Pawfect Love Pet Care

I can’t say enough of Pawfect Love Pet Care. I love knowing exactly when the sitter checks in, and you can tell she really loves animals and actually spends some quality time with them. I also love that I always get the same sitter (Elise is the best!). The pricing is reasonable, and Julia is really responsive and friendly. Love love love!

I couldn’t give a full 5 stars, but it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t still recommend Pawfect Love Pet Care. My cat was well taken care of when I was gone for a week, and the price was very reasonable. Julia was very responsive to all emails and helpful in setting up the process. She made it all very easy and I knew my cat would be fine while I was gone.
My only complaint was the attention to detail on a couple of items. I realize that the actual person who fed her wasn’t there for the instructions portion, so that may have been part of the problem, but I did then relay all of the information when we met up later to set up the swipe card. In particular, I left a note by the bowls and spoons with a few items that I had also mentioned during the visit that weren’t followed, including:
1) I both showed and wrote down a note about a water bowl on the window sill in the back room that I asked to be refilled. This was bone dry when I got home.
2) I had requested that the food bowl and spoon be changed when they got dirty or when the leftover wet food started to dry and get stuck to it. I said this both verbally and in writing and had said that the fresh bowls and spoons would be left out. I left them right above where the wet food is stored in plain sight. However, when we returned, it was clear that none of the bowls or spoons had been used (they were where I left them underneath the note, unmoved) and the original bowl was still being used. By our return, there was a lot of food crusted on and it smelled bad.
Both of these may have been my fault for not being explicit enough, so perhaps it was on my end, but I would have appreciated if these had been done.
Besides that though, no complaints. Would still recommend. Just perhaps be 100% clear with any instructions.

Julia made me feel really comfortable about leaving my cats in her teams care. I’ve never used a sitter before so I was a bit nervous but she made me feel at ease especially with the daily pictures I would get of my cats. I definitely recommend using Pawfect Love!

Wonderful service every time! I have asked Julia and her team to cat sit, whenever I have to go out of town on business/​vacation. They utilize technology to update me for every visit and Julia responds to emails very quickly. Very reliable service and highly recommended!

The Pawfect Love Pet Care team take great care of our pups. They walk, feed, and even give them their medication (when needed). We get updates after every walk and Julia (owner) is very responsive.

Julia was amazing! She was very attentive to our three cats, one of whom is medically fragile, and provided daily pictures and updates while we were out of town. We will definitely be using her services in the future.

Pawfect Love Pet Care taught me over several months how to administer subcutaneous fluids to my cat, shortly after he was first diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. I had had a lady come before from another company, but I was so impressed with Pawfect’s owner, Julia. Julia was much more knowledgeable than the lady from the other company, and Julia was also extremely calm, professional and unruffled around my kitty.
He’s not even a particularly aggressive cat, but he doesn’t like subQs; at first he would try to run every time we administered them. The first subQ lady must not have had a great deal of experience compared to Julia. Every time my cat tried to run from her she seemed overwhelmed; after that happened twice, she said, «I don’t think this is going to be possible.» !!!
What was I supposed to do, just let my cat die! Scheduling didn’t work out with her anyway, so I called Julia. Never once did Julia say it would be impossible to administer the fluids, and she seemed to expect my cat’s frightened behavior. Whenever it didn’t work, she would very calmly and cheerfully say, «It’s ok. It will happen. Let’s try…» We tried various things, and Julia’s calm energy helped calm me down. Finally we found a routine that worked for my cat.
I highly recommend Pawfect Love Pet Care.

Julia and her team are amazing! For the last two years, Julia and her team have provided reliable and compassionate care for our little kitties. We get detailed updates of each visit. Recently we had a friend commit to taking care of our kitties and to say the least, they were not taken care of! I reached out to Julia and she reassured me that Helen could come that same day.
Helen found our kitties without water or food and very unhappy. She stayed extra time, cleaned up and provided our kitties with much needed love. Last time we let someone else besides Julia and her wonderful team take care of our kitties while were away.
I highly recommend Pawfect Love Pet Care… they are purrrfect! haha :)

Julia and Ariana were organized and responsive. They communicated consistently and made me feel confident that my cat was well cared for while I was away. The little guy seemed pretty happy when I got back, and even looked like he had slimmed down a bit. I will definitely use Pawfect Love again.

I have two difficult boss cats with some health issues and special feeding. Julia and her team have been reliable and trustworthy. On my first trip to Europe for 10 days, I found one of my cats distressed and sick. Julia reimbursed my vet bill. This year I went to Europe for another 10 days and my cats appeared to be in good spirits and no signs of distress when I returned.

Pawfectlove has been a godsend. Thanks to them I’m able to keep my doggie despite a very demanding work schedule with lots of evening events. I trust Julia and her team to walk, feed and show my doggie some love. Their petchecktechnology is very helpful and alerts me when the dog walker arrives and when she returns with my dog. The walkers also give you feedback on anything eventful during the walks, it certainly gives me piece of mind. Pawfect Love Pet Care is simply the best. They are trustworthy, reliable, responsive and caring.

Julia and her team are great! Have used them for many out of town occasions and she is always very responsive and truly take care of our two dogs.

Our first experience with a dog walking service and it’s been great. Walker checks in real time when arriving/​leaving, provides GPS, and leaves comments on every walk. Scheduling is flexible and convenient. Would recommend to anyone seeking a good and reliable walking service.

