Kids Empowerment Academy

Kids Empowerment Academy has worked wonders with my ten year old daughter. She has been bullied at her school and had become very introverted and shy. Ester has worked one on one with her to be able to speak with confidence and to show her that she does matter and has strength and power in words. My daughter is now confident enough to confront bullies and help other students as well. Her teacher has also stated she has blossomed in her speaking abilities when presenting reports to the class. I feel very lucky to have found her incredible program.

Having worked for this company as an assistant to the program director, I worked directly with the children, so I have seen first-​hand the change and progress that happens in just one 5-​day long workshop. From the shiest of children – those who wouldn’t even look me in the eye the first day, to those who just needed that extra push – this program really does succeed in building self-​confidence and leadership skills no matter what the strengths/​weaknesses of each child may be. By the end of each week, I saw the kids truly come out of their shells and with that, the start to an amazing change. Whether it was public speaking, debating, or just general self-​confidence, each child, without a doubt, improved noticeably.
The methods used are specifically tailored to each age group, and used to build confidence and strength where there was originally doubt or insecurity — for example, in public speaking. Of course, like with any new skill, practice makes perfect and one 5-​day workshop won’t turn anyone — child or adult — into a professional speaker or leader; however, that’s not the intent of the program. Instead, this program aims to, and succeeds, in building a foundational set of skills that can be further built upon with time and practice.
Kids Empowerment Academy is a great program with a unique approach to instilling confidence and building leadership skills in any child, no matter how shy or soft-​spoken. Watching how the kids changed and how their confidence grew within the span of just a few days was so rewarding for everyone involved — including parents who told us that they saw a change in their children at home as well as in the classroom. Working for this company was a great experience, and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to build or improve upon their child’s confidence and leadership skills!
