness and safety. Business Owner

Heather Curatolo is a born-​and-​bred New Yorker and animal lover. She spent years working in overly demanding jobs and felt something was missing. Heather decided to follow her passion and started a dream job of working with pets. One of her dogs, Bebop, a French bulldog, had cancer and soon after, was paralyzed for almost three months. Being able to give her almost 24-​hour care made Heather happy and fulfilled. Sadly, Bebop is no longer with us but was a huge inspiration in starting Paws on Pine along with Doxy the Dachshund who crossed the Rainbow Bridge as well. A long-​time resident of the Financial District, she lives with her husband Andrew.

Heather at Paws on Pine is the consummate professional and her cat sitters are completely reliable! We are so happy to have found them. We had some travel planned, and it was so hard to leave our adorable kittens. But we were in good hands! We got daily text updates with pictures, and it was clear they were well taken care of upon our return. Paws on Pine is the way to go!

Excellent. Heather — the owner and point person — is very responsive by email. They seem to have good availability during holidays and on short notice. She’s also honest: when I overpaid without realizing it, she let me know and paid me back right away.
I’ve never had any problems with them. Every visit has been excellent. No worries and no hassles.

One of my biggest concerns about moving to the city was finding someone to watch my (spoiled) cat. Heather and her team of professionals have put me at ease. They are so organized, accommodating and professional. I can go away with not a worry now. Even if the regular sitter is not avail I know I will get the same service with whoever she assigns. Paying with Chase Quikpay is so easy and I love getting the texts with pictures after each visit! Thanks Heather!

The team at Paws on Pine can be trusted to go well-​beyond the ‘tangibles’ of what most other pet care services provide. Chief among the ‘intangibles’ for me is, does the care giver take every opportunity to bond with your pet and create a lasting relationship? The curator, Heather, takes her craft seriously and insists on making the experience as great as it could be.
Going on vacation guilt-​free relative to how your pet is doing in your absence is such a relief, it actually enhances your vacation.

I was living downtown on a temp assignment and needed someone to walk my Frenchie during the day and dogsit for some overnights. Heather was super responsive from my initial inquiry rught up until the day of Teeb’s last walk. She and Ben came to my apartment before the first dogsitting weekend and took copious notes as I walked them through the daily routine. Easily reachable by text and extremely flexible I was comfortable that I had found a partner in the city who would help make sure my lil guy was taken care of!

We were paired with Xavi as our cat sitter and could not be happier! We were traveling abroad and had great peace of mind knowing that Xavi was looking after our cat. Photos and updates each day and we could see how she was cared for and played with! Xavi did an amazing job and really engaged our feline in some quality game time. The owner of this company, Heather, has managed to hire the most responsible, caring, and just all around awesome dog walkers! I’ve personally been paired with Sam and Mike and I trust them both implicitly. Each of the walkers arrives promptly and always checks in to see if Betty needs any medication or treats. On their walks, they take pictures of Betty and text them to me. I’m pretty sure these guys are professional photographers because I can’t get Betty to look at the camera to save my life but they send me perfect shots of my little pup. After the walk they text to tell me if Betty did her business. They’ve also been super accommodating with some of my «mommy fails» when I need someone last minute. Prices are superb! If you really want your pup in the very best hands, Paws on Pine is the way to go!

We were recommended to Paws On Pine by our dog trainer, and we couldn’t be happier with them. They really came to the rescue when we found ourselves 3 days away from Christmas travel without a sitter for our two Jack Russell Terriers. The POP owner, Heather, arranged for us to meet a sitter that same day who had just become available due to a cancellation. He was professional, courteous and a great communicator — we received several texts and photos each day with updates. We came home to two happy dogs, and our apartment was immaculate. It has been a pleasure working with Heather and her team — we enthusiastically recommend Paws On Pine.

