History

Established in 1991.

Luca Salon started in Rome with an exclusive clientele. Back then Luca was combining his innovative yet classic approach to hair with a line of natural products that followed his motto: «Simplicity. Total beauty comes from health and wellness.»

Upon arriving in Miami Beach in 2005 the likes of Paris Hilton and Ivelin Giro as well as Roman regulars like MIss Italy Francesca Chillemi and Maradona started frequenting the chic loft on Lenox Avenue.

Today Luca Salon is a established meeting point for the in crowd on the Beach.

Business Owner

Creator Luca Mencarini was born in Rome, Italy where he began his career as a student at the renowned Tony and Guy Academy of London, England. Luca received his teaching credentials from its sister academy in Italy and his innate passion for teaching led him to open his own hairdresser academy. In 1990, Luca purchased the Tony and Guy Academy in Italy and renamed it Alternativa Academia.

In 2005, Luca created a specialized hair and skin care product line named GoNaturalGoLuca. Since then, he has been traveling throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and Mexico. Luca has been featured in several magazines, has worked on the production of a book by world famous Colombian fashion designer Silvia Tcherassi, starred in Procter & Gamble commercials and has recently become the Artistic Director for the Simply Organic product line, which shares his personal view of a natural lifestyle.
