This hotel is great. Beautiful rooms and nice location. Very pleased with our weekend stay here. I booked my room through a second party app and I saved a bit of money. We came down for the Texas Renaissance festival and after much consideration of several other hotels we were really pleased we chose this one. However do note the entire hotel is non smoking. Also, breakfast is not free you have different room options from very basic to others with incentives such as breakfast for an up charge. We got our breakfast option locked in the room rate when we initially booked. Breakfast is not continental it’s in the sporting news restaurant and you have to pay for it unless you pay for the higher room rate with breakfast included like we did.

No complaints at all. Perfect location for a meeting on Energy Corridor(Eldridge Parkway) with minimal traffic jams as typical of Houston at least locally. Only had to wait for three lights to get out onto Eldridge(10 minutes) so if you leave an hour early to get two blocks you should be fine. «Won» the honors member of the day award so had extra perks like free drinks at the bar, free drinks and snacks in the room, special treatment which was fun. Yeah, win THAT! 5 Stars all the way.

Great hotel for a great price. Not for the price, but for a price. We booked for $ 66 and it would’ve been worth more. Breakfast isn’t included but starts at $ 8.50. The bar and grill downstairs seemed nice and the ballroom hosts a comedy show each Friday and Saturday, but it was sold out when we were there. Huge lobby area, and while the rooms are small for a Houston hotel, they’re good enough. Nice bathrooms with beautiful gray tile flooring. No complaints whatsoever.

What I liked — close to client and restaurants. Clean, nice rooms with plenty of space, staff is friendly and accommodating. Not good — thin walls to the degree that you feel like you are in the same room as the snoring guest next door. A bit creepy.

Where to begin? Thinnest walls I have ever experienced. Not only could I hear the guy next to me snoring(as if he was next to me) but I got to hear him and his«lady friend» «exercising» two nights in a row at 3am! Water pressure in the shower very weak. AND mid week they notified us they would be turning the water off to the ENTIRE hotel from 8 – 5, but we could use PORT-A-POTTIESOUTSIDE if necessary!!! I think I should have been made aware of that when I checked in. I definitely would have gone elsewhere. Only one sports bar to eat at– and that was closed the day we had no water. Only decaf coffee in the lobby in the mornings. WHAT? Absolutely slowest internet I have ever used. The business center computer was no help either– it literally took me 23 minutes to print my boarding pass– On a side note, what is it with people slamming hotel room doors all hours of the night and day? PEOPLE, you know you can allow the door to close gently, right? Try to be more considerate. The only plus was the staff– every employee was wonderful.

Not too shabby. Check in was easy and so fast. The front desk clerks made this as fast and as easy as possible. Slightly enjoyable too. Since I am a premier member, I was lucky enough to spin a wheel at the front desk. Now, I didn’t go home a brand new millionaire but I did win a complimentary drink. I could have chose a drink from the bar but after my long flight, I just wanted a nice cold bottle of water. The lobby itself is nice. There are complimentary waters up front behind the desk. They were flavored waters — lemon, cucumber and one other I cannot remember. This hotel was not my first choice but the other hotel I had available to me was not available for bookings. The reason this hotel was not my first choice was because this location did not offer a free continental breakfast. But when I walked into my room and saw my nice big King Size bed, I was like who needs a free breakfast! The rooms were cleaned okay. Not the best, not the worse. I just have seen cleaner hotel rooms before. The room itself was nice and I really liked the bathroom. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel, so this made this really easy for dinner options especially because I did not get a rental car for my business trip. Holiday Inn provided a shuttle service to anywhere within a 5 mile radius. Thank you for saving me some money!!! So in the end, this may not have been my first choice but after my experience I would definitely utilize their services again. They do provide free Wi-fi. The best part about their wi-fi was that they had multiple log-ins so the wi-fi was never slow.
