Mariko was born in Southern California and moved to New York City after graduating college. After many years of working in real estate, I decided to follow my passion for animals and start a job working with my favorite furry creatures. I grew up with Shiba Inus as a kid and have always loved all animals.

Mariko walks my dog Lucy regularly and does a phenomenal job. Lucy is kind of picky with her humans but not Mariko, she instantly fell in love with her and her walks are possibly her favorite part of the day. Not only does she put me at ease when she looks after her, but we also had Mariko make her a custom hoodie that she now lives in.
Would easily recommend Mariko and Pawmiscuous to anyone looking for a dog walker, pet sitter and doggie apparel maker.

I’m very grateful for Mariko. She truly took care of Chloe as if she was her own. It’s very clear that Mariko absolutely loves animals, dogs especially. I really appreciated the pictures she sent me of her walks with Chloe. I recommend her to everyone I know (with a dog)!

Mariko is the best! I left my dog with her for 3 days last month and she was trustworthy, attentive and I feel totally comfortable leaving Sam, (who requires medication twice a day), with her. He loves Mariko! She even makes homemade healthy treats for dogs and Sam loves them. I would 100% recommend Pawmiscuous for dogwalking and dogsitting services.

I know how your pets become your children so it is very important to find someone that you trust! I have used Pawmiscuous several times and am so happy to find someone I can count on to take care of my little fur ball. Nowadays its so costly to kennel your dog or find a babysitter, but Pawmiscuous is worth what they charge! Mariko has babysat my little Pomeranian when I was away on vacation for a week, She stayed at my apartment and made sure my dog was well taken care of. The best part is you can also trust her with your HOME! I am a neat freak and she left my apartment just how I had left it and with my dog happy and tuckered out from all the love and attention she gave. Totally recommend and would be happy to use her services again.
