Kitty Cavalier’s School of Charm and Cheek

I met Kitty at a vintage dance event, and was immediately struck by her warm and welcoming presence. She told me about her school, and I was intrigued. It is rare that I would just agree to sign up for a class with an almost perfect stranger in something called «the School of Charm and Cheek.» I was wondering if it would be some kind of glorified burlesque class, or a sales tactic for something that she was selling. My cynicism was misplaced. It has turned out to be one of the most worthwhile experiences I’ve ever had.
The School of Charm and Cheek is all about learning what it is to be a «Femme Vitale.» She engages the group in a series of fun and playful activities that are intended to get you thinking about what you truly desire, which is so easy for women to lose in our everyday lives. During the weekend workshop I took, I did not check my phone, Internet or text messages once all day because I was so fascinated by what we learned. And, Kitty is also very generous in sharing herself and her experiences with the class. She has lived this journey. The other class members were also an amazing group of women that I am so glad to have met.
It would be no fun to give away the rest :) but if you want to learn to be more in the moment, and learn to experience beauty and pleasure in everyday life in the company of some truly amazing people, this is the class for you. I can’t say enough great things about what a transformative experience this has been! Thank you Kitty!!!
