The best thing about this place was the dancers, I can’t imagine the talent and routine that goes into the dances and the overall culture was amazing. However, with that said. This was my first luau and the food was disappointing. I was expecting something more authentic and flavorful, but was left with a bland option. The fresh pineapple was very good left on the table. Be sure to wear flip flops as you are in the sand and maybe some bug spray! The bar offered a free drink with a basic entry, but was poured in a small glass and wasn’t that great. Very much well drinks.
Overall I understand they have a lot of quantity, but the quality was not great. Plus you have to go through an industrial sketchy area to get to the location. And leaves with a smell in the air possibly from the outlying factories.

We had a wonderful evening. The food and entertainment was topnotch. The staff were warm and friendly. The weather and the sunset were perfect. We upgraded to preferred seating and we’re very pleased. I want to thank Germains for reconizinng my parents 60 wedding anniversary. I recommend Germain’s luau.

Go to Germaine’s Luau! Do not second guess this decision — you will not be disappointed! The show is fabulous — those performers dance their hearts out! — and the food is delicious! I’ve been to Germaine’s 4 times and am far from finished :) Go to Germaine’s!

As a native Hawaiian, Germaine’s is the best local luau in Oahu. They have been around for many many years and offer a great deal for all that you get. The food was delicious and show was fabulous.

it was an amazing experience! the first luau i’ve been too! the dancing was great and the spirit was real strong! the fire act at the end was my favorite! hawaii is such an awesome place! once the fresh food is served, then the party is really on! the mai tai’s were quite a treat for the rest of the night while the performances go on for hours! it was a great experience for me coming from new york! i would recommend this place to anybody that is looking to have a fun with a bunch of good people! aallloooooooohhhhaaaaaa
