I absolutely loved this spa! I called to make an appointment for a facial and was surprised to get in the same day $ 99 for a customized facial I highly recommend this for anyone needing a good cleanse or a nice relaxing time.

I referred by my dermatologist from Connecticut, I made an appointment to Go see Ashelly right away was the greatest decision I made she’s so professional. She customize her own facials depending on your skin. She has really improved my skin since moving to Hawaii she’s awesome !! If your having out of control breakouts & dark spots. So she has cut my hair for quite some time now… she supported me the last year that I was trying to grow my hair out– that says a lot as I get weak in the chair and she knew that and would not let me cut it!
Finally yesterday I decided that it was time to get my hair cleaned up… I am not a long locks gal! I am a short hair person and that is just the way it has to be… if Sheryl stays around that is. She has the skills and beyond to cut an amazing short hair cut… she went to Sassoon the world famous for her schooling and has been rocking it independently for hecka long. I do not want to sound dope-​E but she made me feel pretty again! I love my hair and before I found her I would have to go back to salons for fixes… meaning I’m often picky!
Thank you Sheryl for allowing me to feel pretty again… I is all in the hair!

My first time here and my experience has been by far the best decision I made for my skin. I was a bit nervous at first, cause I have never done a micro peel. Thanks to Ashley! she is the best esthetician with great advise and recommendations and the only one I TRUST with my skin. Ashley is young but she has so much experience and very knowledgeable. When she speaks you know instantly she loves what she does and has a passion for her work. I’m now going on my 8^th treatment and I’ve saw a huge difference on my face. skin feels alot smoother, I don’t breakout as I use too, my favorite part is that I’ve notice my face seem to glow more. Reneux med spa is so welcoming and clean, the staffs are so sweet and friendly. Sometimes I may come in a little early, and I just love sitting there using up their little set up coffee station.lol. I always look forward to my appts, that’s when I feel so relax and girlie. When I’m done, I walk away feeling pretty:) It is worth what you pay for. I see Sheryl at Reneux Med and Day spa for my haircut or bang trim.
Mostly bang trims. She is awesome. Always goes on the more conservative side because she can always cut more hair, you can’t put it back. I really like that about her.
She makes sure you’re happy with your hair cut.

Here’s an idea of the spa’s location surrounding area:
Sitting down and wondering what to eat? Either on the first floor or walk across to Ward to take your pic of the eats that is around there.
Sitting down and contemplating shopping? There is shops nearby at Ward or better yet, get your dealio on and head to Nordstrom Rack.
Is your honey with you and he doesn’t know what to do? He can either go to the gym across the street (if he has membership) or run around Ala Moana while you get your hair done.
After you are prettied up and you both want to watch the latest movie? Then, my goodness – you are near Ward 16!
Oh, I can go on and on and on about what is surrounding this little olé’ beauty spa, however, I’ll brag about Sheryl Gibo and her mad stylin’ skills.
I’ve been going to her since she worked at Salon Blanc and when she notified me that she’ll be relocating while I was at training in Baltimore. I noted it down and kept her business card.
When I returned in April, I made an appointment with her because I wanted to take out my highlights and trim my hair.
I was ever so happy to see her! Sheryl is always friendly and gives the best advice for my hair. Her scalp and neck massage is the BEST and if I could-​I would pay just for her scalp and neck massage in between my hair sessions! BUT that is another service from Reneux Med and Day Spa, which I need to check out because if I am getting my hair and brows done here-​I might as well go for the entire treatment, yes?
But, back to Sheryl. Her skills is over and beyond. Her prices are reasonable and she is always accommodating. She will never let you walk out of there with a hairstyle that doesn’t compliment you.
She brought my hair back to my natural color and trimmed my hair/​bangs because I wanted to try my hand at growing out my hair (we’ll see how long I can handle longer hair especially since it is summer time).
Overall, she is a hairstylist that you can trust enough to say, «I’ll go with whatever you think is best» and walk out of there feeling oh so pretty.

I have only gone here once to get a haircut once from Sheryl Gibo. She used to work at another salon and decided to fly solo at this new venue. She does an excellent job cutting hair! I have a knack for getting my hair butchered everywhere I go and Sheryl got it right the very first time and every time since. Another thing that amazes me is the way she styles it after the haircut… something so simple, yet everyone screws it up. Sheryl never lets me walk out looking ridiculous and I appreciate it. My wife even has Sheryl cut and color her hair… and that says a lot!
Oh yeah, she’s gives the best scalp massages while shampooing your hair… I’m at a loss for words to describe how great they are. You just want to fall asleep after a long day of work… but you can’t because she makes great conversation.
Just give Sheryl a call and you can thank me later.

There is parking available at the lot right next to the building but you MUST pay. If not you will end up with a bright baby blue envelope on your windshield. What’s $ 1/​hour it’s better than getting a ticket which can be $ 100 who knows. I remember one day I paid for my parking and I saw majority of the cars in the lot with the blue envelopes on their windshields thank goodness I paid. You never know when the parking police will show up.
The workers here are so friendly and kind, as soon as you walk in they greet you with a nice warm welcoming smile. The service here is wonderful and pleasant. The spa is very clean.
My favorite hair stylist moved to this spa so of course I will follow her. I can’t go to anyone else but Sheryl Gibo to cut, color and style my hair.

