History

Established in 1999.

Central Texas Real Estate & Property Management was formerly Austin Area Realtors established in 1999 and Fort Hood Realty Specialists established in 2003 and Central Texas Property Management establish in 2003. We decided to combine the real estate company into one so that we can be universal in more cities in Texas.

Ann Margaret Elizardo-​Shaw, Broker

An Army spouse and mother of two and started out in property management in 1984 right out of high school and continued in the private and public sectors managing scattered sites, multi-​family unit properties, condominiums, housing properties, and apartment complexes while earning her bachelor’s degree from Columbia College in business administration with a major in business and minor in HR management.

After receiving a real estate license in 1999 went to work with a major real estate brokerage to gain experience and knowledge before branching off with a partnering broker and starting a brokerages in Austin and Killeen, Texas. After receiving a broker’s license in 2004 said, «farewell to a partner,» and alone brokered two real estate companies and her property management company, along with agents and staff.
