Kristan Shamus Events & Design is a comprehensive event planning and design business. We offer numerous levels of event planning and design services ranging from full scale planning to hourly consultation. Our event services covers, but is not limited to weddings, showers, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate meetings, retreats, and more. We are a new company but our owner, Kristan Shamus has 5 years of wedding industry experience and 10 years of event planning experience.
Most importantly we believe in marriage equality, to love is to be human, and to be human is to be equal.

Business Owner
Kristan comes from a corporate background where she worked as a career executive assistant. In this capacity she mastered many skills involved in planning and executing events: multi-tasking, creative, critical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail, task and project management, and the ability to communicate effectively and inter-personally to all employees, including members of the board of directors. Kristan has completed professional training with the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC) and is a member of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the National Association of Catering and Events (NACE).
