We are an intimate, boutique salon located in beautiful Miami Beach. You’ll instantly feel welcomed and at home as soon as you step through the door.

Our primary goal is to help you reach the best version of yourself when it comes to your hair. We are attentive, approachable, talented and passionate about hair. Experience your own personal slice of hair heaven at Gustavo Briand Studio.

Our services include haircuts, hair color, including highlights and color correction, hair extensions, hair remedies, serums and infusions, make-​up application and Keratin treatments.

The haircuts for ladies and gentlemen include a complimentary consultation, shampoo/​massage, conditioning and a simple blow-​out with or without Ionic Infrared Tourmaline ceramic iron.

To make it a full-​day of pampering, we also offer waxing, acupuncture, massage, facials, MicroDermabrasion, eyelash extensions and paraffin treatments.

Gustavo Briand has worked for Vidal Sassoon Salons in the Chicago, London, the United Kingdom, Boston, Santa Monica, Miami Beach and Germany. He developed stylists in the Vidal Sasson Academies and conducted in-​house training. He has settled in South Beach to deliver the best precision highlights and haircuts. Gustavo is also a National Educator and Platform Artist for Sojourn Products, Positive Chemistry for the Hair.

I really needed a haircut and my brother recommended me Gustavo. I booked online which was a breeze. Great communication, process and very comfortable environment. The whole experience was one of the best and heart warming I’ve ever had. Most importantly the hair cut was amazing! Plus getting lots of compliments :)) I come from San Francisco and for sure will be cutting my hair with Gustavo each time I come visit the East coast. Very grateful. Gustavo is a perfectionist who also listens to what you want when doing your hair, which I absolutely need. It is hard to find a good stylist for natural looking blonde highlights in Miami and I have tried 3 different high end salons and finally found someone who actually knows what he is doing! It is expensive and it takes a long time, plus, the salon is not very fancy looking so it is easy to be turned off, but if you want good color, look past all of that and go to Gustavo. When he was done with my color and my hair was dry, he was really upset to find my hair so uneven either from breakage or a bad haircut and wouldn’t let me leave without cleaning it up. He is also so kind and easy to talk to, which, as anyone who has ever gotten color knows, is a HUGE plus! If you can afford it, I highly highly recommend Gustavo.

Gustavo is the best! He takes his time to make sure you get the what you ask for with great results. If you are looking for a professional to obtain the best cut you need to go see him. As the saying goes «you get what you pay for». If you want to look like you got a $ 20 hair cut, go to another place. I few years back I use to park my car right by Gustavo’s shop when I went to the Standard Hotel while taking Jennifer Grace’s workshops Creative Journey. Little did I know the gem of a person and a hairstylist that was behind those doors. I have lived in South Florida for over 20 years and have trusted 3 people to do my hair, one now being Gustavo. I LOVED this haircut experience! Gustavo is so kind, and respected all of my wishes but gave me a look that was something extra, too. He is so skilled and I really trusted that he was going to give me high quality work! Super rude staff. I called to speak to the salon manager, and the guy that answered the phone tell me that he is in a meeting, and i ask for the manager email address. He ask me to hang on for a second, i hear him tell the manager, he wants your email what do you want me to do, so the manager gets on the phone with an attitude and ask what do i want. Who do you think you are?

The salon is not only a hair salon, but it is a home! You try it once, you’re hooked.
I go there for my Keratin, and my husband for haircut and sometimes Keratin too.
Gustavo (owner and hair stylist) gives his magic touch to your hair and to the salon’s design. It is a very cute and warm place, to spend some pamper time.
Let’s talk about hair: I naturally have thin curly hair (not freezy, no wavy, but big curls). Summer time in Miami, I don’t even know what my hair is, all I know is it’s not easy to deal with. Gustavo does my Keratin. I don’t wash my hair for 3 days. And my hair comes out STRAIGHT! I don’t even need to blow dry it or flat iron it after I wash it. It’s like magic. And Miami’s summer humidity got nothing on me!

I have been going to Gustavo Briand Studio since November 2014. After trying to find the right hair salon for years, I can finally stop my search — GUSTAVO BRIAND STUDIO IS IT! I have had several types of hair extensions in the past, all of which I was unsatisfied with. Naturally when presenting to the salon, I was skeptical and hesitant to try extensions again. Gustavo, however, was supportive and reassuring of the process. He took the time to explain my extension options to me and recommended the type of extensions that would be best for my hair type. Needless to say, he was right! Now I go to the salon regularly for keratin treatments, extension maintenance, cuts and blowdry and every time my hair is exquisitely done by both Gustavo and Will. I have consistently been satisfied with the outcomes. Gustavo is truly an artist and has a genuine passion and talent. I am always welcomed into the salon with open arms and Gustavo truly appreciates his customers. The studio is always clean and tidy and his staff is always helpful, accommodating and friendly.

I got a keratin treatment with them and it ended amazingly done!
I have a very frizzy and curly hair besides that it is chemically treated and it adds more frizz. I had a keratin treatment once 4 years ego and hated it. My hair became kinda straiten but still with a lot of frizz and i had to cut about 1,5″ of the ends because they were all burned. However i did some research and ended up thinking that it might be the treatment wasn’t applied properly and decided to go for it again as it is very difficult for me to maintain my hair in decent shape here in Miami’s weather.
After reading reviews I decided for this salon. It was Sat. And I really wanted to do it that day because of time but I was prepared to be asked to make an appointment for later on the week. I was very kindly greeted and we talked for good 20 min about what result i want to have. And what was my surprise when Gustavo offered me to do it at that same moment. So we did. Today is my first hair wash and I LOVE how it came. I still have some of my waives but they look so good and the hair got much better texture even my split ends got better.
They use very good products and did I mention they offered me cupcakes during the treatment?
Such a nice experience! Very professional and amazing results!

We call Gustavo Briand «The Transformer» because of the way he transforms us! Gustavo is both a fine artist and a highly skilled Vidal Sassoon National Trainer and the combination is unbeatable. His cut and color completely transformed me, and everyone –even strangers — come up to me to ask me who does my hair. Celebrities come from all over the world come to see him, but no matter who you are, you are treated like a celebrity when you are in Gustavo’s salon!

I just had a pleasure to get my cut and color with Gustavo.
He is amazing. Lately, after moving, I have been looking for hairstylist, and as many as there are around that can be just good enough, Gustavo raises the bar to the ones that are so few and so great.
He is very experienced, very detailed, and he listens to clients needs.
My hair is very short, so hiding any imperfections would be very hard. He gave me a perfect cut and color, and even when I was living, mentioned, that if by any chance I would change my mind, or not like something, he will gladly fix it.
…I wouldn’t change anything, as I said, it’s perfect.:)
