Paws On A Path has evolved to include care for: Dogs, Cats, Horses, Frogs, Fish, Squirrels, Possums, Chickens, Rabbits, Lizards and even Komodo Dragons!
House sitting is another specialty of ours, and we can help with whatever you need: mail collection, plant watering, just let us know what we can do to keep your regular routine going while you are away.
History
Established in 2009.
In the summer of 2009 I (Thea) started a part time dog hiking job in Topanga. Hiking in the mountains and watching the sunrise in the company of lovely dogs sets you up for a good day. Coming from a background of working in the Equine industry, it was natural to me, and I had a good understanding of the psychology of the pet-owner relationship.
Doing some research, I discovered that there is a great need to support families and hard working people in Los Angeles who want to make sure that their adored pets get all the attention and exercise they need.
Paws On A Path has grown from there! We now have a solid base of regular clients, who are like family. There are lots of repeat customers who need help when they take vacations or weekends away, and there are those dogs whom we are lucky enough to see on a regular schedule or daily basis. The business has steadily grown from strength to strength, and we look forward to introducing some new members of the Paws on Path team soon.