We’ve been using Paws on Pine for about 6 months now and they have been GREAT! Our kitty takes medication 2x a day so his care isn’t super easy and I get stressed about it. I know I can trust the crew and Paws on Pine and they have always been there on time, taken care of pills and everything else. We’ve had Sarah, Sam and Heather all come in and each time they send a nice status update with a bunch of pics. I love that. It means everything to be able to trust the crew. A great operation all around, highly recommend. We won’t use anyone else!

We’ve been using Paws on Pine since our pup first started needing walks. Heather and her team are phenomenal. She is so flexible with our schedules and always available when we need her. They are so sweet to our pup Oscar and anytime he sees his walkers he drops down on his back for a belly rub. He loves them! Paws on Pine is a top, top, top quality pet service. I couldn’t possibly put into words how amazing Paws on Pine has been to us and our dog. We never had a walker in the city before– Coal can be difficult to walk as his hound dog nose gets the better of him sometimes, and we didn’t think pack walks would be fitting. After Paws on Pine was recommended to us by several people in our building, the rave reviews and individual walks had us sold. Heather came to do an initial meet and greet and her love for dogs just radiated. Coal has some separation anxiety and we have always been very mindful about his care while we have to be away. We know with Paws on Pine that our dog is in the best hands. We love getting the post-​walk texts and pictures letting us know how much fun Coal had on his walk around the neighborhood.
What has always stood out to me about Paws on Pine though isn’t just the care that we know our dog receives when he is with them, but the way that every walker carries themselves when I seem them out in our building or in the neighborhood. They always have a smile on their faces and if they see me with Coal, they introduce themselves and say hello. It’s always nice to put a friendly face with the sweet texts we receive and to know that its not a front– these are genuine people who have a passion for animals!

Paws On Pine is such a wonderful, caring, sweet and accommodating dog walking company. Coming from a bad last experience with a previous dog walker, I thought I would be more nervous to try another company, but from the instant I met the owner Heather, I knew my dog Berkley would be in great hands. Berkley has a wonderful dog walker, Nick, who sends me the best pictures of their walks every day. I probably look forward to her walks more than she does because I can’t wait for the pictures :) They are also super accommodating with my ever changing schedule and last minute requests! It’s such a wonderful feeling to know that my fur child is in safe, loyal and trustworthy hands every day. I recommend Paws On Pine to anyone and everyone in the area!

If I could give this 100 stars I would! The first weekend of June my husband and I were going away and our regular cat sitter had canceled on us on THURSDAY (we were leaving that Friday morning)! Needless to say I was desperate to find someone to take care of my two kittens. Thank God I stumbled upon Paws on Pine!
Heather, the owner, is the best! She set me up with Sarah, an AMAZING cat sitter who took wonderful care of our kittens! She went to see them twice a day and sent us text messages with MANY pics of them after every visit! Sooo sweet!
I highly recommend them! Peace of mind is truly priceless!

Paws on pine is such a great company. I have worked with many of their walkers and we have had great experiences with all of them! I have two very stubborn french Bulldogs and each walker has worked great with my girls. Every time we use paws on pine the walker texts us updates on how our dogs did and they send photos. It’s very comforting knowing what great hands we leave our dogs in. They also ask prior to working with you if there are any specific requests that you have when they are with your pets
Each time I have booked walks they have been rather last minute and heather is always so accommodating and always fits us in. I really recommend using paws on pine! You won’t regret it!

I moved to NYC with my best friend and dog, Noodle, a 7 year old Maltese, back in November. Working long hours in soho I knew that I would need a dog walker to help noodle get through the days. I found Paws on Pine through their website and shortly after I reached out Heather came over to meet Noodle. It was friendship at first site. It eased my mind immediately because heather came into my apt and got down on the floor and asked to play with Noodle. Noodle ran over, tail wagging, and it was clear this was someone I could trust with my puph.
Noodle gets walked daily, m-​f, by Danielle and she brightens my day by sending a picture or two of noodle and an update of how the walk went.
I couldn’t be more pleased with Paws on Pine and would highly recommend them to others!
