Quality Inn & Suites West – Energy Corridor

I wish I could leave 0 Star because this was the worse place I ever stayed at in my entire life!!! I was desperate to stay here because I was tired from driving from New Orleans. I had a coupon for it and thought it would be a nice place to stay. Sadly, I forgot to review the Unilocal reviews before I got my room. I was too tired to find another motel… I should’ve left though.
The guy honored my coupon and gave me a nice executive suite with a King size bed. I thought that was nice. The room was like 3 little motels into 1. I looked around the room and didn’t find any bugs. I unloaded my car for the evening with no problems. The room did stink, so I turned on the AC to help with the smell.
Then I went to get ice around the corner. The ice machine was broken. So I walked to the office and told the guy. He told me he knows it is broken. I thought why didn’t you tell me in the first place. He gave me some ice from a ice bag he had. Back to the room I go. The room was still hot and stinky. I checked the AC. I noticed the curtains were blocking the vents, preventing the cold air into the large room. I fixed it with pillows holding the curtains in place.
The fridge was garbage sadly because it didn’t work either. The microwave was super ancient lol. I was scared to use it. The flyer in the room said you can get coffee 24 hours a day in the lobby. I walked there and I was about to get a cup of Joe. The guy told me not to get the coffee because it is old. He told me use the coffee in my room. I told him the flyer said I can get coffee in the lobby anytime. He just stared at me. I didn’t watch tv because I watched Netflix on my laptop.
The other Unilocaler mentioned the store across the street had protection glass. It was true. A horrible neighborhood to be in. Breakfast was a huge let down too. The flyer was wrong once again about having an amazing free breakfast. The waffle machine was nice. The yogurt was a Wal-​Mart brand because I looked at it. Their fridge was not working either cause it was hot.
The only thing I liked about this place was the the check-​out time was noon. I used the time up until the last second of sleeping. The bed was not comfortable and I did found a roach in the bathroom. The taxes for this place was 19%!!! I paid more for this dump than a lovely evening at the Château Hotel in New Orleans the night before.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place as far as you can. Don’t stay at the other places because the neighborhood is not safe. Keep driving until you are out of Houston. It will be worth the extra driving.

ATROCIOUS PLACE TO STAY! The beds are hard. the breakfast was horrible and we kept finding roaches in our bathroom smh. Please do yourself a favor and don’t book with them.

My company limits the hotels we stay in. This is not a nice place. Not bugs or odd smells. But it’s run down. The cable is limited. The traffic and entrance make it difficult to get in. The gas station across the street has the casher in bulletproof glass cage. That tell you anything?

Awful. Booked first night’s stay through
. We had three rooms for 10 people and were traveling for a school competition. We needed a 2^nd night. I called the hotel and (thought) I booked all 3 rooms for a 2^nd night. The woman gave me a slightly cheaper rate than we received through the other company. When she did not email me the confirmation that was promised, I called back a couple of days later. The manager laughed at me about the rate and said that he could not find my reservation. Because everything in the area was booked, I had to stay with that hotel. He booked us at a higher rate. When I got there for check in it was even higher. All three rooms had tubs that would not drain, broken refrigerators about 15 – 20 years old, and one of our rooms had a broken A/​C. The carpet was stained and torn. The beds were hard. The staff was rude, especially the manager. We slept in the last day until 9:30. My husband called the front desk to find out when breakfast ended and was told 9:30. So we had to go out and buy breakfast and spend an extra $ 70 for 10 people. When checking out I mentioned that I didn’t understand why breakfast would end at 9:30 on a Sunday. The girl said it ends at 10, not 9:30. This was the same girl that told my husband 9:30. I asked her about that, she laughed and said that she was confused on the time. I told her that confusion costed our group and extra $ 70. She just laughed again and said, «again mam, I am sorry for that mistake.» and shook her head. Awful stay! I do not recommend to anyone.
