Alliance Overhead Door

My garage door opener quit on me a few days ago. It was completely unresponsive and seemingly lost all power. I tried troubleshooting on my own but got nowhere. I then called Alliance Overhead Door and Chris came out to take a look. As soon as Chris stepped foot on my property, my opener came back to life on its own. My opener punked me. Chris was generous enough not to charge me anything for the house call. He still inspected my door (even going into my attic to inspect electrical connections) and told me that my opener’s circuit board was likely acting up and that I’d need to replace it at some point in the future, but not now. Great guy. Great service.

Yesterday evening the spring on my garage door opener broke. My car was trapped inside. I called Chris at Alliance Overhead Door, and he said he would be out first thing this morning. True to his word, he came and fixed it. I used the same company to install my garage door when we bought it. I so appreciate Chris. He is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and does good work. I will continue to use Alliance when any issues arise with my garage door opener.

I called Chris on Friday and he was ready to install a new 12×7 door for me the next Monday. He did a great job at a very reasonable price. I initially tried another garage door company I found on Unilocal who said they could have a door and opener installed but had to check on availability of a 12×7 door since it was an odd size. They told me they’d call the next day, then didn’t call. I followed up and they said they were waiting to hear from their supplier. After 3 days of waiting I called Alliance Overhead Door who knocked out my job fast. Thanks!

Alliance Overhead Door rescued us again! We called this morning and they said they would come over right away if we were trapped. Since we weren’t, I made arrangements for them to come later in the day. They arrived on time, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem at a great price. Love their sense of humor too!

Chris came out to repair our garage door. He was very courteous, quickly and friendly. We had a company come out to tell us that the garage door was not repairable then stated we needed a whole new door quoted $ 1,200 and charged us a fee for coming out to basically do nothing. Our door is only 4 years old not sure why we’d be given such misinformation. Alliance Overhead Door replaced the broken parts and gave us 3 year warranty. I’m so glad we could get a second opinion and quality work completed within an hour.

Garage door spring broke. A friend recommended I call Chris. He came out the same day and fixed me up. He was on time, good price and very friendly. I will definitely be recommending him to friends and family.

Last night, my wife came home from work around 6pm and parked her car in the garage. 15 minutes later, we hear a BOOOMMM! from the garage. Spring broke in half.
I called Chris up to see if we could schedule something, expecting him to be booked for the next week or so. He had things scheduled the next day so instead, went out of his way to come IMMEDIATELY and our garage door was fixed by 7:30pm! I seriously wish there were contractors and repairmen like Chris for all other areas of my house!
All that to say, rest assured that if you go with Chris to work on your garage door, you’re in good (and fast) hands.
BTW, that busted garage door that Chris fixed on the cheap 4 years ago is still going strong!

What an accommodating guy! His calendar was seemingly wide open when I first contacted him, and when I had to reschedule the day of his visit due to work, he was again wide open. Then when the day came for his visit he got stuck in traffic, showed up after 5:00 pm, and stayed until 7:00 pm to finish the job.
Oh, and he did a great job installing a new garage door opener and patiently walking me through the features and operations.
The previous owners of the home we bought had kept his card from when he installed an opener for them many years ago, and passed it onto me. I can see why!

When we had our garage spring break earlier this year Alliance was extremely quick and professional. They helped me get my car out of the garage and had everything fixed that day. I’ve since recommended them to others.

We had a broken tension spring on Sunday evening. I called at 9pm on Sunday and they kindly answered my call. Chris showed up next morning and repaired it like a magic! Their price is very reasonable and offers a warranty. I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

With a 3 bay garage our new house looked like garage-​mahal, I wasn’t thrilled with it. Needless to say as a 5ft «tall» shorty trying to push and pull these heavy doors manually, I was the opposite of thrilled.
Enter Chris from Alliance Overhead Door to make my life easier! Chris was right on time and worked around the zoo of 8 other contractors running around with no issue. Knowing absolutely zip about garage doors I trusted his recommendation on the equipment completely – and I am SO glad I did!
The garage doors are darn near SILENT. Especially compared to the old motors that shake the house and are noisy as hell, all three bays open with a nice and quiet little hum. BEAUTIFUL. This was especially important to me because my bedroom is sitting right on top of the garage doors… and I can’t hear then now! :D

Pro tip: Do not try to open the garage door with the garage door locked.
This is what happened at our rental house recently. The track had come loose from the mounting and the opener’s hardware was twisted. I called Alliance Overhead Door and they got me on the schedule the next day. Chris called prior to coming over and we met to assess the damage. After a quick inspection, Chris gave me a very reasonable quote and got to work. The job was done quickly and professionally and I would definitely use them again (hopefully I won’t have to any time soon).

The wife came home to find the garage door wouldn’t open. Turned out we had a broken tension spring. Called Alliance around 2:00 and we were fixed by 5:30.
These guys were fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everything is fixed and it didn’t break the bank. We’ll be using Alliance in the future and recommending them to our friends.

I called chris at 8:30. 3 hours later my door was fixed.
Chris is a nice guy who knows garage doors. He replaced 2 tension springs. He was in and out in an hour. Would have been faster but he’s personable and easy to talk too.

I am a DIYer. But I called Chris for this. The main reason was because tension spring are hard to find — ie lowes and Home Depot don’t carry them. I really didn’t want to wait a week for them to come in. Ok. Truth be told — I was ok waiting a week. Wife was not. :-) She wins!
Chris is a nice guy who does qualify work. He even replaced my incorrect bolts connecting my garage door to the opener with correct ones.