Found on Unilocal the week before I had to leave town & needed a sitter for my cat. Julia responded to my inquiry email quickly & we set up a meeting time. Julia & Ariana were nice and I knew my cat would be in good hands. Got daily emails with check ins/​updates. My cat usually has some separation anxiety when I am out of town but he was calm upon my return and no suprises were left around the apartment! Will definitely use again when I have to go out of town!

Just wanted to update my last post. I’ve now been using Julia from Pawfect for about a year and I can’t say how great it has been! I never hesitate to leave town now; we recently took a two-​week trip and Julia stayed the whole time, and I felt so secure that my pup was in great hands the whole time. My dog is really wary of people and just LOVES Julia. Her demeanor with animals is so relaxing to them. And I swear my house always looks cleaner than when I left it when I return home. :-)
I couldn’t recommend Pawfect any more highly!

I have thought about writing this review for quite some time and it was about one year ago that I used Pawfect love pet care to take care of my two cats. I’ve finally decided to tell my story because I would hate for anybody’s pets to be neglected. My story goes like this:
I used this service twice. The first time no issues. I was away for 4 – 5 days and I came home to two loving cats that seemed healthy and happy. Water bowl was full and the two food bowls empty and clean on the counter.
The second trip I was away for two weeks in Europe. I came home to find one of my cats, Rex, much bigger in size. My boyfriend and I could not believe our eyes. There was no water bowl to seen. Only one bowl half full with dry food and the second bowl empty except for crumbs remaining from the dry food. I was shocked! Where was their water!!! As soon as I put water down for them they drank like crazy!!! SERIOUSLY, CHLOE DID NOT STOP DRINKING THAT WHOLE NIGHT. Poor thing, I felt terrible. Dehydration is a serious issue and this is one reason I feed my cats wet food as well as the dry food.
First of all I have to say that Rex loves to eat! And my other cat Chloe takes her time so we have to monitor their feeding as Rex will steal Chloe’s food. Both cats get wet and dry food two times a day with fresh water. It takes about 20 mins for Chloe to finish her food and they do ALWAYS finish. We do not over feed our cats.
I hired this company to spend two 30 min visits per day with Chloe & Rex. I went over everything with Julia and how their feeding HAS TO BE monitored. So how is it that I come home to find food remaing? And NO WATER??? Pawfect Love Pet Care decided to do things their way by filling up ttheir two feeding bowls with a substantial amount of dry food. Perhaps this was done so they could reduce the amount of vists my cats received. I feel as though my cats were cheated. I would NEVER EVER do business with these people again. They CLEARLY Do Not Care about people’s pets. Certainly not Chloe & Rex.
Oh yeah, that last visited I requested somebody water the one plant I owned. Guess What??? That plant was dead when I got home. It’s terrible to pay for a service and people just not give a damn. They are in the wrong business.

I recently needed a pet sitter to come check on my 2 cats while I was out of town for a few days. I had previously used a different company a couple years ago and at the time thought they were great, but after now having using Pawfect Love Pet Care I can honestly say they are the absolute best!
As any pet owner knows, it can be pretty nerve-​wrecking trusting someone you don’t really know to take care of your pets, and also to give them access to your home while you are away. Julia and Rebekah made me feel completely comfortable and at ease from their very first visit. They both came weeks in advance of my trip to see my apartment, meet both of my cats and ask all sorts of questions (some of which I wouldn’t have even thought to mention myself!) about each cat, what would take place during each visit and anything I specifically wanted done. They provided me with paperwork to fill out which also contained insurance information for the company, and Julia then made a 2^nd visit to my apartment prior to my trip to pick up my keys and answer any additional questions. She is also great with follow-​up communication and email, getting back to me quickly with any questions I had.
Once Rebekah came for the first visit, she brought a magnetic QR code which she scans at her arrival and at the time she leaves; each automatically sending me an email notification that she was there, along with a note letting me know how the visit went and giving me any updates. Payment was also very easy online, and their rates are very reasonable, especially considering I live in Harlem (many other pet care companies I’ve looked into won’t provide in home visits past the UWS).
Overall, I cannot say enough good things and highly recommend Julia and Rebekah!

Julia helped watch my dog while I was on vacation. For some reason, Manhattan has a funny way of attracting dog walkers or dog sitters with attitudes or unreasonably prices, which led to an exhaustive search for the care of my pup. This was not the case with Julia. She was extremely professional over the phone and in person, and was patient with answering all of my questions.
Recommend highly.

Julia is just the best. We have a very energetic pup and knew she would need attention midday to keep her happy (and our house in tact!). We had never used a dog walking service before and upon meeting Julia, I knew her calm demeanor would be a perfect match. The Pet Check technology is great! It’s helpful to know in real time when our dog gets her walks, plus we get personalized recaps (#1 or #2 and any fun happenings). I especially love that she sends cute photos of their walks together. Julia visited recently with her new hire and it was so cute to see how excited our dog was to see her. You can tell she’s built a great relationship. We trust her fully! I highly recommend to anyone!

Julia is too good to be true! First of all, she’s one of the only people who Sylvester was (almost) comfortable with from the first time she walked in the door. He gets a little nervous, but her calm, quiet demeanor earned his approval right away. And of course Sylvester’s outgoing, nutty sister Bozo thinks Julia is super awesome.
Julia has been so flexible with our crazy travel schedule. I don’t know what we would do without her. She’s great about last-​minute requests.
This weekend we came back from 2-​days away, and my BF said, «Wow, Julia even swept the litter bits off the floor in the bathroom — she didn’t have to do that!» Honestly, I think she leaves our kitty bathroom cleaner than she found it.