Reneux Spa is located in the same building as Bamboo Sky — upstairs on the 2^nd floor. There is a private parking lot where you pay about $ 1/​hour — very reasonable!
I started coming to Reneux for my laser treatments. From my very first appointment for my consultation, I instantly felt comfortable with the staff. I met with the doctor the first time and she did a very thorough consultation and explained the entire process. They also had a few paying plan options since most of their treatments require about 5 – 6 visits.
I would go to see Gayle on Saturdays and she was so nice and professional! We would talk throughout the majority of the treatment to try to get my mind off of the pain– they say its like a rubber band snapping on you… but certain places are a little more sore than that! They would use the ice roller to help numb the area– which helped a lot! Sometimes the ice roller would hurt more than the treatment itself since it was so cold!
I definitely want to try them out for their facials and other treatments. Be sure to subscribe to their emails too since they tend to have monthly specials!

I have been going to Reneux for about a year for Botox and Restylane. Oh my gosh! The doctor is so much gentler than the plastic surgeon I had been going to. She takes her time, plans the areas to inject very well, and uses tiny needles and a soothing touch. I always feel that I’ve been treated with care and consideration. She cares that the outcome is what I am looking for. I never feel rushed. Always worth the money and the slight discomfort!

I come here to see Lena for my brow waxes and she is amazing! Little more expensive than what I was used to paying before my first visit, but it is definitely worth it, especially if you have ever experienced someone completely messing up your eyebrows like I have. With her, no such worries; you will be well taken care of :)
As far as the rest the spa, I haven’t had any other services done there, but it is definitely a very relaxing environment. The staff there is super friendly and it seems they have got a lot of loyal clients, based on all the pleasant conversations I’m always overhearing. When I’m looking for somewhere to go for a good spa day, Reneux will for sure be the first place I check out.

Reneux is the BEST place to go for laser hair removal! The spa is extremely clean with a friendly and professional staff. Their prices are very competitive, especially if you join their «feel good» club, where you save 25% on all laser hair removal services & more. Gayle, who performs my laser hair removal, is beyond amazing! She makes you feel very comfortable throughout the process and makes sure the pain is very minimal. I was very skeptical at first because I have many friends (who had their laser hair removal done elsewhere) talk about how painful their procedures were. However, my experience at Reneux with Gayle has been amazing so far! I would highly recommend Reneux for anyone interested in laser hair removal!

Love that it is not in a hotel, which brings the price down, but still has a clean n peaceful feel. Sharron’s sweetness got me through the painful experience of laser hair removal. And Gail is just as sweet. Hate the snooty places!

All i have to say is that I’m a RENEUX customer for life! you can’t get much better than Reneux! There are a lot of other places linked to living social, play hawaii, and groupon that offer a cheap deal, but when it comes to serious work with laser removal, I choose RENEUX for their TOP QUALITY over anything else.
I’ve always stuck to waxing when it comes to hair removal, but I thought about how costly and time consuming it would be in the long run. I began to consider laser hair removal as an option, but was always hesitant about the cost and the pain. Reneux offers many monthly specials (which is great when you’re a bit unsure of the commitment and the cost) on various treatments they offer, so I decided to finally go for it. They always offer consultation to talk one on one about the procedure and any questions or concerns you may have before proceeding. I’d previously gone to Reneux for my consultation for latisse and the staff was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional so I already knew I would be in good hands.
Waxing was no problem, but this was my first time with the laser, so i was a bit hesitant at first. All of the laser technicians are registered nurses and that definitely put me at ease. I’ve been going to Gayle for my sessions and she’s absolutely wonderful! She’s so sweet and she makes sure that the settings are comfortable for you. Laser does come with a little pain, but she never goes beyond your pain threshold. I’m so happy with the results I’ve had with their thorough, fast, and nearly painless work! I’m definitely returning to do a few other areas!

LASER TREATMENTS: I NEVER, EVER thought I’d even consider getting laser hair removal. My best friend did it several years ago on her arms and hearing her talk about it scared me off from the idea altogether. Plus it was always something I thought of as an indulgence reserved only for bikini models, celebrities and those who «dance-​with-​poles», BUT… after hearing more and more about more friends doing laser hair removal, and having been quite fed up for some time now with the pain and problems of waxing, I decided to give it try. I believe that ALL of their staff that does the laser treatments are RNs or doctors. Calling it a Med and Day spa is perfect, because it combines the professionalism of a doctor’s office with the luxury of a spa. How ingenious is that?
PAIN FACTOR: It’s going to be different for everyone, depending on how your skin reacts. They offer both a topical cream and/​or ice rollers to numb the skin. If you choose the topical cream, it will take about 30 minutes to work and Jennifer was very upfront in saying that it takes the edge off for some, but for others it doesn’t seem to make a difference. So I just went with the ice option. I won’t lie… it stings… but not moreso than waxing. Like everyone says, it feels a lot like rubber bands snapping against your skin. Sore, but tolerable. I think I’ll be much more mentally prepared to go in for my second treament (in 6 weeks).
SERVICE (FRONT DESK): Very pleasant. When I first called, I spoke with Kim, who was very helpful and took time to give me details about their laser treatment service and was even able to fit me into their schedule that same day. I wish every spa were as pleasant and helpful over the phone.
AFTER CARE: Several days following my first appointment, one of the staff called on the doctor’s behalf to ask how I was doing. I was doing fine, and it was nice to know they would be keeping in touch with me until I go back for my next treatment in about 4 weeks.
BOTTOM LINE: For anyone considering med/​spa treatments, the bottom line is that they are expensive. At this point I’m not quite sure how much it will cost me to finish my laser hair removal process (because it’s different for everyone), but it will be hundreds of dollars in the end. But waxing in general at any salon/​spa (the better ones) will add up to the same amount in about a year and I’m super pleased with the results so far. I couldn’t imagine having NOT done it. :0)
